1.0 Scope
2.1 Gas Cylinder traceable to international standard reference materials shall be used as
standard for calibration.
2.2 The standard shall be kept under controlled environmental conditions e.g. dust free
environment and Lab Temperature 22°C ± 2°C, Humidity 60%RH ± 20%RH.
3.1 The details of Gas Analyzer received for calibration shall be entered in the Calibration
Job Form .
3.2 Inspection of Gas Analyzer for general condition shall be carried out.
3.3 The Gas Analyzer shall be inspected and marked () in relevant block of equipment's
primary inspection section of Calibration Data Sheet .
4.1 The Gas Analyzer to be calibrated shall be maintained at laboratory temperature for 02
hours minimum.
4.2 The Measurements of Gas Analyzer shall be taken against the standard Gas Cylinder.
4.3 Apply the needed Gas into the UUT as initial reading before conducting the calibration of
sensor.
4.4 Select CAL Mode on the instrument after initial reading.
4.5 Apply the Gas needed on the calibration.
4.6 The Unit Under Test will show if the calibration is PASS or FAILED. Recalibrate the UUT
if FAILED until it shows PASS.
4.7 Record the results on the data sheet and calculate for error.
4.8 A calibration certificate shall be generated according to data gathered listed on the data
sheet.
4.7 A Calibration Sticker containing following information shall be affixed on the calibrated
pH Meter.
a) Item code
b) Calibrated on
c) Next calibration date
All the latest formats are documented in Master List of Document / Record and placed in CQF
file for reference.
All the latest Standard Calibration Procedures (SCP) are controlled and issued to concerned
Calibration Engineers.
