IMPLEMENTING RULES AND REGULATIONS

Prima Moda
“ Fashionista”

A. OBJECTIVES
The activity aims to:
1. Build Camaraderie
2. Showcase the talents of Patulinians through Fashion and Modelling.
3. Establish harmonious relationship of every Patulinian.

B. GENERAL MECHANICS
1. Each team shall have a minimum of 5 pairs to represent the team for each category on the
Foundation day. A pair must consist of a male & a female.

2. The categories are as follows:

A. School Uniform
B. Retro Attire
C. Jeans Attire
D. Aesthetic Attire
E. Career Attire

3. Contenders must wear proper attire apt to the category.

4. Firecrackers or any item attached or used as props that can harm the candidates, audience and
school property are strictly prohibited.

5. The decision of the Board of Jurors is final and irrevocable.

C. CATEGORIES

1. School Uniform
1.1 Keep accessories to a minimum to maintain the uniformity of the attire. However, small
accents such as a belt, tie, or hair accessories in the school's designated color can
help to pull the look together.
1.2 Ensure that the outfit is clean, well-pressed, and fits properly.
1.3 Make sure to maintain a neat and tidy appearance by keeping hair, nails, and
grooming well-maintained. If applicable, follow any makeup or hair guidelines outlined
in the school's uniform policy.
2. Retro Attire
2.1. Contestants must observe decency

3. Jeans Attire
3.1. Male contestants may or may not be topless.
3.2. Female contestants must wear an upper wardrobe (can show belly button but
restricted to wear too much revealing bras)

4. Aesthetic Attire
4.1 Contestants must observe decency

5. Career Attire
5.1 Choose a dress that reflects the style of the profession.
5.2 If necessary, choose accessories that are simple and not too flashy. Look for classic
jewelry like pearls, stud earrings or a simple necklace. Avoid wearing large or distracting
jewelry pieces.
5.3 Remember that you are representing a profession, so maintain a high level of
professionalism.

D. CRITERIA

Fashion and Style 35 %


(Creative and apt display of garments and
accessories)
Catwalk or Runway Presence 25 %
(Display of Confidence and Modeling Skills)
X Factor Confidence 20 %
(Display and Connection to the Audience)
Elegance, Poise and Style 15%
(General Pose and Sophistication)
Audience Impact 5%

Total 100%

E. SUBMISSION

1. The names of the representatives from each team must be submitted to the chairman on or
before April 28, 2023.

2. Each pair shall pay 50 pesos (25 each) per category as registration fee.

3. Practices shall be scheduled and be announced ahead of time by the chairman.


F. DEMERITS AND DISQUALIFICATION

1. Failure to comply General Mechanics # 3 shall have a 5-point deduction.

2. Failure to attend 2 consecutive practices without any valid reason shall also be disqualified.

3. For the categories, Failure to comply with the rules shall have a 2-point deduction in the
candidates’ total score.

G. AWARDS

1. The title for each category (Best in Jeans Attire, Best in Retro Attire, Best in Aesthetic Attire,
Best in Career Attire) shall receive a sash and a Certificate of Recognition.

2. The highest pointer in the criterion Catwalk or Runway Presence shall be receiving a sash.
