• Screening and evaluation of germplasm.
• Heterosis breeding and F1 seed production in tomato.
• Additional knowledge of breeding on cole crops (CMS technique) and other major vegetable crops like chilli,
capsicum, brinjal, pea and okra.
• Disease resistant screening in vegetable crops.
• Molecular assisted selection in vegetable crops.
