Answer 2. The advantages of adopting cloud computing in hospital

Introduction:
Healthcare providers across the world have come to understand the variety of potential
cloud-based healthcare solutions. As per BCC research, it's expected that the Compound
Annual rate of growth of cloud computing services and solutions will maintain a course of
15% increase till the year 2025. By the year 2025, the dimensions of the cloud-powered
healthcare market are going to be $55 BN. More than 83% of the healthcare industry today is
implementing cloud for his or her business operations by replacing their old data systems.
Cloud runs essential applications to stay the hospital operations running without a glitch,
analyses patterns from unstructured data to assist doctors better diagnose, and enables
patients to remotely view their test reports and prescriptions from the info securely stored
within the cloud. Cloud offers operational, functional, and economic benefits for everybody
involved – patients, doctors, and healthcare organizations.
Concept of advantages of cloud computing
1. Collaboration: Sharing facilitates collaboration. With it, the process of data sharing
has become a lot easier and simpler. As healthcare information is supposed to
remain confidential, with it, the data can be securely shared among all the relevant
healthcare stakeholders like doctors, nurses, and care-givers that, too, in real-time.
2. Better customer service: According to the 2019 Connected Health Consumer
research by Sales force, 47% of consumers claim that healthcare and life sciences are
more focused on industry needs than patient needs. This is a problem that can be
solved with cloud computing. Thanks to the cloud, consumers have high visibility
during the entire process: from making the first appointment to understanding their
insurance coverage and easy access to their records
3.  Prevention of diseases: With the help of the cloud, you can gather big data that
comes from different sources and leverage intelligent technologies such as AI, ML,
data science to analyze it and drive valuable insights. For example, it is possible to
predict the chances of someone getting ill based on their behaviours and identify
warning signs of serious illness at an early stage. Also, healthcare experts can predict
and prevent the outbreaks and spread of infectious diseases.
4.  Improved medical outcomes: Cloud helps when it comes to treating difficult
diseases such as cancer, AIDS, multiple sclerosis, etc. Thanks to big data, data
analytics, it is possible to collect data from patients on different treatment plans and
analyze it for trends and patterns to find those with the highest rates of success.
Moreover, big data and predictive analytics assist healthcare specialists with
predicting future outcomes of diseases and/or treatments. As a result, the number of
fatal cases decreases, and there is lower risk of disease complications.
5. Streamlined hospital operations: Thanks to the cloud, healthcare companies can
speed up processes, save labour costs, gain better efficiency, accuracy and security.
For example, Robotic process automation (RPA) solutions for the healthcare industry
can handle repetitive, manual workloads through software robots. With the help of
predictive analytics, healthcare specialists can forecast the load and allocate the right
number of people to handle it. Also, they can prevent the unneeded emergency room
visits and save healthcare costs as a result. With preventive maintenance, healthcare
companies can ensure the uninterrupted performance of medical equipment and
reduce the number of No Fault Found events (NFF).
6. Cost-efficiency: With cloud computing solutions, you enjoy the flexibility in pricing:
pay only for the computing resources you use. Healthcare companies can get rid of in-
house server, storage and don’t need to maintain idle resources in anticipation of a
surge. Plus, there are also indirect cost savings that come from the reduced downtime
of apps in the cloud, increased staff productivity, and lower administrative expenses.
7. Scalability: As your business grows, you need to be able to reach more customers
without the cost and headache of rewriting your applications. With cloud-native
development, your solutions can support millions of users anywhere in the world,
process millions of requests per second ensuring millisecond latency.
Introduction how can mobile devices helps Doctors in hospitals
Today, mobile business applications, running on both smart phones and tablet
computers, become increasingly important for the medical domain. This ranges from
schedule management applications to complex process-oriented, mobile patient
management systems since these applications have evolved from administrative (e.g.,
bed planning) to operational (e.g., measuring blood pressure) tasks, it is necessary to
support medical staff in their daily routine. This can be supported through the
integration of external sensors, which are not built in the smart mobile device, for
monitoring vital signs. Due to heterogeneity of available external sensors, it becomes
necessary to classify these devices. This can be done, for example, based on the type
of vital signs a sensor can monitor (e.g., pulse or oxygen saturation), or the type of
connection (e.g., Bluetooth or USB) the sensor supports. In addition to the diversity of
mobile operating systems (e.g., Android or iOS), various development aspects emerge
that must be addressed. This ranges from different types of provided sensor data to the
quality of gathered data (e.g., real-time or bulk-load data). Furthermore, coping with
connection problems (e.g., disconnections between the participating devices) during
mobile data collection is challenging.
To evaluate these specific aspects, we present our implemented mobile fitness
application “XFitXtreme” that communicates with external sensors. Based on
insights of this application, we want to create a sensor framework, which allows for
the provision of a variety of different vital signs to athletes or patients using mobile
applications with sensors. The remainder of this paper is structured as follows:
Section 2 discusses our application scenario. In Section 3, basic concepts for
developing a mobile fitness application are introduced, and the designed system
architecture is presented. Section 4 discusses the current status of our fitness
application “XFitXtreme” and presents particular issues emerging during the
implementation.
Fig. General architecture of XFitXtreme

Conclusion
Cloud computing have some merits and demerits. As along with time demerits will be sorted
and, in future cloud computing makes easier life style. As we study how Cloud computing
helps secure patient data and insure nonsupervisory compliance while allowing healthcare
providers to continue delivering technologically advanced patient care and gets.
To implement such a mobile application, we first had to determine the appropriate
development type of application (e.g., Web Application or Native Application). In case of the
“XFitXtreme” application we implemented a native application because of the lack of
Bluetooth functionality for the other basic development types of mobile applications.
Moreover, we aim at real-time processing and visualization of gathered vital signs and hence
a challenging and realistic application was a must. Additionally, we presented system
architecture for business applications that shall be used with external sensors and explained
our layered design.

amenities are going to be included .

Answer 3(b).
Introduction: - importance of smart city and here also define the challenges in
managing smart city.

Smart City Definition

Definitions of what makes a city ‘smart,’ for instance , IBM defines a sensible city as
“one that creates optimal use of all the interconnected information available today to raised
understand and control its operations and improve the use of limited resources.”
However, in short, a wise city uses a framework of knowledge and communication
technologies to form deploy and promote development practices to affect urban challenges
and make a joined-up technologically-enabled and sustainable infrastructure.
The Importance of Smart city:
In the world half the population sleep in cities and this is often expected to rise to 66% in
20years, adding an extra 2.5 billion people to the urban population over subsequent three
decades. With this expected increase there comes a requirement to manage environmental,
social and economic sustainability of resources.
Smart cities allow citizens and native government authorities to figure together to launch
initiatives and use smart technologies to manage assets and resources within the growing
urban environment.

Smart City Technologies have some Challenges:

Smart city should be authorized by Government. Lavasa private city project failed because
the Indian Environment and Forests ministry ordered that construction cease because the
project violated environmental laws. Smart cities use a selection of software, user
interfaces and communication networks alongside the online of Things to deliver
connected solutions for the overall public. Of these, is that the most vital.
For all of the benefits offered by smart cities, there are also challenges to beat. These
include officialdom allowing widespread participation from citizens. There’s also a
requirement for the private and public sectors to align with residents so as that
everybody can positively contribute to the community.
Smart city projects need to be clear and available to citizens via an open data portal or
mobile app. this enables residents to interact with the data and complete personal tasks like
paying bills, finding efficient transportation options and assessing energy consumption
within the house .
This all requires a solid and secure system of data and storage to prevent hacking or
misuse. Smart city data also must be undefined to stop privacy issues from arising.
The largest challenge is kind of probably that of connectivity, with thousands or
even many devices eager to connect and add unison. This may allow services to, up and
ongoing improvements to be made as demand increases.
Technology aside, smart cities also got to account for social factors that provide a cultural
fabric that's attractive to residents and offer a way of place. This is often particularly
important for those cities that are being created from the bottom up and wish to draw
in residents.

Conclusion:
Creating smart connected systems for our urban areas provides a superb many benefits for
citizens around the world, not only to reinforce quality of life, but also to form sure
sustainability and thus absolutely the best use of resources.
These solutions are enthusiastic to a unified approach from government also because the
private sector and residents themselves. With the proper support and infrastructure,
however, smart cities can use advances just like the web of Things to strengthen the lives
of residents and make joined-up living solutions for the growing global urban citizenry.
TWI has expertise in many of the underpinning technologies of a replacement smart
future, including sensors, electrification and power generation solutions.
