to please stand up for the prayer. Prayer : praying of pupils
leader please start when your classmates are

: For checking of attendance may I request the

leaders of each column to stay in front and
report. (after reporting the attendance)

: Thankyou

A. Drill
Let the pupil watch a short video how to save earth’s resources.

Demonstrator Pupils Response

: Class, I have here a very short video to
present so that you will have an idea what
will be our lesson for today.

: All you need to do is to listen carefully.

Short video

: (earth’s resources, air, water, land. How to

save the earth’s resources)
Review
On the observe video that was presented. (the demonstrator will ask the pupils what
the video about.)

Demonstrator Pupils Response

: Class, what did you observe about the
video? :the importance of earth’s resources.

: on how it can sustain life

: Very good class, our lesson for today has a

connection to what you have answered a
while ago, so i would like to test further your
background information about our next
lesson. Hence, i will give a pre-asessment.
Each one will be given a copy of the pre-
assessment to answer on.

A. Lesson proper
1. Administering the Pre-Assessment

Directions: Study the table carefully. Determine which are bad for the environment,
and which are good. Write check (/) if it is good and wrong (x) if its not on the first
column.
A PRE-ASSESSMENT B

1. Throw your garbage any ware.

2. Do not waste water.

3. Cutting of trees.

4. Proper throwing of garbage.

5. Recycle plastic bottles

2. Motivation
The demonstrator will motivate the class through a song.

Demonstrator Pupils response

: I have a song. Listen carefully.

( the pupils will be asked listen )

The natural resources song

: Thankyou children.

3. Presenting the Objectives

The demonstrator will give an overview of the objectives through a
PPT presentation which will be read by the students one by one.

Demonstrator Pupils response

: For today here are our objectives.

: Number one please read (and so on) : reading of the objectives

1. identify the parts of the resources we need to

live.
2. give examples on how to conserve earth’s
resources.
3. cite the importance on what will happen if
natural resources will finish.

4. Presenting the lesson following the steps of “Discovery Method”

The demonstrtor will present the lesson through PPT Presentation.
a. Showing pictures parts of the resources we need to live..
b. Showing the pupils the examples of conserve earth’s resources.
c. Asking them to give examples on how to sustain clean environment.
d. Letting them cite the importance of learning on what will happen if the natural
resources will finish.
Demonstrator Pupils response
: Let us start the lesson proper.
Today we will be discussing about the parts of
the resources we need to live. The earth we live
on is made up of different parts each of these
parts provides us with the important resources we
need to live. Let’s learn more about each of these
parts and what they mean to us.

Air

Demonstrator: air surround’s the entire planet

its everywhere. The main resources of air is
oxygen, we need oxygen to breathe and to stay
alive. But we also use air to turn windmills which
makes electricity.

Water
Demonstrator: water is a very important
resources, we need water to drink, we use water
in our homes, farmers use water to grow fruits
and vegetables we eat. Everyone needs water
even animals but there is so much water on earth
that means it can run out if we use too much.

Land

: No Miss.

Demonstrator: land Is the very important of the

earth it give us many important resources that we
use every day, like trees, oil but if abuse to use
these resources they are gone forever but if we
save these resources and reuse the things throw
away we can make our resources last a long
time.

: Any questions children?

5. The pupils will be shown example to conserve earth’s resources through pictures. The
demonstrator will let the students identify on what is shown in the picture. A pupil will
be called to answer the following.
Demonstrator Pupils response
: Okay Children, so while it is important to learn
about saving resources it’s even more important
that you begin to conserve in yourself.

: Just imagine there are millions of kids all over

the world just like you. If you all start
conserving the earths resources, you all make a
huge difference.

: The demonstrator asks the pupils orally.

: Use less water to prevent scarcity.

Demonstrator: Why it is important conserving
water?

: Conservation also prevents pollution because it

can cause bad to the environment and make
: How about burning not burning plastics and people sick.
smoking?

: We can save the energy by reducing the amount

: Turning off lights. of electricity that we use. The less energy we use
the less we produce.

: No cutting of trees.
: picking the trash in ocean to save corals.

: planting trees.

: recycle something you can it is good for the

environment.

: proper disposal

6. The pupils will be asked to give examples on how to sustain clean

environment.
Demonstrators Pupils response
: Excellent! two claps (pupils clap twice)

: Now I will be letting you to watch a very

short video about the importance on what will
happen if natural resources will finish.

(VIDEOCLIP)

: how can you conserve our resources? : I will walk or ride a bike Mss. Instead of riding a
car or buses because bicycles smoke can cause
pollution.
: planting trees.

: save water

: Why it is important to know that we need to : can make our resources last long.
conserve our earth resources?
7. Giving the check-up activity
The demonstrator will group the students into 3. Each group will sketch at least how
they will make difference in the environment by conserving the earth resources. The
students will be given 10 minutes to answer on a piece of paper and to choose a leader to
present in front of the class.

Demonstrator Pupils response

: May I ask the leaders to stay in front to
present your work.

8. Revisiting the Pre-assessment

The demonstrator will now present the pre-assessment activity check their
misconception, if they had any to clarify.

Demonstrator
: Do you still have your pre-assessment? Please
take out the piece of paper that you answered
earlier. This time please put your answers on our
column B.

: Am I clear? : Yes Mss.

Directions: Study the table carefully. Determine which are bad for the environment,
and which are good. Write check (/) if it is good and wrong (x) if it’s not on the first
column.
A PRE-ASSESSMENT B

1. Throw your garbage any ware.

2. Do not waste water.

3. Cutting of trees.

4. Proper throwing of garbage.

5. Recycle plastic bottles

9. Revisiting the Objectives

The demonstrator will revisit the objectives to check if the learning goals have been
achieved.

Demonstrator
1. Did we identify the parts of the resources
we need to live?
2. Did we give examples on how to conserve
earth’s resources? } Yes Mss.
3. Did we cite the importance on what will
happen if natural resources will finish?

: Ccongratulation children! You did a great job.

10. Wrapping up
The demonstrator will now call at random the pupils and ask them significant
questions about the lesson to check if they have retained the skill and information that
they needed to learn.

Demonstrator Pupils response

: at this moment what are the things you have
learned in our discussion?

: Who can give me the parts of the resources we : air, water and land.
need to live.

: How can you start conserving resources at

home?

11. Assignment
The demonstrator will give an assignment to the class to end the session.
Demonstration Pupils response
: For your assignment please copy these on your
lecture notebook.

Direction: Create a photo documentation at
