Bluetooth peripheral devices allow wireless connection of input devices like mice and keyboards, as well as output devices like printers and speakers, to a computer via Bluetooth. This avoids having to deal with numerous cables. Common types of Bluetooth peripheral devices include input devices, output devices, storage devices, and digital devices like cameras and phones. Bluetooth peripheral devices require drivers to be installed to enable the computer to connect to and communicate with the devices wirelessly. Installing these drivers manually involves updating through device settings and windows updates. Bluetooth peripheral devices make it more convenient to carry devices and avoid cable tangling but storage devices may operate more slowly than wired connections.
