This study intends to help the process of manual data entry of alumni data or information. Due
to the constraint of the time-consuming survey of alumni data updates, the Dean of the
Students and Alumni Affairs and its staff struggles in tracing their alumni as well as the alumni
have a hard time to connect to their co-alumni and their alma mater. The ESSU Can-avid Alumni
Tracing System was developed through the use of PHP, HTML, XAMPP, MySQL database,
Bootstrap, CSS Java Script. With the system, the admin can post announcement and events, add
and manage courses, search co-alumni, view, export and print summary of employed and
unemployed alumni, download and print pdf and excel file of alumni in a specific year and
course . Alumni can view posts of events, search co-alumni, create account and comment on a
post. The system was evaluated using a survey questionnaire based on ISO 9126 Software
Quality Standard. Frequency and percentage was used to present the profile of the respondents
and level effectiveness of the system improved the efficiency of collecting data of their alumni
by creating their account, viewing posts, exporting files, and printing different evident in th
computed grand mean of 4.6 interpreted as acceptable under ISO 9126 Software Standard and
ready for implementation. Although the system met the required ISO 9126 major parameters
efforts still should be done to improve the four parameters namely; usability, functionality,
accuracy, and security.
