SSC CHSL Exam Pattern 2023 Changed, New Pattern for Tier 1 and 2

SSC CHSL revised exam pattern has been mentioned in the official notification on December 06, 2022. The SSC CHSL exam will be conducted in
2 tiers. SSC CHSL Tier 1 2023 will be a computer-based and objective type exam, whereas the SSC CHSL Tier 2 exam will be a descriptive type
exam. While preparing for the exam, candidates should download the previous years’ papers of the SSC CHSL Exam.
The SSC CHSL 2023 Tier 1 exam will be held in February-March 2023. The SSC CHSL Admit Cards will be available on the respective regional
websites.
The Tier 2 test will be conducted in pen and paper mode. On the other hand, the SSC CHSL Tier 3 exam is the skill test/ typing test. The SSC
CHSL notification 2023 has been released on the official website on December 06, 2022.

SSC CHSL Tier 1 Exam Pattern 2023
Tier 1 is strictly objective in nature (MCQ) and the mode of the exam will be online. The question paper will comprise 4 sections.
Part I- General Intelligence
Part II -English Language
Part III- Quantitative Aptitude
Part IV- General Awareness/General Knowledge.
The duration of the exam is 60 Minutes.
The question paper will be set in both English and Hindi for every section except the English Language section.
Marks obtained in the Tier 1 exam, the aspirants need to follow the normalization process.

SSC CHSL Tier 1 Marking Scheme
Every correct response: +2 marks
Unattempted question- no mark will be awarded or deducted
Negative marking of 0.50 marks will be applicable in the exam
SSC CHSL Tier 2 Exam Pattern 2023
Tier 2 will be a descriptive exam to be conducted in offline (pen & paper-based) mode.
The SSC CHSL exam will be of 100 marks which must be completed within 60 minutes. However, the candidates who need scribe will get additional 20 minutes
of compensatory time.
The exam must be written in either Hindi or English.
The qualifying marks set by the conducting body in Tier 2 of SSC CHSL 2023 are 33 percent.
The aspirants have to write their correct roll number on the cover page of the answer book (exactly at the prescribed place). The aspirants also require to attach
the signature and left thumb impression in the prescribed column of the answer book.
If the answer book does not bear the roll number, signature, and left-hand thumb impression, then the candidates will be awarded zero.
The aspirants should not also write any personal information such as name, roll number, address and mobile number, etc. inside the answer book. Unless you
follow the given instructions, you will be awarded zero marks during the evaluation process.

SSC CHSL Syllabus 2023
It is important for the candidates to check the detailed SSC CHSL syllabus 2023 before they start their preparations. As mentioned above, there
are four sections in the Tier 1 exam- General Awareness, Quantitative Aptitude, General Intelligence, and English Language. The questions of
English are from 10+2 level while the Quantitative Aptitude questions are up to Class 10 level. Since the exam is for the Higher Secondary level,
no section will have a difficulty level beyond that in any of the tiers. In case, the aspirants still feel anxious about their approach to the exam and
