Content
The course provides insights into theoretical concepts and current practice of enterprise
systems. The course is designed to develop students’ knowledge about enterprise
systems and to provide hands-on experience with enterprise systems applications.
Through lectures and seminars, students learn about opportunities, challenges and
approaches to enterprise systems implementation and use, and develop critical thinking
skills. In addition, the student receive practical experience in enterprise systems
applications through laboratory work. The content reflects main aspects of enterprise
systems and includes:
different types and components of enterprise systems;
architectures and the enterprise systems market
system integration and strategies for implementing and using enterprise systems
trends, opportunities and issues with enterprise systems

Assessment
If there are special reasons for doing so, an examiner may make an exception from the
method of assessment indicated and allow a student to be assessed by another
method. An example of special reasons might be a certificate regarding special
pedagogical support from the University's disability coordinator.
