STEP INTO
VERSION 4
Welcome to Vermilion Reporting Suite, Version 4.
In this latest release we have made some major improvements to our award-
winning software. The changes include enhancements to the previous user
interface and also some exciting new additions.
Here are just a few of the new features. There are many more, as you will
soon discover when you step into Version 4.

What’s new?
1. Dashboards to increase your productivity
You can now share dashboards with your colleagues. You
can create a customised dashboard and share it, based on
permission levels; or you can hide all the menus and use the
dashboard as a ‘wallboard’.

2. Fast and easy to identify and complete tasks


With Version 4, it is fast and easy to identify and complete
tasks. Split screen viewing (which can be customised by
the user) enables you to view your task list alongside the
tasks themselves. You will always be up-to-date on tasks,
messages, report status, or shared dashboards.

3. Fully customised
Vermilion Reporting Suite can now be fully customised to
suit your preferences and business. You can create your own ‘skin’ – changing your environment by selecting your
background colours, images and branding. You can also be
in more than one window at any point in time, without having
to open a new browser window. You simply go to the list
of windows that are currently open and scroll through the
different screens to select.

4. Manage and view data intuitively


Viewing and managing your data has never been easier.
The Data Manager facility has been improved and we now
combine ‘view data’ and ‘manual data’ on one screen. If it’s
a data source that you have permission to edit, you don’t
have to go any further. Creating a data source is simple and
automatically includes the view mode.
