I. Objectives:
CONTENT STANDARD:
The learners demonstrate an understanding of concepts and principles in setting
up computer servers
PERFORMANCE STANDARD:
The learners shall be able to set up computer servers based on acceptable
standards and hardware
LEARNING COMPETENCY:
Set up user access in accordance with operating system features- Personal
Protective Equipment (TLE_IACSS9- 12SUCS-IIIa-e-37)
- Integration:
● Physics- Coulomb’s law (Explanation of static electricity and its
manifestations in everyday life.)
● DRRM – Exposure and Vulnerability (Differentiate among hazards,
exposure, and vulnerabilities and give examples from actual situations-
DRR11/12-Id-13)
● Value Integration-SELF-RELIANCE- Being responsible in using the right
tool/equipment for a certain task
- Materials:
● Books, ppt, pictures, software tools
Strategy:
The Five Es Instructional Model
(by Roger Bybee of The Biological Science Curriculum Study)
1. Engage: This stage provides the opportunity for the teachers to discover what students know or
what they think they know.
2. Explore: This stage provides a common set of experiences as well as a broad range of
experiences. This stage allows students to compare what they think about with what they are
actually observing.
3. Explain: This stage provides opportunities for students to connect their previous experiences and
to begin to make conceptual sense of the main ideas within the unit of study.
4. Elaborate: In this stage students apply or extend the concepts in new situations and relate their
previous experiences to new ones.
5. Evaluate: Evaluation of students' conceptual understanding and ability to use skills begins at the
Engage stage and continues throughout the model.
I. Preliminaries
Any among you who is not feeling (response depends on the situation)

b. Prayer Kindly lead the prayer ___________ (______________ will lead the opening
prayer.)
c. checking of the Bring out your ID’s for me to scan (Students will bring out their ID’s for
attendance your attendance today QR code scanning)

game. It is called “4-PICS AND A participate in the given activity.)
WORD”.
PERSONAL
Very good!!
Do you think using proper tools can by using proper tools, we can
help in minimizing exposure, and minimize or avoid being exposed to
vulnerabilities to you as technicians electric shocks as well as minimize
as well as with the computers you the vulnerability of accidents
are working with? explain how because we use the proper tools
E. Evaluate Direction: Given the following (the students will answer using the
situations, choose the best answer sheet provided)
equipment to be used.
answer key:
____1. You are removing the screws
1. a
of your system unit to perform
internal visual inspection. You 2. b
observed that the screws
attaching the cover are cross in 3. b
shape. What will you use? 4. a
a. Phillips Screwdriver 5. b
b. Flat head Screwdriver
c. tweezers
III. Assignment
Strategy: The concept of deep and surface learning from the research of Marton and Säljö in 1976
Deep learning-In this approach learners look at the significance of what they are
being taught and attempt to make sense of it, connecting information and thinking
into the topic. They look for the overall meaning and attempt to process information in
a holistic way. The learners develop their own interpretation of the content by
integrating it with their existing knowledge. Deep learning develops critical analysis
and encourages long term retention of concepts.
In 200 words, write an essay entitled “With the Right Knowledge, Tools, and Great Discipline,
We Can Compete with the Fast-Growing Technological Advancement in Our Society”.
