 Adhesive Promoter 3M K520 (Primer)  Small Brush
 Clean, Lint-Free Wiping Cloth  White Board Marker
 Drill and drill bit 6  Isopropyl Alcohol (IPA)
 Cable Tie  T spanner 10
PRE-INSTALLATION WARNINGS, CAUTIONS and NOTES
 Perodua Authorized Service Center installation recommended
 For 3M K520 Adhesion Promoter MSDS, Kindly refer to
www.3M.com
 Install the Rear Bumper Protector only when Rear Bumper
temperature are between 16˚C – 43˚C
WARRANTY
 Warranty period: 6 months from the date of part installation to
the car body
 The warranty becomes null and void if defects arising from
misuse, improper storage, improper repair, improper installation,
alteration or any abnormal use by the owner or the user of the
vehicle

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE:

1) Take out skirting from packaging and check painting


surface, Rubber Lining and Double Side Tape are free
from any defect

2) Clean Rear Bumper surface using clean cloth applied


with IPA
CAUTION
Failure to clean the mounting surface properly may
cause the Adhesive Tape to have poor adhesion

3) Using the T spanner 10, disassemble under Front


Bumper original screw (4 points)

4) Take out Under Spoiler

5) Apply Primer on Front Bumper as shown in picture.


Primer application must not too much (thin layer)

Allow Primer to dry completely before installing part
4 (approx. 30-90 seconds)

6) Pull out some Tape Liner (about 50mm) and fold back

7) Install Skirting to Front Bumper starting from left side.


Setting Skirting position by slot-in end cap flange into
Front Bumper clearance as shown in picture. Then
install right side

8) Pull whole Tape Liner starting from side area. Push part
firmly to ensure Adhesive Tape touched the Bumper
surface.

9) For the “Horns” portion, push the part first, pull out
Tape Liner and pull the parts upward

10) Lastly pull out Tape Liner at center portion.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE:

11) Push end cap inside car direction.

12) Start to drill to make a hole on Front Bumper using drill


bit Ø6. Ready hole on skirting as guide for drill position.

NOTE
Turn car wheel fully to the right during left side hole
drilling process or fully to the left for right side

13) Insert supplied clip Ø6

14) Pry open using cable tie if there any folded Rubber
Lining

15) Reassemble all the 4 screws under the Front Bumper


using T-spanner 10

16) Using clean cloth applied with IPA, apply 15 lbs. of force
along the tape path

CAUTION
Do not wash or expose the vehicle to a wet
environment for 24 hours after installation
