BYK-A 555
Silicone-free polymer-based air release additive for unsaturated polyester resins. Suitable for all
types of unsaturated polyester resins and processing methods. Also suitable for pultrusion
applications with acrylic, unsaturated polyester and vinyl ester resins.

Applications
Recommended Levels
0.1-0.5 % additive (as supplied) based upon total formulation.
The above recommended levels can be used for orientation. Optimal levels are determined through a series
of laboratory tests.

Pultrusion
Recommended Use
Recommended for systems based on acrylates, unsaturated polyesters or vinyl ester resins.
Recommended Levels
0.2 phr additive (as supplied) in combination with 0.3 phr BYK-A 515 or BYK-A 560.
The above recommended levels can be used for orientation. Optimal levels are determined through
a series of laboratory tests.
