My room is quite small, but it’s nice too. There are some shelves to put my novels on, and a

George 1__________ photo A shows a houseboat, there is a flat in photo B overlooking a river. Claire
Would you prefer to live on the houseboat in photo A or in the flat in photo B?
George I suppose the 2__________ is, it depends on whether you prefer living in a city or in the

George It would be cheaper 3__________ living in the flat and it looks very cosy to live in.
Claire But don’t you think it would get very cold in winter?
George Oh, yes. I suppose it would be extremely difficult to look after all year round. And it could get
quite lonely. All 4__________ considered, it would probably be better to live in the flat.
George 5__________ about it, life in the flat would be much easier than living on a boat because
you’d be closer to everything you need.
George Let me 6__________. It looks like it’s near a busy road so it wouldn’t be 7__________
healthy as living in the countryside. 8__________ else? Well, it would be noisier too.
Claire You could always rent a boat when the weather’s nice.
George That’s a good 9__________ .Actually, now I come to 10__________ about it, although the
houseboat looks lovely, I wouldn’t want to live on it all year. Maybe just for holidays.
