DesignTask - Ticket Master
DesignTask - Ticket Master
TASK OVERVIEW
TM1 Sport XR is our white label, season tickets and memberships solution for some of the
biggest names in UK sports. Currently, the platform is going through an exciting,
strategic transformation and globalisation journey.
End of last year, we have successfully launched the Phase 1 of Sport XR modernisation —
the Purchase Path — but we'd like to see what your solution would be had you had the
opportunity to redesign our legacy product. Our key objectives at the time of the
redesign were:
• To remove any barriers to purchase across our sales flow, particularly on the
Event Details Page (EDP),
• To reduce overall add-to-cart time/to boost checkout conversion, and
• To reimagine/refresh the UI and branding to be more relevant to modern sports
clubs's needs and their missions.
The EDP is where our fans choose the ticket quantity, seat preference, and search for
tickets.
On Ticketmaster Pro, the legacy version of TM Sport XR, there are 2 paths within the
EDP: 1) "Choose My Own Seats," where fan can choose specific seats using the
interactive seat map; and 2) "Find Seats for Me," where the fans decide the quantity and
price type and rely on the system to provide the ticket purchase option.
THE TASK
Conduct a heuristic review of the legacy Ticketmaster Pro purchase journey (Home >
Events index page > EDP pages: Images 1-9 of prototype. We have removed the
Checkout portion to reduce scope), and provide a corresponding design solution in the
method/fidelity of your choice, resolving the issues that you have identified.
Please ensure you showcase some of your high fidelity visual design i.e. at least 2 screens
of varying content.
Since we are unable to share the legacy product, the link includes a crude prototype of
the old core purchase journey

The end solution should be responsive, so please take that into consideration when
designing.
