This document discusses different types of graphical representations of data, including line charts, bar diagrams, pie diagrams, and histograms. It provides examples of each type using a sample data set of marks scored by a student in five subjects. Line charts connect data points with straight lines, bar diagrams represent values using vertical or horizontal bars, pie diagrams show proportions of a whole using a circle, and histograms estimate the distribution of a continuous variable. The document aims to demonstrate how transforming numeric data into visual formats helps improve understanding.

 Graphical representation of data
 The transformation of data through visuals methods like graphs,
diagrams, maps and charts is called representation of dara.
 We use these representation in order to gain better insight and
understanding of the problem.
 Pictures can convey an overall message much better than a list
of numbers. Lets we now discuss some graphical presentations of
data

INTRODUCTION
Line charts :-
A line chart or line plot or line
graph or curve chart is a type
of chart which displays
information as a series of data
called markers connected by
straight line segments.
