Course structure
Lesson plans
There are 36 lessons in total for each course. Each lesson should take about 1 hour to teach
(depending on your class level, style, etc).
Teacher lesson plans are divided into four skills:
● Listening
● Reading
● Speaking
● Writing

There are nine lessons in each skill. Each lesson should take about 1 hour to teach (depending on
your class level, style, etc).

Each lesson teaches students how to approach the different parts of the TOEIC tests, using
example questions and practice in-class activities.

Student course
The student course features six sections.
● Listening
● Reading
● Writing
● Speaking
● Mock Tests
● Self-Study

Like the Lesson Plans, there are nine lessons for each skill. Each activity may take varying times
to complete based on the task complexity, level, and individual student needs.

In-class activities and Homework

These are also divided into Listening, Reading, Speaking and Writing activities.

In-class activities are the same practice activities as in the teacher lesson plans.

Homework activities follow on directly from the lesson plan, so Listening Homework 1 will contain
the same types of activities as those in Listening Lesson 1. These activities are for further
practice outside the classroom.

Self-study
These are additional practice activities for each part of the tests, giving students the opportunity
to further develop their skills and knowledge of English.
These activities can be done in the students’ own time and at their own pace as they do not
directly correspond to specific lessons. They are divided into Listening, Reading, Speaking and
Writing activities and arranged into test Parts. So all Listening Part 1 practice activities are
grouped together.
