Full Stack Developer – Job Description

Afford Medical is a leader in the medical devices sector in India with a presence in other emerging markets
as well. We are in the process of revolutionizing this sector with digital products and are looking for a Full
Stack Developer who is eager to make an impact. This is an opportunity to work in an early-stage start-up
environment yet in the safe environment of a 2 decades old company. Recruits will play a vital role in not
only shaping the future of new platforms and products but also an opportunity to learn and grow in a fast-
paced ecosystem.

Responsibilities
• Build highly-reliable and scalable products in full-stack Go Lang leveraging its features and flexibility
• Build backend platform components to function with high throughput and low latency.
• Work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment ensuring deliverables in a timely manner
• Posses a strong passion to make an impact as a programmer and an eagerness to learn and work on
new tech stacks

Required Skills
• Experience in building and scaling resilient backend services
• Prior hands-on experience on building scalable web applications on GoLang/MERN stack
(MongoDB, ExpressJS, ReactJS, NodeJS)
• Experience in Agile methodology
• Experience in version control like GitHub, Gitlab
• Proficiency in Dockerization, CI/CD(Jenkins)
• AWS/GCP/MS Azure
• SQL/NoSQL databases
• Experience in designing RESTful, scalable, highly responsive APIs
• Experience in testing frameworks
• Experience in Caching

Preferred Skills
• Prior experience working in the E-Commerce or allied domains
• Possess design sensibilities to develop UI/UX interfaces
• Strong understanding of Microservices architectures

Location: Hyderabad/Remote
