This document describes customizing material master data in SAP to include dangerous goods (DG) data. It adds a new tab called "UPL DG Data" to the basic data screen with three custom fields for DG profile indicator, packaging status, and packaging code. These map to corresponding fields in a new ZDGMASTER table. Dropdown values for the fields come from existing lookup tables. The custom fields allow storing additional DG information for materials beyond the standard SAP fields.
