WELCOMING GUESTS USING SPANISH LANGUAGE

The travel industry is dominated by customer service, and hotel businesses live and
die by the satisfaction of their guests. As customer demands grow, so does the
complexity of delivering an experience they will be happy with. Many hoteliers learn
other language to communicate well with their customers. As hoteliers, it is important to
learn their language specially if you are working in Spanish-speaking countries. Read

Receptionist: Good afternoon Sir. Welcome to ABC Hotel. How can I help you?
Buenas tardes senor. Bienvenido al Hotel ABC. ¿Le puedo ayudar en algo?
Guest: I have a reservation for suite room for three nights.
Tengo una reserva de habitación suite por tres noches.
Receptionist: May I have your name Sir?
¿Puedo darme su nombre, señor?
Guest: I am Mr. Jose Sanchez from Barcelona.
Soy el Sr. José Sánchez de Barcelona.
Receptionist: Yes Sir. We have your details. You are Mr. Jose Sanchez of XYZ
Company from Barcelona. Welcome again to ABC Hotel. You booked a suite room for
three nights from 12th of December. Am I right Sir?
Sí, señor. Tenemos tus datos. Usted es el Sr. José Sánchez de la empresa XYZ de
Barcelona. Bienvenidos nuevamente al Hotel ABC. Ha reservado una habitación suite
por tres noches a partir del 12 de diciembre. ¿Estoy en lo cierto señor?
Guest: Yes Absolutely.
Si, absolutamente.
Receptionist: So, here is the registration card, but you do not need to fill up everything.
We will do that for you. Could you sign here at the bottom?

porter will take your luggage and show you the way.

Guest: I would like to pay by my visa card.
Me gustaría pagar con mi tarjeta Visa.
Receptionist: That is great Sir. Thank you. Have a great stay!
