Ecofriendly Dishwashing Liquid

I. Abstract
Our product is an organic dishwashing liquid and by making this product we are using it to
easily remove food stains from used dishes tableware and utensils we are able to reduce the risk
of illnesses and allergies.   Because natural products do not contain harmful chemicals there is
less damage inflicted to the skin when washing the dishes.  our product is better than other
chemical-based dishwashing liquid: Chemical-based dish wash liquids, organic dish wash liquids
are made of plant-based ingredients. Free of foam builders, fragrances, coloring agents,
preservative or stabilizers, the eco-friendly and safe dish wash solutions contain no chemicals. It
also helps the eco system because we use eco-friendly ingredients that can help our world
become better. 

II. Background of the study


Toxins can enter our bodies through our skin, which is semi-permeable. If you use a toxic
dish soap and soak your hands in it several times a day, you may be putting your health at risk.
Artificial fragrances, formaldehyde, silicone, acrylate, preservatives, and even foaming and
coloring agents are among the toxins found in non-organic dishwashing liquid. Such chemicals
are not required for clean dishes and are certainly not beneficial to your health. Chemical
dishwashing liquids contain a variety of ingredients in varying amounts and for a variety of
purposes. Triclosan, Sodium Laureth Sulfate, Disodium, Formaldehyde, and Phosphates are some
of the most common base ingredients found in commercial chemical dish wash liquids. Despite
the fact that these active ingredients remove stubborn grease and residue to utensils. They can
cause possible environmental risks and health hazards in humans.

III. Statement of the Problem


We are aware that there are many popular brands available in the Philippines like
Joy,Betterlife and others but they have toxins available in them but when we are using very
affordable ingredients that are easily seen almost everywhere like lemons we can remove the
stains easier and more cheap than buying popular branded dishwashing liquid

IV. Hypothesis
Can lemon and washing soda can remove dirt and grease two times better than using chemical
dishwashing liquid?
CHAPTER II

Introduction
choosing the best dishwashing soap to use daily is hard but most commercialized
dishwashing soaps like joy and other brands use non-environment friendly ingredients
but with a product that is not just environmentally friendly but good smelling and can
easily remove dirt or food from dirty dishes. Ecofriendly Dishwashing is better than most
commercialized dishwashing soaps due to its different components and does not contain
harsh chemicals that would otherwise hurt the user.

Procedure
The materials that were needed and collected for the experiment were Biodegradable
Cleaner, tap water (H2O), salt (sodium chloride), melted detergent soap, distilled
vinegar, and lemon essential oil. In making the dishwashing liquid, 300 ml of
Biodegradable Cleaner was Mixed With 1 L of tap water (H2O) then 1 ½ tbsp of salt
(sodium chloride),30 ml of melted detergent soap, 500 ml of distilled vinegar, and 15
drops of lemon essential oil was added to the mixture then was thoroughly mixed before
it was left to set for 24 hours.
Chapter III

Results And Discussion

In this chapter, the results the researchers got were positive, the data that was
gathered and the data are the description of their Ecofriendly Dishwashing soap. The
physical aspects that were graded were the Texture, Effectiveness, Odor

Conclusion

The researchers therefore conclude that their home made ecofriendly dishwashing
soap made from biodegradable cleaner is a better dishwashing soap than most
commercialized dishwashing soap
