3 Software introduction:

1. Overview:

This is a simplified version for the local connection, to monitor the repeater and do initialization, query, set,

etc

2. Connection:

Use the RS232 serial line (KJ nine-pin connector cable). Attention! If PC machine is not configured with

nine-pin male serial port, it will need a USB converter cable. Connect to the corresponding serial port of the PC,

and then turn on the software debug folder "Monitor80.exe" file,double click , popup

window as follows:

Right click on the interface, popup the window ,choose the ‘Site Parameters’ to

configure equipment parameters,

Click the ‘Save’ button after change.

Then click the “Read Parameters List” to query all monitoring parameters。

Popup the follow window and then click ‘ ’

After the completion of the progress,click the ‘Close’ and all parameters will be showed on
the operation area.(Note:The displayed monitoring parameters will be cleared when click the clear
button. The ‘Present Monitoring Parameters’ which means all monitored parameters are
displayed in the operation area, The ‘No Monitoring Parameters’ which indicates that the database
has but not operating area.)

3. Operation:

After reading the monitoring parameters, operating area interface will display the appropriate
monitoring parameters, as shown:

Upper interface has the Alarm Status & Enable, Device info, Network Management, Site
Parameters and Real Time Volume Collection.

For example, in order to set parameters, firstly click ,Select the corresponding

operating parameters(If you want to operate all the parameters on the current page, click on ,

then click again to cancel the all the current selection.); To query the selected items, then click ;

To set the parameter, fill out value to the corresponding parameter (referring to the displayed value on the PC,

which can be changed) and click ,Then click ,parameter setting is successful,

real-time query again (refer to monitoring board, this column only for real-time parameter reading)and remote

value will be updated. (Note: When doing real-time parameter setting operation, the local parameters value can’t

be null, otherwise it will not set up successfully.) Above 2,3 parameters for GSM; 4,5 for WCDMA parameters

and 6,7 for DCS.

The other parameters panels are roughly the same, please pay attention to the following:
Alarm Enable & Status:

This interface is used to observe the current status of the device and alarm setting. As shown below, under its

normal state is green, yellow general alarm, serious warning red; alarm enable allow to open, then select the check

box, which allows alarm generate or been prohibited. Remote monitoring value read from the alarm panel;

updated time record the last operation.

Equipment Info:
This window is used to query the basic information of repeater.
Network Parameter:
From this window, except for the site and device number that can’t be set, the other can be.
The query/set numbers is mainly for remote connections.

For real-time parameter values query, such as the output power and only supports query operation. If the

value of some quantity are out of stipulated range in the agreement (for example, no output, etc.), there will be a

prompt message bar, No value!

5. Site Installation:
Location dimension is as follows. Use 10mm expansion bolt to fix the four sites.

Introduction:
1. After opening the package, fix the device to the vertical wall with two M10X90 expansion
bolts.
2. Fix the bottom bracket hole with two bolts M10X90, make repeater stable and reliable on the
vertical wall.
6. Remark:
1. MODEM is directly coupled to the BS side (Coupling factor 25dBc)with no antenna.
2. Cable of backup battery is not connected when leave factory, which need to be done after site
installation. Details please check the diagram
