viewed, what competencies does a great teacher posses ?

negreANSWER : For me the competencies does a teacher posses to be a good quality and personality of
a teacher ,that's the first one to be a great teacher , to guide , support and love for all of her/his student.
Another things is to be a good listener and understanding teacher to all of the problems that struggling
of hers student ,you have to be humble and patients for them ,that's the only thing in great teacher to
be.

kennethAnswer: Some qualities of a good teacher include skills in communication, listening,

collaboration, adaptability, empathy and patience. Other characteristic of effective teaching include an
engaging classroom presence, value in real.world learning, exchange of best practices and a lifelong love
learning.

bacolodAnswer: The great teacher have the competencies that they need to know and understand on
what they teach, for them to deliver it well to their listener. They also possess the qualities of a great
teachers and possess effective teaching characteristics.

AIKO- The following skills are possessed by a great teacher: knowledge and comprehension of the
subject matter. They also incorporate the local community into their lesson, which instills in the pupils a
sense of the interconnectedness of everything and the importance of real-world learning. They also help
students study in a way that allows them to share best practices and cultivate a passion of learning that
lasts a lifetime. Additionally, they have traits that make a successful teacher, like a willingness to listen
to kids, communication skills, collaboration abilities, the ability to adopt, and patience. Additionally, they
have qualities that make for good teaching, such as an engaging classroom presence, that help them
become better teachers every day.

ANSWER : No, because it includes also the good quality of a teacher

Answer- Can I say yes? I suppose so. How come I'm saying this? Professional associations and
organizations place a high emphasis on certain abilities, knowledge, and traits known as professional
competencies. In other words, if it were applied by amateurs, it would be incorrect. We must remember
that these skills are related to our potential career.
3. For a teacher to be great,is it enough to posses the professional competencies to plan a lesson,
execute a lesson plan, manage a class assess learning, compute and report grades? Explain your answer .

ANSWER : For me it is not enough to make a lesson plan or assess them or compute their grades , you
have to be a good quality of a teacher ,and be the one to help and guide them for everything. Yes we
need to make a lesson plan s that they have a discussion as well us they learned ,yes it's a part of a
teacher but if you have not have a good quality of a teacher all of your student cannot trust and close to
you because of your quality of a teacher , you have to be a good quality of a teacher so that all of your
student can trust and love you .

ANSWER: The greatness of a teacher is not measured by how well he/she is able to plan a lesson plan
and execute, it manage a class, assess learning or compute and report grades. These are actually just
manifestations that a teacher is doing his/her job based on his/her job description.

If the students are gaining significant learnings from their teacher we can say that a teacher is great.

If students are influenced by the teacher to pursue their dreams and aim higher, their teacher is a great
one.

If the students are applying gtheir learnings in real life situation they’ve got a great teacher.

ANSWER- I think it is adequate to be able to supervise a class, organize and carry out lessons, evaluate
student learning, compute grades, and report them. Having professional competencies will assist them
in completing their job well. In addition to imparting knowledge in the classroom, a great teacher will be
able to inspire and motivate students to go beyond what is taught there. I firmly believe that excellent
instructors possess subject-matter expertise and are able to interact with learners in a polished and
competent manner. Therefore, in my opinion, having the necessary professional competences is more
than enough to make someone an excellent teacher.

4. For a teacher to be great,which is more important personal quality or professional competencies?

ANSWER : For me , both personal quality and professional competencies are important for a teacher
you have to be a good listener and a good quality or personality of a teacher and also in professional
competencies you have give to them a good moral values for them , understanding teacher,give them a
understable discussion so that they understand and learned more about your discussion. That the only
way to be a great and wonderful teacher for us.

ANSWER: Personal qualities from me is the most important , because person with a charming personality
can learn new skills, whereas someone with good professional qualities but a poor personality into a
charming one.

ANSWER- Both professional and personal traits are crucial for a teacher, and I believe that without
either of them, a teacher would be lacking. Teachers must possess certain personal traits, such as
effective communication abilities, in order to comprehend the needs of their students. Professional
characteristics or abilities are also necessary since they enable you to understand the core teaching
strategies, tricks, and practical experience needed to cope with a variety of students. A teacher who
possesses these two traits also has an advantage because they will help them become an excellent
instructor. To sum up everything I've mentioned so far, a teacher is a whole package if they have the
two characteristics.

ANSWER : The teacher that we remember the most are the unique way of teaching like before h:e start a
lesson they give us a wonderful activity that connect for his lesson , yes it's a game but it is not just a
game, yes you will enjoy and have fun but you learned something from it . It is good to be this kind of
teacher not only we enjoy but we learned something from that, he is a good and wonderful teacher that
i remember he is a funniest and a goodnight d teacher for me , I miss him ,I hope you are there but im
sad you passed away , thank you for teaching and love for us teacher and we always love you .

ANSWERS: Students often remember teachers who were kind or funny, brilliant, passionate. They
remember teachers who were support or encouraging or saw something in them no one else did they
remember teachers who challenged them and made them think.

ANSWER- I believe that the teachers we remember the most are the ones who are kind to us. The
teacher who made an impact on us is another thing. Moreover, the instructor who is able to establish a
good rapport with us. A teacher who is patient enough to explain things to us is another example. The
instructor, who is committed to instructing and motivating us to study, comes last.

Mary ann Negre ANSWER : One of my personal quality is that I am a funny and joker person ,a good
listener , I'm a talkative person , and friendly also . I'm the one that be sad if I have seen a person that
they need help ,I'm happy helping people. But I have also a personal quality that I'm not telling anyone
about my personal problem because i don't know why I'm like this kind of personality of a person , I
know that all of this problem that I faces everyday,I can handle it on my own . Do I need improvement
like to be patient because I don't like if there are people talking , I don't like that kind of personality ,if
there have talking ,but some other have talking also , I know it's normal to be talking but you have to be
in a good timing to talk on your own , and also be a confidence in every task we make , I'm a little bit shy
type of personality, so that I want to improve that .

Kenneth Joy Illustrisimo answer: I think my personal that I want to improve is self confidence, self
improvement specially the answering interview, questions about areas in which youre lacking may you
feel vulnerable- but you can frame in it a possible context by providing relevant examples of time when
you have successfully achieved self improvement.
Maria Fe – the personal traits that I possess is always being on my self anytime, I don’t want to change
my attitude to whom the person I’m being with. The personality that I want to change or improve is my
behavior, Sometimes I don’t trust my self, I want to improve that behavior for me to look straight to
someone who took to me. And to have hundred percent confident to face my students in future.

AIKO- I am a person who can listen, and it is one of my personal qualities. I also have a pleasant
disposition. I have a great work ethic and am very patient. One of my personal weaknesses is that I don't
communicate well. Additionally, I still need to grow in the area of preparation, so I must keep working
on it as long as I can as I am aware that it is the secret to eventually becoming a great teacher.

2. Which professional competencies am I strongly capable of demonstrating ?

Mary ann ANSWER : The professional competencies am I capable of demonstrating is maintaining a

professional appearance, good communication skills , creat a safe learning environment, and a good
quality person.

Kenneth Joy – I think the professional competencies that I possess is the critical thinking, solve problems,
make decisions, creative problem solving.

Maria Fe- The professional competencies I am strongly capable of demonstrating is being creative, and
maintain the good communications skills all the time, when you talk in a crowd people be confident
always.

AIKO- Sincerity dictates that one of the professional skills I am most adept at displaying is the capacity
for innovative issue solution. Although I don't claim to be so good, I can guarantee them that I am
capable. I am capable of thinking of answers to issues. I may state that I have the ability to solve
problems. In conclusion, I am capable of problem-solving, issue analysis, and decision-making.

Mary ann ANSWER : The competencies do I need to develop more are a my communication skills and a
confidence in every task we make , because I'm a little bit shy type person in every teacher I encounter
like in demonstration, so that I well develop that competencies.

Kenneth : I think I need to develop more my self confidence especially to speak in front of a lot of people.

Maria Fe- The competencies that I would develop more is confident, I hate that abilities, so I need to
develop on how to be confidents in front of others.

AIKO- Global perspective is, in my opinion, the professional competency on which I should concentrate
my time and attention. How come I'm saying this? so that I can continue the global educational trend.
Additionally, so that I can adapt innovation to my own teaching methods in the future. I should
concentrate on extending my perspective overall.

Both personal characteristics and professional skills were imparted to me. I have discovered that
encouraging students and expanding their knowledge horizons through the use of professional
competency in teaching help students feel safe in the knowledge they obtain from the teacher. Another
thing I discovered is that in order to supply or provide your kids the proper treatment for their
challenges, you as a competent teacher must identify all of their needs. The best interests of our pupils
must come first above all else, I also taught, because that is one of the most crucial facets of teaching. It
also offers me an understanding of how these two characteristics assist you in achieving your objectives
and collaborating effectively with your students. I came to the conclusion that in order to live up to the
expectations of a great teacher, one needs exhibit a number of competencies.

I also understood that having the two characteristics will benefit me as a teacher in the future.
Additionally, it would be wonderful if I possessed these two characteristics because they would be very
helpful to me given that we would soon be practicing teaching. I will greatly benefit from developing
these abilities or attributes through the course I'm now enrolled in. I'm willing to put in a lot of effort to

*Kenneth- I have observed and notices that action research begins with a problem or a problematic
situation. I have noticed that the students are distract because we learned online. When the students
study from home or whenever they are there maybe more distraction than usual, especially if the family
and possibly younger siblings are present.

*Bacolod- As I’ve observed especially in online classroom setting some of the students are not able to
attend virtual meet and also pass the activities on time and also I noticed that there at least one teacher
also didn’t go well with the class and forget it’s schedule. This problem needs to solve both by students
and teachers.

EFFECTIVENESS OF BLENDED LEARNING IN TEACHING ARALING PANLIPUNAN

This study aimed to determine the effectiveness of Blended Learning in teaching Araling Panlipunan to
Grade V pupils of Doña Pilar C. Gonzaga Elementary School in Mandaluyong city. The profile variables
delimited the fifty-eight (58) pupils in the grade level. On the other hand, the assessment of
effectiveness of blended learning in teaching Araling Panlipunan V delimited to the questionnaire drawn
from the topics. Furthermore, there is a significant difference in the mean post test scores of the
experimental and control groups which led to the rejection of null hypothesis.

viii There is also a significant difference in the mean pretest and posttest scores of the experimental
group which led to the rejection of null hypothesis. The mean pretest score of the experimental group is
not statistically different from that of the control group; which suggests the homogeneity of the
learners’ performance in the test across all groups. There is a significant difference in the mean scores
on Araling Panlipunan between the pretest and posttest of the experimental group. This means that the
use of blended learning in teaching the subject has also a positive effect on the learners’ performance in
Araling Panlipunan. There was a significant difference in the learning gains between the control and
experimental group, which suggests that although the two methods are both effective, the teaching
method introduced to experimental group is superior to that being adopted by the control group.
Anchored on the preceding findings and conclusions, it is recommended that, Teachers have to continue
practicing blended learning in teaching Araling Panlipunan in order to achieve high performance among
the pupils; Teachers should work hand in hand in order to further enhance and create activities suited
for the pupils which will eventually translate to a better learning; Teachers should continue providing
activities which are very interesting to the pupils to retain ideas easily; Teachers should be more
computer literate to cater the needs of the 21 st century learners;

kenneth° Laboratory activities are playing a substantial role in supporting Scientific learning fields by
enabling student to obtain practical skills through experiments and by giving them the chance to have
more profound understanding of the content. Although laboratory activities are expensive and time
consuming. Virtual laboratory activities can save money, time and export. allowed users to conduct
experiments individually and to repeat them multiple times if needed.
