The following workshop must be developed in groups. The groups are the same groups
assigned at the beginning of the course. The workshop must be uploaded on the virtual
classroom maximum on Sunday 09/04/2023 until 11:30 pm.
Workshop S8:
Climbing
1. Generate the Hodoghaph Diagram for the Gulfstream IV airplane at sea level and at 4000
meter ASL. For both altitudes use an ISA+22 condition (use MS Excel for this activity).

4
2. Find the maximum climb angle, the velocity at which it occurs and the rate of climb for
maximum climb angle for the Gulfstream IV airplane at sea level and at 4000 meters ASL.
For both altitudes use an ISA+22 condition.

Assume:
W = 324720 N L
(TA)0 = 120102 N,
CD = 0.015+0.08C 2
