FLEE attempt will also give you 5 EN.
- Added a new command, /autosave [on/off], to enable or disable the autosave
feature.
- Redesigned the Bestiary menu to divide it into seperate tabs for each area,

for us to add onto it later).

battles go by faster overall.

intended.

overwritten by another enemy's data.
- Fixed a bug with multi-enemy encounters where sparing a single enemy would still

Here's the v2.7.0 changelog:

- Added new MULTI-ENEMY ENCOUNTERS! It is now possible to encounter up to three
enemies in the same battle, just like in Undertale!
- Added a redesigned ACT SYSTEM, based on the mercy bar mechanic from Deltarune
Chapter 2. Every enemy has now been given all-new ACTs, and each ACT can increase
the enemy's MERCY value by a certain amount. Getting the MERCY value to 100% will
make the enemy spareable! But wait, there's more...!
- Added a new EMOTION SYSTEM to enemy encounters! To make enemies feel more like
individuals rather than carbon copies of each other, each enemy you encounter can
have a random emotion applied to them that affects the battle. A "neutral" enemy
will be the default, an "ANGRY" enemy will have higher ATK, a "SAD" enemy will have
higher DEF, a "HAPPY" enemy will have higher HP, an "AFRAID" enemy will decrease
your invulnerablity frames, and a "DISGUSTED" enemy will have longer attacks. But
that's not all, enemies will also react differently to ACTs based on their emotion!
This provides a lot more variety for pacifists, since now you'll need to use your
ACTs in different ways to accommodate the enemy's emotion!
- Added a new BEFRIEND SYSTEM! If you spare enough of a certain type of enemy, they
will become your "friend", and their ACTs will give double their usual value,
making that enemy easier to spare. Friendly enemies will also appear as NPCs in the
overworld, populating the areas with new characters to talk to! Fill up the
overworld with all of your new friends! If you befriend every enemy in an area,
you'll be able to find them all in a group hanging out, and they might even give
you a gift!
- Added a new FILE SELECT SYSTEM to Online Multiplayer and Offline Mode. You will
now be given the option to choose one of three save files. The purpose of this
addition is to prevent the need for players to make entirely new accounts to play
different routes online. The save file that you're playing on (File 1, 2 or 3) will
be displayed on your Undernet profile.
- Added the ability to EXPORT YOUR ONLINE SAVE FILES as Offline Mode save files.
This is to help players get started preserving their save files for the future,
when DFC inevitably shuts off its connection to GMServer to switch over to a
private server system. There's no need to worry about anything yet, the feature is
just already implemented for your convenience is all. Simply choose a save file to
export, then an offline save file to replace, and presto!
- Added a new vessel: BERDLY, featuring both his Light World form and his new Dark
World form featured in Deltarune Chapter 2!
- Added a new enemy to the Dark World: JIGSAWRY! This brings the total number of
enemies in the Dark World to three.
- Added a new QUESTS menu in your CELL. From here you can see a description of your
current main quest (when they get added in v3.0.0), as well as your daily quests!
Speaking of daily quests...
- Added new DAILY QUESTS. Every day there will be three randomly-chosen daily
quests to complete. There are 24 different types of quests, and their conditions
are random too, so they offer plenty of variety! Completing a daily quest will
reward you with a gift box, which can contain gold, undercoins, or even a Glitch
Ticket!
- Added a redesigned VESSEL MENU, to make navigation easier (and more stylish).
- Added new assets to the Dark World, particularly for the Field of Hopes and
Dreams and Scarlet Forest. Check out their new looks!
- Added a new design for Grillby's. The interior has received a visual upgrade and
is now larger to provide more seating!
- Added the ability to feed items to partners, so that there's now another method
to increase their friendship level besides battling with them. It also gives items
another use too, so it's a win-win! Certain items give more points than others.
- Added a new skill: P-ACTION. During a battle, you can use this skill to have your
partner help you increase the effect of your ACTs on an enemy. The effect of this
skill is based on the friendship level of your partner. There is unique flavor text
for every partner when using this skill, so give them a try! This skill replaces
"Lullaby", which was no longer needed.
- Added a new minigame: "GRAND THEFT HARLOW VR". It was originally just a joke for
a teaser, but has now been included as a playable minigame. You can access it from
the computer in Alphys' lab. There's a new leaderboard for this minigame as well,
so have fun reaching the top!
- Added a new PvP theme for Berdly, titled "Scientocracy of Gamers (with Nipples)",
arranged by Perpetrator with assistance from SMario8282.

Here", arranged by Perpetrator.

original.

drinks.

EN, emotions, befriending, partners, etc.

MTT Hotel. This makes purchasing pogs easier, as you no longer need to do it just
one at a time.
- Added sound effects from the game OMORI to replace some of the usual sounds while
playing as the Omori vessel.
- Added text that appears over the area doorways in the HUB area, which states the
names and numbered order of the areas, to make the intended order of areas more
clear.

mobile version.

- Replaced Harlow's Dark World costume with the latest iteration of the design, as
well as adding a new pose for them.
- Changed a vessel's "PvP Level" into a new system called "Vessel Level". It is now
possible to "level up" your vessel by doing other things besides PvP, such as
digging up pog holes, collecting Starwalker's power stars, and encountering
gold/diamond enemies. Increasing a vessel's level will increase the GOLD rewards
you get from battles while using that vessel. Vessel Levels have also been added
into Offline Mode, so they are no longer an online-exclusive feature.
- Changed one of King's local chat emotes, and added a new one.
- Changed the sprite of the collectable stars in Starwalker's minigame, from the
SM64 power star into a more fitting original sprite.

- Changed the sign at the start of the Dark World.
- Changed the prices of the booster drinks to be slightly higher.
- Changed Mew Mew's overworld sprites to give her a rounder face, rosy cheeks, and
hair shading.
- Changed the PaciKiss booster drink so now instead of making an enemy instantly-
spareable, it will make the ACTs of every enemy give 100% effectiveness. However,
it will only do this for enemies you have befriended, so you still need to befriend
an enemy normally before being able to use PaciKiss on them.
- Changed Susie's light world costume into the funny one (you know which one).
- Gave Whimsun a new attack to replace their old one.
- The "Bounty" system has been removed from the game, as it has now been replaced
with the new daily quests.
- Made it so it is now possible to use keyboard hotkeys in Offline Mode: you can
press [W] or [R] to warp, [S] to change vessel, and [U] to open Undernet.
- Made it so in a PvP match, the game will try to predict if you've dealt the
killing blow to your opponent, hopefully making battles end quicker.
- Made it so if you die to a corruption battle, you'll now go back to the overworld
with 1 HP rather than dying and potentially losing progress.
- Made it so pacifists get their GOLD rewards from a party calculated based on
their spare count rather than their LV.
- Made it so you cannot gain bonus rewards from a party while in a PvP fight.

Trophy 6.

For-All rather than POWER 20.

- Made it so you can now transfer up to 10000G to another player through the bank,
rather than a limit of 2500G.

stuck in battles if you're in a hurry.
- Increased the prices of SKILLS from 5, 10, and 15 to 10, 15 and 25.
- Improved the grass in the Field of Hopes and Dreams to make the wind appear to
blow diagonally rather than simply horizontally.
- Improved the trees in the Field of Hopes and Dreams to make their animation
smoother.

standing around in the Ruins).

- Renamed "Rickstercraft" to "Minecrap" to match a reference that Spamton says in

requirement, since he's unobtainable for now.
- Made it so the maximum size of custom maps is now 1000x1000 rather than
2000x2000.
- Made it so mobile players can no longer take in-game screenshots using the

users still have access to Snapshot Mode, but they'll now need to use their
device's built-in screenshot tool to take the picture.
- Made it so LV 99s in a party now earn a kill instead of EXP if another party
member shared EXP, since EXP has no value for LV 99s.
- Made it so you can't rename your weapon to any of the weapons that already exist.
- Made it so if you try selecting "PARTY" on mobile, it'll show a message
explaining that parties are not available on mobile.
- Nerfed parties so that you can only get up to half of the reward a user earns per
battle, rather than the full amount every time.
- Changed the color of the GamerBlood drink sprite from orange to red.
- Increased the effect of CRYSTAL BEPIS juuust a bit to make diamonds a little more
common.
- Fixed a bug where the game could lock you out permanently if your GOLD count went
above 999999.
- Fixed a bug where it was possible to earn above 999999 GOLD while in a party.
- Fixed a bug where the party message would display "+0 SPARE" even if a spare was
actually earned.
- Fixed a bug where you could duplicate booster drinks.
- Fixed a bug where weapon and armor chests would show you the spare requirement
message if your EXP was at 0, regardless of your LV.
- Fixed a bug where the "Show Random Players" toggle in Snapshot Mode did not
correctly hide other players.
- Fixed a bug where one of Whimsalot's attacks could possibly loop a sound effect
for the rest of the battle.
- Fixed a bug where the Tem Armor's healing effect still worked in PvP.
- Fixed a bug where Froggit's head would shift out of place after getting hit.
- Fixed a bug where Player 2 in Offline Mode Co-Op would default back to Harlow
when they entered a room.
- Fixed a bug where you couldn't change the Omori partner's costume.
- Fixed a bug where the active drink sprite in the STAT menu would appear black in
the Judgement Hall.
- Fixed a bug where if you select any built-in music and then import custom music
in the Map Creator, both songs will start playing over each other.
- Fixed a bug where using interactions in the map editor test mode could make it
show the default text rather than the assigned text.
- Fixed a bug where the camera might not follow the player in a custom map.
- Other minor fixes.

Here's the v2.6.0 changelog:

- Added TWO NEW VESSELS: Madotsuki from Yume Nikki and Omori from OMORI! Omori
comes with three costumes that allow you to appear as Aubrey, Kel, or Hero!
- Added THREE NEW ENEMIES: Final Froggit, Whimsalot, and Astigmatism! These three
can now be encountered in the CORE, and have been added to the Bestiary.
- Added new rooms in the CORE to provide more space to encounter the new enemies
there.
- Added a new Gold Grind Room for the CORE. It is more expensive than the previous
doors, coming at a cost of 5000G.
- Added a new PARTY SYSTEM, which allows you to create a party of up to four
players so that you can play the game cooperatively! When party members earn EXP,
GOLD, or SPAREs, then everyone else in the party will earn a bit of it too! Don't
worry, if you're a pacifist then you won't receive any EXP from your party members,
and if you're a genocider with no spares then you won't earn any spares from them
either! There's a new option in UNDERNET where you can create/join a party, give it
a try with your friends!
- Added a new DFC EDITOR in Offline Mode! You can now play and create CUSTOM MAPS
for the game using the brand-new Map Creator! You can also import custom sprite
assets for props and even NPCs! The new editor makes it really easy to create
unique content within DFC itself. Whether its memes, skit videos, sprite comics, or
anything you can think of, the DFC EDITOR makes it possible to do it all in-game!
- Added a new mechanic: WEAPON EFFECTS. If you've played Undertale, then you'll
remember how some of the weapons tweaked how the FIGHT option worked, such as
adding more bars to hit or making you spam the [Z] button to deal damage. These
have now been incorporated into DFC as "weapon effects"! The EQUIP category in your
ITEM menu will now display what "effect" a weapon will give you. Give the different
effects a shot!
- Added a new mechanic: COMBAT BONUSES. Certain weapon effects will grant you
combat bonuses depending on how well you use them. For example, if you have a
weapon that gives you 3 bars when FIGHTing, then if you hit all 3 bars perfectly in
the center you'll receive a bonus 30 ATK. This is quite useful for enemies such as
Hathy who still require two hits to defeat past LV 20. Get your timing just right
and mow down those enemies!
- Added a new mechanic: ARMOR EFFECTS. Certain armor will now grant you gameplay-
enhancing effects. For example, the "Epic Shades" will upgrade every previous
weapon to 99 ATK while you're wearing it, allowing you to make use of your previous
weapons without sacrificing your ATK stat. Another example is the "Tem Armor",
which will now heal 1HP every turn while you're wearing it.
- Added a new and improved FREE-FOR-ALL mode! FFA has been completely revamped into
a proper top-down shooter minigame, where the goal is to shoot at other enemies and
try not to get shot yourself! Bullets no longer cause attack boxes to appear like
before, as this was too slow and clunky. Instead, bullets just deal damage as you'd
expect! There are also new perks as well as a new weapon upgrade system, where the
more kills you get the better your weapon becomes! Give it a try!
- Added a new TARGET PRACTICE mode for FFA, which allows you to play FFA solo! AI-
controlled bots will spawn around the current map for you to track down and shoot.
This new mode replaces the long-unavailable Practice Mode from the original FFA.
- Added an upgraded WARP MENU! You can now choose to warp to any of the save points
in the game, rather than only one warp per area. Since this is a new warp system,
all of the warps will be locked at first. They will unlock automatically as you
explore the overworld.
- Added VENDING MACHINES. You'll find one of these in each area (except New Home),
and they all sell four drinks: "PaciKiss", which makes enemies instantly spareable
for 30 minutes; "GLD BRU", which increases the chance of finding gold enemies for
30 minutes; "Crystal Bepis", which increases the chance of finding diamond enemies
for 30 minutes; and "GamerBlood", which increases the chance of finding corruptions
for 30 minutes. The vending machine is locked until you reach LV 20 for genociders
or 2000 spares for pacifists, so its main purpose is to assist with post-game
grinding.
- Added a new co-op TWO-PLAYER MODE to Offline Mode! There is now a new button in
the offline CELL menu labelled "2-PLAYER". Selecting this will spawn another
playable character that can be controlled locally using the same keyboard! If
you're using arrow keys to move, then player 2 will use WASD, and vice versa. There
will also be two souls in-battle, the second one being controlled by player 2. Both
players share the same stats and HP, but as a bonus for playing together, you'll
get a 50% reward bonus from battles! Grab a friend and give it a try!
- Added new overworld graphics for Hotland.
- Added a brand new keyboard for the mobile version of the game, to replace the old
keyboard. The mobile keyboard has been redesigned to provide larger buttons, neater
organization, and to fix issues with certain keys not working previously. I hope
the new keyboard improves the mobile experience!
- Added new quick-chat options when playing PvP in the mobile version of the game.
Instead of not being able to use ACT at all, you'll know be able to choose one of
three pre-written messages to send!
- Added a new badge system. You can now choose what badge you want to display next
to your nametag at any time in the settings menu! You can choose the "LOVE" badge,
which displays a badge based on your LV, the "MERCY" badge, which displays a badge
based on your spares, the "SOUL" badge, which displays a badge with your chosen
soul color, or "NONE" if you don't want a badge!
- Added a new "OTHER..." option in the CELL menu, which replaces the "GameJolt"
option. This menu features various shortcuts for online-specific features such as
submitting scores to leaderboards, viewing the player list, viewing bounties,
opening the daily gift, and more.
- Added a new SNAPSHOT MODE! This mode is available from the new "OTHER..." menu,
and allows you to take free control over the camera and snap pictures! This mode is
great for taking pictures with friends, creating sprite comics using the game
itself, or even making videos with your friends as the actors!
- Added the "Sound Test" menu in the Extras. It allows you to listen to all 43 of
the current tracks from DFC's official soundtrack! It'll get updated when new
tracks are added.
- Added a new costume for the Quote vessel.
- Added a new pop-up above the YOU WON message at the end of a battle, which shows
you the level of your current partner and how much is left until they level up.
- Added the ability to take a regular screenshot of the game at any time by
pressing the [F11] key. Mobile users will still have to use Snapshot Mode, though.
- Added a brand new look for Local Chat, removing the black box around each message
and putting outlines around the text. This allows more of the room to be seen
behind messages, and it takes up less space.
- Added a new "Local Chat Style" option in the settings menu. You can now choose
between three different styles for local chat: "DEFAULT", "SIMPLE", and "CLASSIC".
"SIMPLE" uses a smaller font and removes vessel icons, and "CLASSIC" is the old
appearance.
- Added an improved ban message when a player attempts to login with a banned
account. The game will now tell you more information about your ban, including the
reason you were banned, the date and time your ban ends (adjusted to your
timezone), and how many days are left of the ban.
- Added three new trophies: "fully upgrading your EN/SKILLS", "getting every
partner", and "getting maximum friendship with every partner".
- Added a new pose for Harlow.
- Added item reshuffling. When you use an item, your item slots will now rearrange
themselves, so that there's no longer empty gaps between items.
- Added a new command, /msglimit, which allows you to change the maximum number of
local chat messages that can be displayed at once in the overworld. You can choose
either 3, 2, or just 1 message able to displayed at a time.
- Added the ability to have only music muted while sound effects can still play.
Just keep toggling the "Master Volume" option until it says "SFX ONLY", which will
mute all music and still keep sound effects.
- Added a new save room in Lost World 2, which previously did not have anywhere to
save.
- Added a new save point in the Last Corridor in New Home.
- Added animated lights to the CORE like in the original game.
- Added a new sound effect that plays when you rename your weapon with Malius.
- Added a new partner bonus if you have Frisk and Chara together.
- Added a new "/togglewasd" command that allows you to change between Arrow Keys
and WASD controls at any time in-game.
- Added the shadow beneath text like in Deltarune when in the Dark World.
- If your LV is 20 or above, the encounter icon will now display a smiley face
instead of an exclamation mark, similar to its behavior in Undertale's genocide
route.
- Increased the speed of the slash animation when FIGHTing.
- Improved the shake animation when enemies get hit.
- The speed of your attack reticle is now dictated by your LV rather than the
strength of the weapon. This is to allow speed buffs granted by certain weapons to
remain useful in the late-game.
- It is now a bit more common to have the reticle spawn on the opposite side when
FIGHTing.
- You can now use any vessel you want in FFA mode. Since the revamped FFA no longer
has specific characters to use, you're able to use your current vessel while
playing FFA.
- Changed the description of certain SKILLS to say "this turn" rather than "next
turn" to avoid confusion.
- The CHARM skill now goes up in increments of 25% instead of 10%, meaning you can
now get a maximum of 75% more gold from a fight if you use the CHARM skill.
- Made it so the weapon you have equipped will show an open chest icon in the EQUIP
menu.
- Made it so you cannot select the FIGHT option in PvP for the first 5 seconds of
your turn, to prevent an issue where you could send an attack/spell before the
other player was ready to receive it.
- The "Enable PvP" setting now gets saved, so if you prefer to have it turned off
you no longer have to keep manually turning it off every time you play.
- Changed the STAT option in PvP to now show your opponent's TP.
- The reward for completing STARWALKER's minigame has increased from 100G to 250G.
- It is now possible to flee from Corruption Battles.
- Made it so when other players step on the spikes in Alpha Ruins, the spikes will
now go down for them on your screen as well, to avoid hurting their feet.
- Made it so the Joker vessel's special battle theme will no longer play during
corruption battles.
- Made it so you can't use the touch screen when using the draw feature in Undernet
on mobile, as it didn't work correctly.
- Made it so when you enter the hub room, the game autosaves. This is to prevent a
bug where players who quit without saving would start the game in a random room.
- Made it so in the Vessel Menu, when the selected vessel's PvP LV is at 9, it
displays "MAX" instead of "9/9".
- Renamed the "BOMB DOG POG" to "ANNOYING POG" because why didn't I think of that
before?
- Fixed a visual error where the Waterfall and Hotland borders would overlap the
viewport by a few pixels.
- Fixed a visual error where the map and perk overlays in FFA wouldn't display
correctly with borders on.
- Fixed an issue where HTML links would not open correctly in web browsers.
- Fixed an issue where PUMP and BRACE skills might not revert their effects after a
turn has passed.
- Fixed a bug where the incorrect soul color would be shown in the top-left UI in
PvP.
- Fixed a bug where local chat did not censor banned words correctly.
- Fixed a bug where despite getting some EXP, chests could still show you the spare
requirement rather than the LV requirement.
- Fixed a bug where it was possible to get another corruption battle right after
using a glitch ticket.
- Fixed a bug where it was possible to get a Corruption Battle while the Connection
Lost message was showing.
- Fixed a bug where you could press multiple arrow keys at once to glitch the
cursor in the vessel menus.
- Fixed a bug where mobile users couldn't use local chat after using global chat.
- Fixed a bug where you couldn't purchase the Tem Key if your inventory was full.
- Fixed a bug where recipients couldn't see the bank transfer message if they were
using borders.
- Fixed a bug where Undernet DMs wouldn't display correctly for people using
borders.
- Fixed a bug where dying in Splat2D would crash the game.
- Fixed a bug where Trophy 6 (buying everything on Undernet) did not take Niko,
Remedy, and Quote into account.
- Fixed a bug where disabling the Darkheart would also take away Trophy 6 until you
re-enabled it.
- Fixed a bug where having WASD controls on would make the controls for PvP acting
and local chat expressions work incorrectly.
- Fixed a bug where selecting Racer!Flowey in the Partner menu would not change the
"Call Partner" text to "Remove Partner".
- Fixed a bug where you could grind on top of Starwalker's power stars and
recollect them over and over.
- Fixed a bug where you couldn't get an EN Boost after fleeing a battle, even if
you had enough to get it.
- Fixed a bug where it would bring you back to the old login screen rather than the
main menu after registering an account.
- Fixed a bug where despite meeting its requirements, Trophy 5 (get all puzzle
pieces) did not appear in Offline Mode.
- Fixed a bug where the game could crash if you press the cancel key while
selecting an item during battle.
- Fixed a bug where the TP graze outline didn't appear upside-down when using the
monster soul in PvP.
- Fixed an oversight in FFA mode where the default SOUL was still purple instead of
red.
- Other minor fixes.

Here's the v2.5.3 changelog:

- Added a new command, "/togglebadge", which will enable/disable the badges next to
player names.
- Added new variants to the badges to help them be more easily told apart and to
reward dedicated players. The new variants are as follows:
- Pacifists with 2000 spares will now receive a bronze pacifist badge, 5000
spares will receive a gold pacifist badge, and 10000 spares will receive a diamond
pacifist badge.
- Genociders that are LV 20 will now receive a bronze knife badge, LV 50 will
receive a gold knife badge, and LV 99 will receive a diamond knife badge.
- Tweaked the appearance of the genocide knife badge and the admin-only badge
(which now looks like a heart rather than a save point).
- Getting a corruption battle will now autosave the game, so that if you die to the
corruption you won't lose any progress.
- Since there's a toggle for badges now, the "Plain" nametag style will now display
badges like the other styles do.
- Fixed an oversight where the Tem Armor chest said that the armor had 500 DEF when
it actually has 200.
- Fixed the collision with Gyftrot in Snowdin.

Here's the v2.5.2 changelog:

- Added new vanity badges! There will now be symbols that appear next to your
username in the overworld for everyone to see if you're a 2000+ spare pacifist, a
LV 20+ genocider, or a LV 99 genocider. The icon changes depending on which one you
are! Admins have also received their own badges so that they can be easily
identified.
- It now costs only 1 glitch ticket to summon a corruption from the clam follower
instead of 3 tickets.
- Removed Global PvP. I said that it was "experimental" in v2.5.0's changelog, and
it has certainly proven to be just that. It sometimes worked and sometimes didn't
due to the nature of how variables get updated across the server (which I can't
change), so it wasn't worth keeping it in without consistency. Thanks for
understanding.
- The "Local PvP" tab has now been renamed to simply just "PvP List".
- Manual PvP no longer allows you to send a PvP invite to anyone in the game
regardless of location, you can now only send a PvP invite to people in the same
room as you.
- You can now manually cancel a PvP invite yourself by going to the PvP List and
pressing [C/CTRL].
- You are now shown the ID of the user you have invited to PvP in the bottom right
corner of the PvP list.
- Implemented a failsafe so that your opponent's PvP rank gets recorded at the
start of the fight so that you more consistently get the correct amount of points
after winning.
- Changed Quote's overworld sprite to give them eyes.
- Fixed a bug where bone attacks would spawn during corruption battles (for real
this time).
- Fixed a bug where you could get softlocked for the rest of your turn if you used
the STAT option in PvP.
- Fixed a bug where mobile users could activate the PC version's menu hotkeys using
the global chat keyboard.
- Fixed a bug where pacifists could not unlock the Tem Armor chest.
- Fixed a bug where the Brace skill would not have an affect in a corruption
battle.
- Fixed a bug where the "Plain" namestyle would reset when you went to another
room.
- Fixed a bug where the "Plain" namestyle would render far above your head.
- Fixed a bug where getting the "but nobody came" encounter would softlock the
game.
- Fixed a bug where names in local chat might appear as the wrong color. The game
will now check if no color data could be found (indicating possible missing data),
and it'll try to prevent it from sending if so.
- Fixed a bug where certain words were not getting censored correctly in local chat
if you had Safety Mode on.
- Fixed a bug where certain words were not getting censored correctly in global
chat if you had Safety Mode on.
- Fixed a bug where partner information on Undernet was not displaying correctly.
- Fixed a bug where there was a chance you might not win a PvP match despite having
defeated your opponent, instead just being forced to flee.
- Fixed a bug where acting text could appear to be overlapping over the flavor text
during a battle.
- Fixed a bug where you could get sent into a PvP fight while local chat was still
open.
- Fixed a bug where you could still use menu hotkeys when you shouldn't be able to.
- Fixed a bug where it was possible for both players to start with their turn in
PvP.
- Fixed the "Quitting..." message not displaying correctly if you changed your
fullscreen scale.
- Fixed a visual bug where the monster soul in the multiplayer start menu used the
wrong outline.
- Fixed a visual bug where the partner icon did not show up in the Partners menu
while in the Judgement Hall.
- Fixed the FFA hud not displaying correctly if you changed your fullscreen scale.

Here's the v2.5.1 changelog:

- Added a new page to the PvP list: "Manual". This allows you to enter in the ID of
a user to invite them manually rather than using the list.
- Added a new save sound effect.
- Added the ability to exchange glitch tickets for gold once you have already
gotten every partner.
- Lowered the requirement to summon a corruption battle from the clam follower,
from 5 glitch tickets down to 3 glitch tickets.
- Fixed an issue where the PvP lists weren't loading.
- Fixed an issue where you would see "INVITE SENT TO 0!" in the PvP list when there
was a connection hiccup.
- Fixed a visual bug where you could see one of the page cursors in the PvP list go
off-screen a bit.
- Fixed a bug where the wrong attacks would show up in PvP/corruption battles.
- Fixed a bug where you could get two attacks at once during a corruption battle.
- Fixed a bug where the Epic Shades and the Broken Locket did not have the correct
DEF values.
- Fixed a visual bug where your partner would not be cast in shadow in the
Judgement Hall.
- Fixed a visual bug where the save box looked weird with different fullscreen
scaling.
- Fixed a bug where resetting in multiplayer didn't work properly.
- Fixed a visual bug where Dance Dance Spaghetti looked really glitchy if you had
changed your fullscreen scaling.
- Fixed a visual bug where the in-game menu did not display correctly in the
Judgement Hall.
- Fixed a bug where you could get out of bounds from two of the exits in Snowdin
Town.
- Fixed a bug where if you weren't in the same room as a save point and used /save
it would show up in global chat.
- Fixed a visual bug where EXP and NEXT would not display "(MAX)" when you reached
LV 99 in the STAT menu.
- Fixed a bug where the player's sprite would change to grey Harlow when
approaching Gasterbot.
- Fixed a bug where trying to pose with default Harlow after switching to them
would make them just freeze in place. Harlow hasn't received a new pose yet, so for
now they don't have one.
- Fixed a bug where you couldn't select "DO NOT" on the reset screen in
Multiplayer.
- Fixed a bug where the pillars would layer weirdly in the Judgement Hall.
- Fixed an oversight where custom battle music was not affected by the Master
Volume setting. If you have your volume at 0, your custom battle music will not
play.
- Fixed a visual error where the vessel menu said that Quote had 1 costume. For
clarification, Quote does not have any costumes.
- Fixed a bug where going up the escalator in Alphys' lab would warp you to the
wrong location.
- Fixed a visual bug where the EQUIP menu looked odd when using fullscreen scaling.
- Fixed a visual bug where your partner and other players would appear over the
dark overlay at the end of the Alpha Ruins.
- You can no longer move on conveyors while you have the in-game menu open.
- Made Niko's local chat text sound a bit quieter.
- "Border Scale" in the Config menu can now go as low as 0.5x to help fit all
monitor sizes.
- In the Alpha Ruins, spikes will now go down when your partner steps over them (so
they no longer hurt their feet).
- Removed an experimental client-side cheat checker that was giving false
positives.
- Removed some rooms that aren't finished so that you can't accidentally spawn in
them.

Here's the v2.5.0 changelog:

- Added new overworld graphics to give the game a fresh new look! The Ruins,
Snowdin, Waterfall, Hotland, and New Home have all received a huge makeover!
- Added new UI designs. The visual presentation of the game has received a major
upgrade. It still keeps the familiar traits of Undertale's design, but adds a lot
of visual flair to make it a little more snazzy and clean. I hope you like it!
- Added a new PARTNER system! It is now possible to unlock characters to follow you
in the overworld. All 53 vessels in the game can be unlocked as partners, so you
can have your favorite characters join you on your adventure! Each partner has a
"Friendship Level" that you can increase by using them in battles. Partners can
provide you with bonus EXP, GOLD, or even deal extra damage depending on their
certain trait! There are also partner bonuses if your vessel and your partner have
a particular connection (for example, using the Kris vessel and having Susie as
your partner will give you bonus EXP+G)! I hope you enjoy the new partners!
- Added new CORRUPTION BATTLES. These are very rare encounters that can occur after
you defeat a regular enemy. A warning message will play as the "corruption
approaches", and you'll enter a battle against one of the 53 vessels! If you defeat
them, you'll unlock that vessel as a partner! This is the main way to unlock them,
but you can also just "summon" a specific partner for 500000G, or you can make use
of new "glitch tickets" that come out of your daily gift (more info on that below).
- Added new categories to the ITEM menu. The categories are "ITEM", your regular
list of 8 item slots, "EQUIP", which shows all of the weapon and armor chests
you've unlocked and allows you to switch equipment on the fly, and "KEY", which
shows important collectibles that you have gotten.
- Added a new SKILLS option in battles. Similar to spells from Deltarune, these
skills allow you to perform various actions that you can't do by simply fighting or
acting. Skills include being able to debuff the enemy's stats, being able to buff
your own stats, bribing the enemy to drop more G at the end of a fight, decreasing
attack lengths, gaining movement speed, etc. To use Skills, you'll need to make use
of a new stat called "EN".
- Added a new stat: ENERGY, or "EN" for short. This stat is earned similarly to TP
in Deltarune, by getting close to bullets ("grazing" them) during enemy attacks.
With enough EN, you can spend them on Skills to shift the tide of battle in your
favor. Over time, you'll be able to upgrade your EN and Skills using a new BOOST
system!
- Added a new BOOST system. Every time you "graze" a bullet during a battle and
gain some EN, you also earn some boost points! With enough boost points, you'll
achieve an EN BOOST and be given the option to either upgrade your maximum EN, or
upgrade one of your nine skills!
- Added a new vessel menu! The old vessel menu has now been replaced with an
upgraded design that organizes it much more clearly and makes selecting a vessel
even faster than before, with a new grid-based selection system (kind of like a
fighting game).
- Added borders! You can now toggle borders like in the console releases of
Undertale! There's brand new artwork for all of them, so they look very pretty! If
your monitor's aspect ratio is not 16:9, you might run into a problem with scaling,
so there's a new "Border Scale" option in the Config menu so that you can adjust
them to your liking!
- Added Harlow's new sprites! The default design for Harlow has now been updated to
their DF STORY MODE design! Harlow's Dark World design has also been added as a
costume! The classic Harlow design is still useable as a costume, bringing Harlow's
total costume count to 5, the highest of any vessel!
- Redesigned the HUB ROOM with a completely new layout and upgraded sprites! There
are also new signs with the rules and useful information about the game right at
the entrance, so please give those a read!
- Redesigned the SAVE points. They now have a rainbow effect rather than being just
yellow. The rainbow effect is a reference to the SAVE button during a certain boss
battle in Undertale. The SAVE menu has also been changed with a new layout and
aesthetic.
- Added new attacks for Tsunderplane and Vulkin to replace their old ones. Rudinn
has also received a new attack as well!
- Added a new "Global PvP" option! When you open up the PvP list, you will notice
that there are two tabs: "LOCAL PVP" and "GLOBAL PVP". Local PvP works as it did
before, with you being able to invite someone in the same room as you. Global PvP
allows you to invite someone from anywhere in the whole game! However, Global PvP
is still experimental, and if it proves to not work consistently then it could be
removed. But for now, let me know what you think!
- Added new features to Undernet! Undernet has received an upgraded design to
create a more consistent aesthetic, and Undernet profiles now have two pages, with
the first page being like it was before, and the new second page containing
information about the player's current partner. The second page is also home to a
new feature: CUSTOM ARTWORK!
- Added the ability to draw CUSTOM ARTWORK for your Undernet profile! You can now
create custom pixel art within the game itself using Undernet's new "Draw" option
on the homepage, which you can then display on your Undernet profile! However, keep
in mind that we WILL take action if you misuse this feature for inappropriate
artwork though, so keep it clean!
- Added a new "Safety Mode". This is recommended for younger players, as having it
enabled will censor swear words in global and local chats, disable the direct
message feature, and disable custom artwork.
- Added the ability to "block" other users. If someone is sending messages in
global or local chat that bothers you or makes you uncomfortable, you can block
them by going to your CELL menu, navigating to "BLOCKING", and then you can enter
the user ID of whoever you wish to block. Blocking them will replace their messages
with "(This user is blocked)". You can unblock them again at any time.
- Added a new minigame: DANCE DANCE SPAGHETTI. What started as a joke about Harlow
being in Friday Night Funkin' has resulted in a new DDR-style minigame that allows
you to create YOUR OWN CUSTOM CHARTS, complete with custom music, which you can
share with other players! Making a custom chart is as easy as selecting a music
file from your computer, and then tapping the arrow keys to the rhythm of the song!
Your chart gets saved as a file, so you can upload the chart and music files
somewhere and allow other players to download and play them! (Please be careful if
you decide to download custom charts, the DF team is not responsible for user-
generated content!) This minigame replaces "Spaghet Clicker", so you can play it by
using the computer in Papyrus' room. If you liked Spaghet Clicker for some reason,
then don't worry, you can still play it in the secret spaghetti room (if you know
where that is).
- Added the ability to earn pogs and new "glitch tickets" from your Daily Gift.
These "glitch tickets" can be spent at a Clam Goner NPC in Waterfall, who will
summon a corruption battle for you in exchange for 5 glitch tickets.
- Added a "Master Volume" option in the game's settings menu, so that you can
adjust the game's volume to your liking!
- Added the option to toggle your control scheme from ARROW KEYS to WASD from the

for movement, so it's finally been added!
- Added a new health meter to the battle system that shows the enemy's SOUL being
cracked the more you hurt them.

effects such as snowflakes in Snowdin, flowing water in Waterfall, Gasterbot's
glitchy animations, or moving lights in Hotland to be enabled.
- Added a new first-time setup at the start of the game.
- Added the ability to toggle the Darkheart on and off after purchasing it.
- Added the ability to dash in Splat2D to make dodging enemies less tedious.

zapfish.

has also been officially changed to "Foul Monster".
- Added new attacks to the Bad Tom fight to replace the old ones. They have also
been given a new battle sprite.
- Added new emotes for Gold Frisk, Chara, Sans, Papyrus, and Asriel to use in local
chat.
- Added a table in the Snowdin Librarby so that there's a place to "sit" in there.
- Added a new command, "/save", which you can use when you're in the same room as a
save point so that you can save from any point within that room.
- Added a door to the Free-For-All minigame in the Hub Room so that its more easily
accessible.
- Added the ability to use Undernet in Offline Mode! This will allow you to make
use of the DarknerNet, so you can revive bosses and get the Darkheart.
- Added new hurt sprites for Rudinn and Hathy.
- Added a new Credits sequence (currently only accessible via the Extras menu),
complete with new music by Perpetrator.
- Added a new Game Over sequence to replace the old one, featuring voice clips of
your favorite characters encouraging you to try again (or being amused by your
death)!
- Added a new trophy for defeating all of the bonus bosses (Foul Monster, Bad Tom,
and Gasterbot).
- Gave Grillby's a new layout so that it can seat more people.
- Shops have been improved. Items now have unique descriptions that will be
displayed above them when they're selected.
- The old "Master Quest" worlds have been repurposed as new "Lost Worlds". Their
locations have been moved, but there are hints in the overworld as to where they
are.
- The Followers have been moved to the Lost Worlds, so their old rooms are no
longer accessible.
- Redesigned the GUI for DF Mobile to make the buttons look nicer and have a
cleaner presentation. The GUI now also starts at a lower opacity by default.
- Decreased the amount of spares/LV required to unlock the later weapons and armors
in the game.
- Moved two weapons that were previously found in the retired Master Quest worlds
to other locations in the main overworld. These weapons are the "RUSTY KNIFE" (ATK
4) which is now located in Snowdin, and the "WOODEN BAT" (previously known as
"BLOODY BAT", ATK 6) which is now located in Waterfall.
- Nerfed the Master Sword and Epic Shades from 250 ATK/DEF to 125 ATK/DEF, nerfed
the Tem Armor from 500 DEF to 200 DEF, and nerfed the True Knife and Broken Locket
from 999 ATK/DEF to 250 ATK/DEF. Still powerful, but not ridiculously so.
- Removed the requirement to collect puzzle pieces to progress in Offline Mode.
There is still the reward for collecting all of them, though!
- Pacifists are now able to get the "LV crowns" (the crown icons you get on the
STAT menu for getting LV 20 and LV 99) based on how many spares they have gotten.
- It is no longer possible to get the failsafe win condition within the first 15
seconds of PvP, to help prevent an issue where players with a slower connection
would win a fight immediately.
- Improved dialogue boxes so that Sans' text is better spaced out.
- Changed the default soul color to red instead of purple, to match with the
updated lore coming in v3.0.0.
- The attack bar when FIGHTing now has its speed dictated by your weapon rather
than the speed being random. The better your weapon is, the faster the bar will be.
- In DF Mobile, the "Quest" button has now been replaced with a "PvP" button.
Pressing this will bring up the PvP list so that you no longer have to type out the
command to access it.
- The bullet box now changes its color from white to green for battles in the Dark
World, to match the color of the bullet box from Deltarune.
- The "Tem Key" is no longer a regular item. Instead, it is placed in the "KEY"
category of your items menu and can only be purchased once, so you no longer have
to waste an item slot to keep it. If you already own a tem key, it will be removed
from your "ITEM" menu and put into your "KEY" menu automatically.
- The encounter transition has been sped up so that battles now start way quicker.
- You can now always see the name of your opponent in the top left during a PvP
fight (useful for reporting if neccessary).
- Pacifists (LV 1) are no longer affected by the damage cap of each area, so
they'll no longer have to take more than 1 DMG even with good armor like they did
previously.
- Fixed a bug where your SOUL would still be considered "moving" in battle if you
were pressing against the bullet board wall, allowing you to bypass orange attacks
without actually moving.
- Fixed a bug where Woshua's soap would often get stuck on the sides of the box for
a few frames.
- Fixed a visual error where the bullet box would awkwardly "snap" into position
after moving during battle.
- Fixed a bug where players couldn't send stuff like "..." or "!!!" or "???" as
messages in local chat.

- Fixed a bug where certain enemies would crash due to having no text for their
speech bubble.

- Fixed a bug where you couldn't use [Z] to confirm a custom seed for the
Starwalker minigame.
- Fixed a visual error where Foul Monster's boil line animation did not play.
- Fixed a visual error where the "Choco Diamond" item would have its name be too
long in the item menu during battle. Its name now gets shortened to "C.Diamond" in-
battle.
- Buffed Mandarina's HP a bit.
- Even though Mandarina's fight is getting touched up for v3.0.0, you can still
play the Mandarina fight from previous versions by interacting with the lamp in her
den.
- While the new subareas are getting worked on for v3.0.0's Story Quest, you will
notice some paths being blocked by traffic cones. These will be removed in v3.0.0
when the new subareas are complete.
- Lowered the volume of "Rude Buster X" a bit, as it was quite loud compared to the
other tracks in the game.
- Replaced Lonely Girl's PvP theme with "Be Brave!" from Dweller's Empty Path.
- Changed the "Max out PvP LV for each vessel" trophy to "Earn RANK X in PvP", so
the trophy is no longer a monumental task.

was cool at first but lost its purpose and is no longer canon.
- You can no longer instakill an enemy that is a higher level than you via a
betrayal kill.
- Rewrote some of the game's engine for improved efficiency.
- Removed the following nametag styles: "Box with LV", "Box with Rank", "Simple
Box". This is because these nametags didn't look very good and cluttered the
screen.
- Other minor tweaks and changes.

Here's the v2.4.3b changelog:

- Fixed a bug where encounters were not working correctly in Waterfall, Hotland,
and the Beta Void.
- Fixed an oversight where two certain vessels were not renamed in Discord Rich
Presence.
- Fixed a bug where the controls on the mobile port might have been created twice,
potentially causing control issues.
- Fixed a bug when starting a fresh Offline Mode game (not a reset, a brand new
game) wouldn't give you the Flowey opening cutscene.
- Increased the rate of gold/diamond enemies if you have gotten 20 of each type of
pog.

Here's the v2.4.3 changelog:

- Added additional moderation measures to the game.
- Added redesigned menu buttons for the battle system GUI! These were made for
v2.5.0, but since I'm doing a new patch I thought I might as well add these in now.
- Added username lookup functionality to the Undernet search page. When you're
searching for someone, usernames that match what you're typing will now show up in
a list you can browse through, so you can look up names even if you don't know
exactly what they are.
- Added a new music track, "Rude Buster X" by Lone-R, to replace the original "Rude
Buster".
- Added a new music track, "Chilly" by Perpetrator, to replace "Snowy".
- Added a new music track, "Autumn Breeze" by Perpetrator, to replace "Quiet
Autumn".

"Scarlet Forest".

Castle".
- The YOU WON message at the end of a battle will now tell you how much EXP you
need until the next LV, or how many spares you currently have.
- Added a new "Turbo" setting for the Enemy Encounters toggle that increases the
rate of battle encounters drastically. However, it can only be used if you're above
LV 10, or at LV 1 and have over 100 spares!
- Added account guidelines to the login screen. The guidelines are: No offensive
slurs in your name, no impersonation attempts, and no names that only use random
numbers. These three guidelines are what we expect all accounts to follow. If your
account breaks any of these guidelines, you may want to consider creating a new
account.
- Added a prompt when you select "Reset" in the Multiplayer login screen to confirm
that you really want to reset your profile save data before it does it.
- When you find/purchase a pog, it will now display the sprite of the pog you found
instead of just telling you its name.
- Changed the color of the DF Mobile UI from purple to white to make it easier to
see on dimmer screens.
- Made improvements to local chat internally, so that messages are now filtered for
rule compliance before they're sent to everyone.
- Gave certain Chara and Asriel AU skins temporary redesigns until they get their
finalized designs in v2.5.0, so they're no longer directly from a pre-existing AU.
- Changed the layout of the Main Menu so that all of the options are right there
from the start for quicker access, and added a new "Where's Story Mode?" option.
(The menu will be redesigned for v2.5.0!)
- Fixed a bug where the game would tell you that there's a new update when there
actually wasn't.
- Fixed a bug where sometimes a player's name would not display in local chat.
- Selecting "Respawn" on the Game Over screen will now always send you back to the
start room.
- Updated to the latest GameMaker Server version for Multiplayer improvements.
- Other minor improvements.

Here's the v2.4.2 changelog:

- Added a new rainbow variety of pogs. To turn a pog into a rainbow type, you need
to collect 99 of it. It's mostly just for fun if you like collecting pogs, but if
you do decide to get all rainbow pogs, you will be guaranteed to get a gold enemy
every single encounter in a gold grind room.
- Added two new pog holes, one in New Home and one in the Dark World, so now
there's 6 holes to search for each day instead of just 4!
- Added a new option to buy 10 Undercoins at once in Undernet, so you no longer
have to buy 1 Undercoin at a time.
- Added back the ability to click on other players to view their profiles (PC
version only).
- The pog holes now respawn 16 hours after collecting them instead of 20, making it
more convenient.
- Gold enemies will now have a greater chance of spawning outside of gold grind
rooms if you've gotten every diamond pog.
- Fixed a bug where players were unable to join after creating a new account due to
a crash.
- Fixed a bug where searching for other players' profiles on Undernet would crash
the game.
- Fixed a bug where LV 99 players weren't receiving G from enemy encounters.
- Fixed a bug where Joker's battle theme would still play on the "But nobody came"
screen.
- Other minor improvements.

Here's the v2.4.1 changelog:

- Added a new collectible: "pogs". Each day you log in, four holes in the ground
will be randomly placed across the overworld. If you search for them and dig them
up, you will find a pog buried in them, which will be added to your pog collection.
There are 24 different pogs to collect, and collecting multiples of the same one
will upgrade it from Bronze to Silver, Gold, and Diamond!
- Added a new "gachapog" machine in the MTT Hotel that will allow you to purchase
pogs for 250G each. This might be useful for completionists, if you're willing to
spend G to increase your pog collection.
- Added the ability to increase the spawnrate of rare diamond enemies by roughly
30%. To do this, you'll need to earn all diamond pogs. When you collect 20 of a
single pog, it upgrades into a diamond pog. Do this for all of them and you'll get
higher chances of finding diamond enemies!
- Added a new "Collection Total" stat in the View Progress menu. This will tell you
roughly how much of your total collection (Chests + Bestiary + Pogs) that you've
completed, in a percentage format.
- Added a preventative measure to ensure DMs won't crash the game if their values
aren't sent correctly.
- Added a new system that periodically checks to make sure you're connected to the
game correctly, which will help prevent the rare issue where sometimes players were
put into an empty game.
- Removed the sessions system completely. The game has now returned to having only
one large session that all players connect to. The new intro that was used for the
sessions has been kept though, albeit changed a bit.
- Replaced some of the trophies in Offline Mode with different ones, since they
were impossible to get because they required features only found in Online Mode.
- Fixed a bug where the MERCY button would stay yellow if you selected "Spare" too
quickly.
- Fixed a bug where you could get into a PvP fight while in mid-air on the Hotland
vents, allowing you to stay out-of-bounds after the fight ended.

Here's the v2.4.0b changelog:

- Added the ability for pacifists to earn the "Buy everything from
Undernet/Darknernet Trophy" by unlocking everything except EXPx and the Darkheart.
Those who are not pacifists will still need these to get the trophy.
- Fixed a bug where armor did not always work for pacifists.
- Fixed a bug where the new bone attack did not sync correctly and would spawn in
the wrong battles, causing it to seem like two attacks were happening at the same
time.
- Fixed a bug where you could enter longer text for a DM than you should have been
able to.
- Removed the new signs in the PvP room and increased the required HP to activate
the win failsafe in PvP.
- Nerfed Mandarina's ATK by 2.
- The "multiple copies of the game" check now only occurs if you're connected to
Multiplayer.
- The game no longer forces fullscreen during PvP.

Here's the v2.4.0 changelog:

- Added a new Session system to the game. Multiplayer is now divided into three
different "sessions", which you'll be automatically placed into one after logging
in. You will only be able to see and interact with players in the same session as
you. This is to help the relieve the load on the server, improving the overall
performance of the game.
- Added a new "spare" counter for pacifists. The game will now keep track of how
many enemies you've spared, which you can view in STAT, and there is also a new
"spare" leaderboard exclusively for pacifists!
- Added in the ability for pacifists to unlock all of the weapon and armor chests!
If you're at LV 1, interacting with chests will tell you how many enemies you need
to spare in order to open them. The LV 20 trophy has also been given a pacifist
variant for getting a certain number of spares. Now pacifists can 100% the game,
too!
- Added in the ability for pacifists to unlock all of the weapon and armor chests.
If you're at LV 1, interacting with chests will tell you how many enemies you need
to spare in order to open them. The LV 20 trophy has also been given a pacifist
variant for getting a certain number of spares. Now pacifists can 100% the game,
too!
- Added a new "direct message" (DM) system to Undernet! You can now send a private
DM to an Undernet friend. Just look up your friend's profile, and you'll be able to
press [ENTER] to start typing a message. This is useful if you want to tell your
friend to meet you somewhere, for example. You can use the command "/toggledm off"
to turn off DMs if you don't want them to pop up.
- Added a new Trophy Room! You can access it from the Hall of Fame, and in it you
can view all of the trophies you've earned! There is a pedestal for each trophy,
with a description you can read so you can check what you need to do to earn them!
This also means that trophies are now available in Offline Mode too.
- Added new icons to the ITEM menu. You can now see little icons next to the names
of your items to see a visual representation of what the item is. This was mainly
added as a feature for Story Mode, which is in development.
- Added a new win condition to PvP. If at any point during the battle your opponent
went below 33 HP, you will automatically win the fight if they disconnect from the
game. So now, even if someone rage-quits, you will still earn the win from them if
the fight progressed far enough!
- Added a brand new overworld track for the CORE area, remixed by Ethosein!
- Added new rooms to the CORE to make it a slightly larger area, and to add a
little bit of world-building for the Master Quest story. Some pre-existing rooms
have also been redesigned.
- Added a new second attack for Hathy, so that it isn't the same spinning heart
attack every time. Speaking of the spinning heart attack, it has now been made
slightly shorter so that you're less likely to get an "unavoidable hit".
- Added a new animation for the damage value in the battle system UI, which makes
it appear like its "shooting out" of the enemy, then fades away. It gives your
attacks a bit more of a kick!
- Added the ability to see all of the vessels you've acquired so far in Offline
Mode on its menu screen. Similar to how the original Undertale shows characters on
the main menu as you progress in the game, vessels in Offline Mode will now be
standing around on the menu as you unlock them.
- Added visual clues to the locations of the three followers in the overworld, so
that their location are less cryptic.
- Added a new Theovania cover made by Perpetrator for Underfell Sans' PvP theme.
- Added a new way to spare the "Bad Tom" boss. A new ACT command has been added to
his fight, which will allow you to spare him if you use it enough.
- It is now possible to kill the "Gasterbot" boss by betrayal-killing it.
- Tweaked the soul movement in battles so that now it can go right up against the
border instead of leaving a gap.
- Updated Harlow's PvP sprite with a new design.
- Updated the multiplayer rules. Be sure to read the Help Guide to familiarize
yourself with them!
- Removed the ability to go back after selecting "Login/Register".
- Removed "Bob Armor" from the game, as pacifists now have access to all armor.
Instead, it is now the "Tem Armor", the second most powerful armor in the game at
500 DF. If you had the Bob Armor before, it will be removed from your equipment.
- Removed a lot of old sprites from the game that were no longer needed.
- Buffed the Bone type in PvP. It now has a new attack and your opponent is only
able to gain a maximum of 10 TP per turn.
- Buffed the Electric type in PvP, specifically the electric wall attack now moves
and spawns faster.
- Nerfed the Fighting type in PvP, specifically the "knives from above" attack.
- Nerfed the Water type in PvP, specifically the fish bubble attack.
- Receiving a bank transfer now tells you the username of who sent the transfer.
- Joker's PvP theme (the Last Surprise Megalo) will now play as the battle theme in
regular enemy encounters while you're using Joker.
- Changed the friend request system so that it now asks you to add someone from the
Game Maker Server website instead of in-game.
- PvP fights are now forced to stay in fullscreen the entire time.
- Free-For-All is the only exception to the "Sessions" system. When playing in FFA,
you will be playing with every FFA player regardless of the session you came from,
allowing there to be more people on FFA.
- Fixed an exploit that allowed you to fight in PvP twice in a row.
- Fixed a rare visual bug where the third local chat message might still display
text even after the second message was cleared.
- Fixed a crash bug when fighting Alpha Toriel. Her attacks have also been buffed.
- Fixed a bug where the Game Over screen would not load correctly when dying to
Hathy.
- Fixed a bug where the AFK status would not turn off when hit by an overworld
attack.

reset your costume value, changing your local chat icon to the wrong one.
- Fixed a bug where the shop's inventory counter did not update correctly.
- Fixed a bug where the tem key would disappear if you used it in the overworld.
- Mobile controls now get highlighted in yellow when pressed, to make it easier to
tell what is being pressed.

efficient.
- Updated to a newer version of GMServer for security and performance improvements.

Here's the v2.3.0b changelog:

- Added a new "Loading Profile Data" screen when looking up someone on Undernet, to
hopefully fix the problem where it crashes.
- Changed the damage system. The minimal damage you can take from enemy encounters
is now dependent on what area they're from, so now instead of taking only 1 damage
if you have good armor, dark world enemies will always deal at least 5 dmg, hotland
enemies will always deal at least 4 dmg, waterfall 3 dmg, etc...
- All previously purchased skins in the "Other" category from before v2.3.0
launched should now be back.
- The spawnrate of gold enemies within the Gold Grind rooms has been reverted to
its original rate in v2.2.1.
- Reduced the prices of items in Grillby's and the Bake Sale in the Dark World.
- Fixed a bug where alpha ruins enemies and missingno would cause your game to
crash.
- Fixed a bug where your HP was restored after every encounter.
- Fixed a bug where sans' local chat text was 1 pixel too low.
- Fixed a bug where you could try to quit the game on mobile but end up on offline
mode instead.
- Fixed a bug where you could make poses move faster.
- Other fixes and improvements.

Here's the v2.3.0 changelog:

- Added two new vessels to the AU category: "Ink!Sans" and "Error!Sans"! These two
have been highly requested for a long time, so they are now in! I'm aware that I
said "no more vessels", but I thought it'd be fun to try and add a few more to the
AU category. It is possible that there may be more vessels in the future, but it is
also possible that there might not be. Either way, I hope you like them!
- Added a brand new HUD design to PvP. Instead of a bunch of clunky text in the top
left, the HUD now shows icons for all of the different options, and even shows the
soul of your enemy selecting the options! It looks much better than it did before,
I hope you enjoy it!
- Added new animations for certain vessels in PvP: Chaos King, Underfell Papyrus,
Underswap Papyrus, Frisk, and Grillby all have new animations!
- Added a brand new PvP theme for Rouxls Kaard, which is a remix of "Hip Shop" from
Deltarune. It's more upbeat to make it suitable for a battle theme.
- Added an "OTHER GAME STATS" section in the Warp menu. Now on Page 2, it will tell
you how many players are currently in a PVP fight, how many are in the arcade, and
how many are in FFA.
- Added a new "View PvP Statistics" option to the Game Menu. In here, you'll be
able to view your PvP wins, your PvP losses, and your win rate (the percentage of
PvP fights that you win). You'll also be able to view/submit to a PvP wins
leaderboard.
- Added a new purchaseable upgrade in DarknerNet called the "DARKHEART". Once you
have bought all of the EXPx upgrades and are at LV 99, this new upgrade will appear
on the DarknerNet homepage and cost 5000 undercoins. Purchasing it will allow you
to continue getting enemy encounters again, as all enemies disappear when you reach
LV 99. You will not get EXP from killing enemies at LV 99, but if you wish to
increase your kill count or hunt for diamond enemies, then this upgrade is for you!
- Added new poses for Rudinn, Hathy, Jigsawry, Chaos King, The Rock, and Lonely
Girl.
- Added the ability for the kill count in your STAT menu to go above 9999. It will
now display your kills in the thousands (10k, 11k, 12k, etc...) once you've gone
over 9999.
- Added special text colors for the admins in local chat.
- Added security precautions in light of recent events. You may notice some
changes, for example local chat now shows the ID of the person who wrote the
message next to their name. Other measures have also been taken to ensure security.
- Made a major change to gameplay: HP is now no longer locked at 99. It now works
just like it does in regular Undertale, where you need to gain LV to increase your
HP. Your HP should automatically be set to the correct amount for the LV you
currently are, so don't worry about having to do anything or losing your LV.
Players at or above LV 20 aren't really affected by this. This also does not affect
PvP. From now on when you enter a PvP battle, your HP is automatically set to 99 in
order to make the fight balanced, then once the fight ends your HP will go back to
normal.
- Made a major change to PvP's timer system. Now, each turn can last up to 45
seconds, but if its your turn and you run out of time, the game will automatically
start the FIGHT sequence, so that you can't just force the other player to flee.
- Made a major change to how attacks are chosen in PvP. From now on, you should no
longer experience getting the same attack to dodge multiple times in a row, it
should be a different attack every time.
- Made a change to fleeing in PvP, so that there is now a cooldown timer when the
"Waiting for Player" message appears, that prevents you from spamming Z in an
attempt to flee the fight prematurely because of a brief desync.
- Redesigned the "View Progress" menu to be more compact, and it is now also where
you view your collections from, instead of them having their own option in the Game
Menu.
- Redesigned the long hallway in the True Lab to be a shorter room with actual
furniture and text to read. True Lab now also has the "Here We Are" theme playing
in it instead of just silence.
- Increased the Bob Armor's defense from 10 to 15, in order to help pacifists who
are now at 20 HP.
- Increased the cost of the "Other" vessels from 80 to 250 UC. They have all been
reset so you will need to rebuy them.
- Fixed a bug in PvP where you could get "ghost hit". You should no longer
experience this.
- Nerfed the Fire type in PvP, specifically the two fireball attacks.
- Buffed the Bone type in PvP, the cap of TP your opponents can earn from bone
attacks is now 15, and the attack with just the spinning bones has been made
faster.
- Buffed the Fighting type in PvP, specifically the knives spawning from above now
spawn faster, and the blue/orange swords now move/spawn much quicker, and they also
give TP.
- Buffed the Grass type in PvP, specifically the small leaf attack now spawns and
moves faster, and the growing grass attack now spawns the grass faster.
- Buffed the Water type in PvP, specifically the fish/bubble attack and the
diagonal water drop attack.
- Fleeing from battles in PvP no longer resets your win streak.
- Your HP now gets fully restored after winning a PvP fight.
- Increased the price of EXPx from 800 UC to 1000 UC.
- Increased the prices of healing items in all shops that sell them.
- Gold enemies have been made a bit rarer in gold grind rooms, as they were way too
frequent.
- Fixed a visual oversight where the Deltarune vessels in PVP were not filled in
with black, so you could see the background through them.
- Fixed a visual error where you could still see the number of EXPx you have bought
even after buying all of them, causing it to overlap the text.
- Fixed an oversight where Gold Frisk still used their old sprite in local chat.
- Fixed a bug where your HP would not be replenished after gaining LV in
Multiplayer.
- Fixed a bug where you could go afk while posing, allowing you to perform a glitch
where the pose will play at the incorrect speed.
- Fixed a bug where local chat would not go slightly transparent correctly every
time.
- Fixed a bug where Bob Armor could be used at LV 20 with 0 EXP.
- Fixed a visual bug where the Bounty menu background would not move along with the
text if you were on a conveyor.
- Fixed a visual error where Froglitch, Glitchsun, and Missingno's gold and diamond
varieties would not have the correct coloring.
- Fixed a visual error where Mandarina could appear as Gold or Diamond, but didn't
actually give extra rewards. This is now fixed so that Mandarina no longer appears
as gold or diamond.
- Fixed a bug where the game could crash if you left-clicked during a battle.
- Fixed a bug where you could rarely get stuck on a black screen after dying in-
battle.
- Fixed a bug where you could press Z and X at the same time when trying to spare
that would cause a crash.
- Fixed a bug where Rouxls' PvP LV wasn't being drawn correctly on the vessel menu.
- Fixed a bug involving armor defense values not working as intended. Gave enemy
encounters a slight buff in their ATK values to compensate for this.
- Fixed a bug where fleeing in Offline Mode would always show the purple soul
leaving and not the color you're using.
- Fixed a bug where the game over music would not play when you died in Offline
Mode.
- Fixed a bug where the kill counter was not displayed in Offline Mode.
- Changed the multiplayer menu to only display the minutes you've played and not
seconds.
- Changed the font of the "BLOCKED" message to make it more accurate and visually
appealing.
- Moved around some of the more obscure puzzle pieces in Offline Mode so that
they're easier to find.
- Lowered the price of the Ruins Gold Grind room to 1000G, and Snowdin's to 1500G.
- Reverted the new collision system back to the old one, as it wasn't stable enough
and allowed for clipping in specific instances.
- Removed the ability to "moonwalk", which is the act of holding all of the arrow
keys at the same time to stay in place and still get encounters.
- Made the "Flee" option now greyed out in PvP when you're not able to use it.
- Made improvements to Tsunderplane's battle sprite.
- Made improvements to Noelle's PvP sprite.
- Changed the login screen to go back using [ESC] instead of [CTRL], as it
prevented a few users with certain types of keyboards from entering their account
details correctly.
- Tsunderplane's plane bomb attack has been buffed.
- Removed the Sans outfit from FFA.
- Updated one of the signs in the Hall of Fame.
- Updated to the latest version of GMServer to improve performance.
- Made a slight change to some of sans' dialogue in Offline Mode.
- Other minor improvements and fixes.

Here's the v2.2.1 changelog:

- Added a new sprite for Gold Frisk, as well as a new pose for them.
- Made it so the outline name style is now the default.
- Made the PvP win failsafe more reliable. It now repeatedly checks if you should
have won instead of just checking once when the "waiting for player" message
appears.
- Changed the Register box to be closed with ESC instead of ALT because some people
couldn't type @ because of it.
- Added extra information about how to invite people to PvP for mobile players.
Read the sign in the PvP room for more information specifically for mobile.
- Decreased the HP of monstertest and monstertest2.
- Hopefully fixed some possible errors with PvP.
- Reduced the chances of earning Undercoins from regular encounters, as the drop
rate was too high.
- Fixed a bug where you could still get the blue key.
- Fixed a bug where the description from the Undercoin trophy would appear
underneath the VIP trophy.
- Fixed a visual error where the save point in the Dark World's gold grind room
looked like the Undertale save point and not the Deltarune save point.
- Fixed the Temmie vessel having too big of a hitbox.
- Fixed a visual bug where the DarknerNet menu wouldn't say you've purchased all
the EXPx's even when you did.
- Fixed a bug where you could search for your own profile on Undernet and get
jumbled stats.
- Fixed a visual bug where Diamond Froggit would still have a gold head.
- Fixed a few broken collisions.

Here's the v2.2.0 changelog:

- Added DIAMOND ENEMIES. Gold enemies now have a VERY, VERY rare chance of spawning
as a diamond enemy instead! They give 5x the usual rewards, so get searching!
- Added a new Bestiary. The "View Collection" option in the GAME menu has been
changed to "View Collections". You can choose to view your Armor/Weapon collection
or your Bestiary. The Bestiary shows all of the enemies you have encountered so
far, including all of the varieties like regular, gold, and diamond, as well as how
many of each you've found.
- Added a new trophy for completing the entire bestiary, bringing the total number
of obtainable trophies to 22.
- Added a failsafe for PvP that should hopefully fix the issue where winning the
fight wouldn't register. This error is most likely due to poor connection by the
other player, which is why it doesn't always happen, but the new failsafe should
make it so that after 5 seconds of inactivity on the waiting screen, if the game
has reason to believe that the other player has lost (checking what room they're
in, what their HP is, etc.), you will automatically win. PvP seems to have been
getting more stable over time anyway, but this should hopefully help regardless.
- Added the ability to send a friend request on DF Mobile. Go to their Undernet
profile and press [C] to send a request.
- Added the ability to see someone's player ID on their Undernet profile. It will
be displayed over their character icon.
- Added save points in all of the gold grind rooms for convenience.
- Added a hint that the entrance into the true lab is not the door in Alphys' lab.
- Added text when interacting with the arcade building on mobile that informs
mobile users that the arcade is only on PC.
- Added a fail-safe to the battle encounter transition so that if it gets stuck, it
will automatically cancel the battle after 15 seconds and give you back control. It
will also check to make sure that your opponent is still online before you enter
PvP.
- Added a hotkey for bounties, just press [B] to bring them up.
- Added a new pose for the Varik vessel.
- Changed the Register screen to use [ALT] to go back instead of [CTRL] as some
people stated they couldn't type @ because of it.
- Buffed the Fighting type in PvP, specifically the knives from above attack, and
the blue/orange swords attack.
- Buffed the Water type overall, with attacks that are a bit faster and less easy.
- Buffed the Electric type in PvP, specifically the attack with the walls of
electricity. They now move and spawn faster.
- Buffed the Bone type in PvP, specifically the fact that your opponent could gain
way too much TP because of the bone tunnels, so now TP caps at 20 per turn for
people fighting against bone.
- Buffed the Grass type in PvP, specifically the small leaves attack, which now
moves faster.
- Nerfed the Fire type in PvP, specifically the fireball attacks that shoot from
the bottom and the sides.
- Nerfed the Fighting type in PvP, specifically the fist attack being unfair with
slow spell. Fists now move a bit slower.
- Nerfed the Grass type in PvP, specifically the stick spell being unfair with slow
spell. The sticks now provide a bit more space to move through.
- Nerfed the Rudinn encounter in the Dark World so that less bullets spawn.
- Fixed a bug where you could go out of bounds in Alphys' lab.
- Fixed a bug where you could still tap on other people to view their Undernet
profiles while using chat in DF Mobile.
- Fixed a bug where it was possible to crash when attempting to spare in PvP.
- Fixed an oversight where Undernet profiles still said you could DM friends, but
this is not a feature of the game.
- Fixed a bug where there was a long pause after Hathy's heart-shape attack was
over.
- Fixed a bug where fireballs from another PvP fight going on at the same time
would flicker in for a frame.
- Fixed a bug where there was a slim chance of crashing when warping due to a local
chat being sent at the same time.
- Fixed a bug where it was possible to get gold rewards from bosses, despite bosses
not being able to have gold varieties.
- Fixed a bug where it was sometimes possible to crash when searching for a user on
Undernet. It should now close Undernet instead of crashing the game if someone's
profile couldn't be read correctly.
- Fixed a bug where PVP LV was not earned correctly.
- Fixed a bug where a certain star wasn't spawning correctly in Snowdin.
- Fixed a bug where you didn't get double the rewards from gold enemies in Offline
Mode.
- Fixed a bug where your game could crash if you got an enemy encounter right as
you're about to leave the room.
- Fixed a bug where the secret room added in v2.1.0 didn't display correctly on
mobile devices.
- Fixed a bug where using the tem key in the overworld crashed the game.
- Fixed a bug where the Alpha Ruins weren't displaying correctly on DF Mobile.
- Fixed a bug where pressing the menu key while the GAME menu was open would close
the c menu but keep the game menu open.

Here's the v2.1.0 changelog:

- Updated the GMServer version to hopefully make the game a bit more stable.
- Added a new secret room. I won't say where it is, but I will say that it's a
teaser for what's to come to Story Mode in v3.0!
- Added descriptions to all of the trophies you earn in Multiplayer. Hover over
them with your mouse on the login menu for a brief description of what they're for!
- Added new poses for Void!Harlow and Mario!Harlow. Annoying Dog has also received
a new pose.
- Added a save point in the PvP room so that you don't need to keep running back
and forth to the Ruins to heal up.
- Added Deltarune-style backgrounds to all Deltarune characters in PvP.
- Attempted to buff Grass and Water types, and slightly nerfed Fire type for PvP.
- Fixed a bug where a crash would occur when a local chat message was not received
correctly.
- Fixed a bug where you could hear the knives being spawned in other PvP battles.
- Fixed a bug where Asriel's vessel menu said he had 0 costumes instead of 1.
- Fixed a bug where the Game Over screen was not visible in FFA.
- Practice Mode is no longer available in FFA for the time being.
- Fixed a bug where a certain fire attack wasn't spawning correctly in PvP.
- Fixed a bug where the soul could go out of bounds during a PvP fight when a
desync occured.
- Fixed a bug where you could accidentally spawn in the wrong room. These rooms now
lead back to the main hub room.
- Fixed a bug where reading the book in Sans and Pap's house in Offline Mode would
crash the game.
- Fixed a bug where you couldn't use the d-pad on a controller correctly in
Mandarina's fight.
- Fixed a bug where the game would rarely crash when trying to log in.
- Fixed a bug where it was possible for a wrong damage value to get sent in PvP and
inflict too much damage.
- Fixed a bug where you could get stuck in World 3 of Master Quest.
- Fixed a bug where the yellow soul appeared upside-down when it shouldn't be.

Here's the v2.0.0 changelog:

- Added a completely new overworld! You will now start in a "hub room" with doors
to all 6 of the new areas! The Ruins, Snowdin, Waterfall, Hotland, New Home, and
the Dark World from Deltarune have been added into the game. They aren't direct
copies from the games, they have brand new layouts, secret rooms, and even some
unique minibosses!
- Added a TON of new vessels! There are now 46 vessels in the game (and if you
include costumes, there's even more!), divided into categories based on where they
came from! In v1.3.3 there were 24 vessels, so that means the number of vessels has
pretty much doubled!
- Added many new enemies to fight! In the new areas, you'll encounter familiar
monsters from Undertale, but with a new look and new variations of their attacks!
No longer will you be fighting only Froggits and Whimsuns! There are now 17
different enemies in the game! There are also golden versions for most of them,
which give double the amount of G and EXP!
- Added support for mobile devices, as DF now has an Android port! It's available
right now, simply go on your phone/tablet, and download the android port from the
GameJolt page directly onto your device. Since it is a .apk file, your device will
probably ask you if you want to allow unknown apps. Allow the app and you'll now be
able to play DF on the go! PC and Mobile are cross-platform, so PC and mobile
players will be playing together! Your multiplayer save from PC will be the same on
mobile, so you can continue your adventures anywhere!
- Added a new feature: Poses! Press [2] or [D] to perform a pose or dance as the
vessel you're playing as (if it has one). Unlike in DF Classic, you can still use
chat while you're posing/dancing, so I hope you enjoy using it!
- Added a new feature: PVP! That's right, "player vs player" fights are now in the
game! The PvP system is brand new and fixes all of the problems that DF Classic's
PvP had, as well as improving upon it in many ways. PvP fights are turn-based, each
player will take a turn to damage their opponent by using the FIGHT option. After
damaging your opponent, they will dodge an attack. You will be able to watch your
opponent dodging the attack in real time, the attack itself will be visible so you
can see exactly what they're dodging. After they finish dodging, it will be their
turn to damage you, and then you'll need to dodge an attack. Each player can
inflict a maximum of 5 damage from using the FIGHT option. Additional damage is
caused by the bullet attacks, so if you want the edge over your opponent you'll
need to be good at dodging. On top of this, there is also a TP meter. Getting close
to bullets while dodging will fill up your TP meter, allowing you to cast spells.
Spells include "slowdown", "confusion", and "healing". All 46 vessels are useable
in PvP, and they all have their own "PvP level". Win PvP battles with a vessel to
increase its PvP level. The higher your PvP level, the higher your gold reward is
at the end of the fight!
- Added a new feature: UNDERNET! You can access it by pressing [U] on your
keyboard. With UNDERNET, you can customize your own unique profile that other
players can look at! You can purchase new backgrounds for your profile using a
brand new currency called UNDERCOINS! You can exchange 10G for 1 UNDERCOIN, or you
can grind to randomly earn them too! Besides viewing other players' profiles and
editing your own, there's also a live activity feed on the homepage so you can see
when other players update their status, earn LOVE, win a PVP fight, etc!
- Added a new feature: DARKNERNET! This is a secret part of the UNDERNET that you
need to unlock. With DARKNERNET, you can use your UNDERCOINS to purchase a variety
of useful things, including EXP multipliers, special vessels from other games, and
boss rematches!
- Added a new feature: boss rematches! Upon unlocking DarknerNet, you can revive
bosses in exchange for undercoins. You can choose which boss you want to revive,
pay the price, and then they'll be available to fight again! For example, if you
want to refight the hidden "Bad Tom" boss, you can pay the price to revive him, and
then if you head back to his secret hideout you can fight him again! You can revive
a boss as many times as you want, as long as you have enough undercoins to do so.
- Added a new feature: Trophies! Completing various tasks will reward you with
trophies on the multiplayer menu screen. Good luck with your collections ;)
- Added a new feature: ENEMY LVs! There are a variety of new enemies to fight now,
so to provide a better sense of progression in the game, every enemy encounter in
multiplayer (except bosses) now have an LV assigned to them. Depending on how much
higher their LV is compared to yours, they'll be able to block most or all of your
attempts to attack them. You will need to gain LV from lower-leveled enemies in
order to fight higher-leveled enemies. Enemies in the Ruins have the lowest LV, so
you can start there and work your way up. If you already have a high LV, this
probably won't affect you too much. You'll be able to see the LV of an enemy next
to their healthbar in the FIGHT menu. If you're a pacifist, enemy LV does not
impact your ability to spare enemies to grind for G, so you can continue to do
that.
- Added a new feature: Daily Gifts! Every day you log into DF, you'll receive a
daily gift! A pop-up will appear in the top right informing you that you have a
gift waiting, and you'll need to use the command "/dailygift" to open it. Inside
the daily gift will be a random amount of gold and undercoins. After opening it,
you will receive your next gift 24 hours (1 day) later. If you miss a day, gifts
don't stack up (meaning you aren't able to have more than 1 gift at a time), so if
you want to get the most out of daily gifts, remember to pop in from time to time!
- Added a new feature: Banking! The shop in Snowdin Town has been replaced with a
bank. In this bank, you can deposit and withdraw G from your bank balance. This is
useful if you want to set aside some G, or if your wallet gets too full and you
need to start putting some G away. You can also transfer money to another player
using the bank. Just type in their name, the amount you wish to send, and they will
receive it immediately. Keep in mind that the player you're sending money to needs
to be online!
- Added a bunch of brand new weapons and armors, located in chests in various
places throughout the overworld. Most weapon and armor chests now have a LV
requirement in order to open them. There is a new "Collection" menu which will show
you the weapons and armors you've found so far, and allow you to equip them on the
fly.
- Added a new intro to the Multiplayer mode! A familiar character will welcome you
back to the world of Undertale, and provide a bit of insight into what's been
happening and why the "Master Quest" is so important. You don't need to reset in
order to view the intro, it'll automatically play when you first login again.
- Added a new part of the Master Quest: "DELTA RUNES". Explore the brand new
overworld and locate all 6 pieces of the Delta Rune, allowing you to access the
final locked room in New Home (where the multiplayer finale will eventually be,
some day!)
- Added the ability to change your SOUL color! Open the Vessel menu and select
"Change SOUL". From here, you'll be able to choose from the 8 different soul colors
found in Undertale!
- Added a new OFFLINE MODE to Multiplayer. Similar to DF Classic, you can now have
a seperate save file specifically used for offline play, so you don't need to be
connected to the internet to experience the multiplayer content. Unlike DF Classic,
this game's Offline Mode still allows you to do the majority of Multiplayer's
content, including Master Quest. It's a good way to pass the time when there's no
internet!
- Added new leaderboards for LV and for Free-For-All mode. Reach for the top!
- Added a new map cycle system to Free-For-All mode! From now on, only one map is
accessible in FFA at a time, and the portals to other maps have been removed. This
is because FFA felt way too big with three large maps available at once and finding
other players was much harder, so now FFA should feel more intense as everyone is
in closer proximity to each other. The maps will cycle roughly every 2 hours, and
the FFA menu will tell you which map is the current one.
- Added improved gameplay to Free-For-All. Now, getting hit by a bullet deals 2
damage immediately. This is so that players who are good at dodging the attacks
still need to be careful not to get shot over and over, and makes heals from chests
more useful. Chests now also regenerate after 2 minutes, so that you can still keep
getting better stuff throughout your run.
- Added a prompt when pressing [R] that asks if you want to Warp or Respawn.
Selecting "Warp" will bring you to a new area warp screen which lets you warp to
areas you've already been to and tells you how many people are in each area, and
selecting "Respawn" will bring you back to the hub room.
- Added the ability to RESET your Multiplayer save. The option is now on the
multiplayer menu screen after you've logged in. Selecting it will immediately start
the game with reset stats. If you change your mind, just close the game without
saving, because if you do save, your previous save will be overwritten and gone
forever!
- Added Gold Grind Rooms! In DF Classic, there was a room where golden versions of
the enemies had a higher chance of spawning. This is now back in v2.0, but this
time there are 5 gold grind rooms! There is one in each area with enemies in it
(Ruins, Snowdin, Waterfall, Hotland, and Dark World). It costs 2000G to open each
door.
- Added new stuff to RicksterCraft: a day and night cycle, a GUN weapon which
allows you to shoot by right-clicking, and creepers that spawn at night. They don't
explode, but they shoot bullets and touching them drains your SCORE, so be careful!
Shooting Creepers will reward you with 25 points, so there is no longer a "limit"
to how high your score can get in RicksterCraft.
- Added events to the game. Similar to DF Classic, balloons and other decorations
will now cover the overworld during certain events like christmas, halloween,
valentines, etc.
- Added a brand new login screen. No longer does the game use the default GMServer
login window! This means that you won't need to use your mouse or the TAB key to
navigate the login screen anymore, just type in your username, press [ENTER], type
in your password, then press [ENTER] again to login, simple as that! You can still
register a new account through this new login screen as well! However, this feature
is only available in the PC release, you cannot register a new account on mobile,
you will need to go to the Game Maker Server website to do so. The new login screen
also looks pretty snazzy if I do say so myself.
- Added a new Extras menu, which includes early concept art made throughout the
game's development to look at, as well as a full history of DF's development from
2015 to 2020, including screenshots from older versions of the game!
- Added a drain effect to the enemy's HP bar when you attack them. This helps make
battles feel more dynamic.
- Added the ability to rename your weapon. Speak to Malius in the Dark World and he
will rename your weapon to whatever you choose! Renaming your weapon is for
cosmetic purposes only and doesn't impact the game, it's just for fun.
- Added the ability to disable random encounters. Just use the command "/encounters
off" to turn them off, and "/encounters on" to turn them back on. You can also
toggle it in the GAME menu.
- Added a sixth name style, which makes nametags look like just plain text, which
is how they looked in the original multiplayer demo! Just a bit of nostalgia for
those who've been here a while.
- Added a "Connection Lost" message that displays if the game loses connection to
the server while you're playing.
- Added the kitchen to Sans and Papyrus's house. This has been (jokingly) requested
since the early days of classic DF!
- Added the ability to go "AFK" (away from keyboard). Just use the command "/afk"
to activate it, which will put a speech bubble next to you saying "AFK" so other
players can know that you've gone away for a bit.
- Added an auto run feature. If you're tired of holding down X or SHIFT but still
want to keep running, use the command "/autorun on" to enable autorunning, which
will allow you to always be running even without holding X/SHIFT. Use "/autorun
off" to turn it off.
- Made a tweak to the attack bar so that damage values are now correctly aligned.
- Replaced Frisk's old sprites with brand new ones. The classic Frisk is now a
costume you can use instead.
- Same with Asriel, they've been redesigned and their classic look is now a
costume.
- Gave Chara a new costume: SUPREME CHARA. Dress up as classic Chara, but now with
an epic Supreme shirt (not sponsored)!
- Gave Mettaton three new costumes: his box form, his dress form, and his news
reporter form! Each of them also have their own poses!
- You can now cycle through the vessel select menu so that you don't have to spam
right to select a vessel towards the end of the list.
- Updated the How-to-Play guide to resemble the unused "Ralsei's Manual" from
Deltarune's files. It also has a lot of vital information about v2.0 so be sure to
read it! You can access it from the GAME menu, or by using the command "/help".
- Changed the Choice Box so that it now looks like the proper dialogue box with the
soul selector, rather than just a random box in the middle.
- You must now visit an area before you are able to warp to it in the Warp menu.
- Added the "/arcade" command so you can access the arcade minigames from anywhere.
However, this command only works once you've reached the area that the arcade is
actually located in.
- Redesigned the GAME OVER screen to look more like the original from Undertale.
- Fixed a bug where item descriptions and save text would not reposition itself to
the top of the screen if it blocked the player's view of themselves.
- Changed the Multiplayer start menu to display which room you last saved in.
- You can now skip text during battles.
- You can now encounter enemies faster by running.
- You are now able to flee from encounters again.
- You can no longer have more than one copy of the game running at a time. Trying
to open the game again while its already running will give you an error message!
Unlike DF Classic, you shouldn't have any problems where the game thinks it is
already running when it isn't, unless the game closed because of a crash. Report
any crash errors to RickyG on the official Discord.
- If you type in a command incorrectly or it doesn't exist, it will now play an
error noise instead of posting it like a regular message. No longer do you have to
be afraid of typing in a command wrong and looking silly!
- Expanded the locked LV rooms in the Master Quest worlds so that they aren't just
bland rooms with chests in them.
- "Metal Bat" weapon has been renamed to "Bloody Bat".
- Chat bubbles (the speech bubble that appears next to players when they're
talking) is now enabled by default, as many players didn't realize it was an
option. To turn them back off, use the command "/togglebubble".
- Discord Rich Presence will now state when a player is in the FFA menu but not in-
game yet.

(Everything else before v2.0.0 was part of the "DF Chapter 1" release from 2019,
and is no longer canon or part of DFC.)

I doubt you've read all the way to the bottom, but if you have, thank you!
Otherwise, hello anyway lol.
Thank you for playing!
