Transformer construction, Principle of operation, Transformer on No-Load,
Ideal Transformer, Real Transformer and Equivalent Circuit, Transformer
Testing, Voltage regulation, Efficiency, Three-phase transformer, Polarity Test
and group connections, Parallel operation of transformers, The Per Unit

● 3-Phase Induction Machines
Construction, revolving field theory, synchronous speed & slip, rotor and
equivalent circuit models, Principle of operation, Tests to determine
parameter of the equivalent circuit, Power distribution of an induction motor,
torque equation, stall & starting torque, efficiency, torque-speed curves,
speed control, starting methods, parameter measurement.
