(Deductive Method)

I. BEHAVIORAL OBJECTIVES: At the end of the lesson, 85% of the students should be able to:

1. state the main idea and key word in the sentence.


2. combine sentences using comma and conjunction and without changing the word.
3. construct sentences using the key words in a sentence.

Importance of using Deductive Method in Lesson Planning

Deductive method presents first the rule / generalization / theory / law and followed by
examples. It shows how the rule (for example) is being applied in the sentence and / or a situation.

This method is used in teaching Mathematical processes, English / Filipino correct usage, or
Physics law.
