a. Analyze intention of words or expressions used in propaganda techniques
(EN8V-IIIg-26)
I. Learning Objectives
At the end of the lesson, at least 85% of the students should be able to:
a. identify the propaganda techniques through the given text and advertisements;
b. recognize the importance of analyzing the intention of words or expressions used
in propaganda techniques; and
c. create their text/print advertisement using a specific propaganda technique.
II. Subject Matter: Propaganda techniques

III. Lesson Procedures
A. preliminary activity:

3. Checking of attendance
4. Review of previous lesson.
B. Presentation/ Lesson Proper
5. Motivation
Pre-activity: (5minutes) “FBM” or Face book Memory” the teacher will show a
screenshot of facebook Memory post, and all you must do is to list down your
observations.
2. Discussion Proper
Every time you hear the word “Propaganda” what comes in your mind?
The following are some example of propaganda techniques;
1. Bandwagon
2. Testimonial
3. Plain folks
3. APPLICATION/ EVALUATION
Activity 1: Propaganda Analysis
Directions: Find a partner. Complete the given table of advertisements below. The
Teacher will show three (3) different products. Identify the name and the
advertisement of each item. Recognize what propaganda technique is used and
explain how it is used in each advertisement.

IV. Assignment
Directions: PRINT ADVERTISEMENT
 Create your own advertisement with a brand name, image, logo, and tagline.
 You can use any propaganda technique of your desire.
 You can use any application or website to edit your work.
 Size must be 8.5 by 11 in Portrait or Landscape.
 It will be pass on Feb. 27,2023, Monday English time.
 Rubrics will be presented to the students.
