B. Performance Standards The learners shall be able to create a dynamic slide presentation that include animation, narration, images, videos and more.

C. Learning Competencies/objectives At the end of this lesson, the learners should be able to:

1. Identify the key features of the PowerPoint 2016 interface, including the Ribbon, Quick Access Toolbar, and Backstage view.

2. Express confidence and self-efficacy in using PowerPoint 2016 to create and deliver professional presentations.

3. Use PowerPoint 2016 features to manage and manipulate presentation elements, such as moving and resizing objects, aligning and distributing elements, and grouping and ungrouping objects.

A. Establishing a purpose for PowerPoint Master Challenge!

the lesson (Motivation) This is to motivate learners to learn and explore the PowerPoint 2016 environment, as well as improve their skills in managing and creating presentations.

Materials Needed:

Access to PowerPoint 2016, a timer, and a list of challenges.

Instructions:

1. The learners will be divided into three teams.

2. Each team will be provided with a computer with PowerPoint 2016 installed and a list of challenges.

3. A timer for 10 minutes will be set, and the teams will be asked to complete as many challenges as they can within the allotted time.

4. Challenges includes:

a. Create a title slide with a custom background.

b. Add a new slide and apply a different slide layout.

c. Use the design tab to change the color scheme of the presentation.
d. Insert a table or chart into a slide and customize it.

e. Add an animation or transition effect to a slide.

f. Use the speaker notes feature to add additional information to a slide.

g. Collaborate with your group to create a presentation together.

5. The first team who will have accomplished the most number task will win.

Instructions:

1. Each learner should create a 5 slides presentation using MS PowerPoint 2016.

2. Each slide should be formatted according to the etiquette on creating PowerPoint Presentations.

3. The learners should save their file as LastNameFirstNameSectionWhoAmI.pptx.

4. The learner’s output should be sent to [email protected].


5. The learner’s output will be graded using a grading rubric attached herewith.
