HSBC’ GLOBAL STRATEGY

The global ambition of HSBC

 Being the preferred international financial partner for our clients.
 Accelerating the shift of capital to areas, principally Asia and wealth.
 HSBC’s international network remains a key competitive advantage and they will
continue to support cross-border banking flows between major trade corridors.
Now it has developed a strategy of building networks within the world’s largest and
fastest growing trade corridors (streams of products, services and information moving
between geographic entities) and economic zones.
The company states that: ‘Our network of businesses covers the world’s largest and
fastest growing trade corridors and economic zones. More than 45 percent of our client
revenue derives from businesses and individuals with an international presence’
They are aiming to reach mid-single-digit revenue growth in the medium to long term,
with a higher proportion of our revenue from fee and insurance income.

 Lead the world in serving mid-market corporates globally
