Spree, the annual sports fest of BITS Pilani, Goa symbolises the
sporting spirit of engineering colleges in India and boasts to be 14+
the largest Inter-Collegiate Sports and Entertainment festival of Events

India. The fest has seen a rising trend in the number of

participants from colleges across the country with 6000+ in its

past editions. It also has a wide range of CSR initiatives like Participants

Udaan, the Spree Marathon and ‘Act to inspire’ campaign with

 Social Initiatives
Besides being a coveted competitive base for athletes all
over the country, the festival also has a wide range of
social initiatives under its letterhead, like Udaan, the
Spree Marathon and the ‘Act to Inspire’ campaign.
Numerous CSR events are organized by the
Spree organizing team in gratitude to our community
CSR and environment. It is a small way in which we
contribute to the greater good of our planet.

Marathon
 The Spree Marathon

Established in 2017, Spree Marathon has taken the

limelight as one of the flagship events of Spree and
stands in the top marathons run in Goa.

With rave reviews by participants from the past

years the Spree Marathon has had an exponential growth
curve and such is expected from the marathon to be held
in 2023. We aim at doubling the participation, bringing in
good quality amenities and wider media coverage for the
event. Garnering more attention and awareness for a
social cause.
Avenues
● The marathon will be customised to integrate it
with the CSR initiative of the company in all
promotional activities and media coverage

● Major media houses have been associated with

Spree in the past. It results in Company being
covered nationally as a promoter of the CSR
themed marathon.

● Integration with Marathon Logo: Company’s

logo will be incorporated in the logo of the event.

● Standees, Banners and other branding material

will be placed all throughout the route of the
marathon. It will be strategically placed such that
it is in full view of the general public.
● Participant Kits and T-shirts: All Participants will be given
kits while registering for the marathon. The kit will include
their bib and a t-shirt, both carrying the Company logo on
them. Any other brochure or merchandise can be included
in the kit as well.

● Medals and Participation Certificate: The Company logo

will be displayed prominently on the medals. All the
participation certificates will carry the Company logo as
well.

● Prize Distribution: The backdrop for the prize distribution

will have extensive Company branding. This will ensure all
photography of the ceremony includes Company’s
branding. Company specific hampers can be given to the
winners as prizes.

● Company’s Arc: The flag off for the marathon will take place
from a large arc. The arc will support the logo of the
company and the Spree Marathon prominently. The arc is
visible to the general public passing through the location.
● Social Media Avenues:
○ An event will be created on facebook with
company association which will be vigorously
publicized on our social media platforms and
through our media associations.
○ Photograph Releases: All photographs of the
marathon released on our platforms will display
Company’s logo prominently.

● Media mentions:
○ Spree boasts of associations with the biggest
media houses in the country Associating with
Spree will be a great way to increase the outreach
of the company with the help of live coverage,
print and broadcast advertisement, radio
mentions, articles, etc
Udaan
About udaan
'Udaan', is our flagship community enrichment sports tournament
for special and differently abled students from all across Goa. Over
200 students participate in this paralympic tournament. Aimed at
shattering the deep-rooted bias amongst us that only the ‘able’ can
achieve, Udaan includes various sports such as judo, football,
softball, bocce and athletics. Our volunteers also join together in
encouraging the participants to set higher goals and push their
boundaries after the events.
In Udaan - "nobody is a loser" as every participant receives
the prize of beautiful memories of a day when people came together
to admire and encourage them.

Marketing Pavillion

Our marketing pavilion consists of a collection of marketing zones for our

sponsors. The marketing pavilion is traditionally located near our food court
and also contains the outdoor stage where a lot of our events our held. The
marketing pavilion serves as a chill-zone where hundreds of attendees
spend time between major events. A marketing zone in this pavilion that
enables the company to interact with the attendees in a much more direct
manner and allows us to execute effective marketing strategies.
Marketing Avenues to be Executed in the
Marketing Pavilion

1. The company will be given a stall in the

marketing pavilion. This stall can be used for
various purposes like crowd interaction, product
sales/display/sampling.

2. Special crowd-engaging informal activities for the

company can be organised for the company in
the marketing pavilion.

3. Physical branding in the form of banners,

standees, photo-booth, cut-offs and etc will be
done near the zone. The large number of people
at the marketing pavilion at a given point in time
ensures that the physical branding gets
legitimate visibility.

Informal Events for Company:

Various crowd-engaging informal events can be conducted for

the company. These can be customised completely to align with
the requirements of the company. These informal events play a
big part in the marketing of the company as they can attract
hundreds of participants and can make a direct impact on the
attendees.

●Photo-booth contests, interactive games,quizzes and treasure

hunts can be organised.

●Flash-Mobs can be organised to gain crowd attention to the

company.

●Drones can be flown across campus, during the events, carrying

company banners to ensure 24*7 advertising during the fest.

Avenues for
Title Sponsor
The Title Sponsor of Spree will receive the following:

● The company will be cited as the Official Title Sponsor of

Spree and will subsequently be the single most branded
sponsor of the Fest.
● It will be also cited as the Title Sponsor of one of the Special
Night and will receive all the marketing avenues
associated with that slab.
● It will receive a exclusive VIP Lounge in the marketing
pavilion. Entry to this lounge will be allowed only on
completion of a certain basic task (like liking a Facebook
page or taking a picture in a certain photo booth). This
zone will consist of the Gaming zone and will be designed
so as to offer exclusive high level marketing for the
company.
● A composite logo will be made, which will have the
Company's Logo incorporated with the Spree Logo. This
will be used everywhere for branding and publicity
including social media and other publications.
● All the Spree T-Shirts will have the Company Logo
incorporated on them. Each year thousands of these
t-shirts are bought by the fest attendees.
● In terms of physical branding, multiple avenues including
banners, standees, stair tags, illuminated logos, entry
stamps, photo booths, direction boards and barricades
for the nights will be effectively used for the Company.
● A specific social media campaign will be run for the
company along the lines of the Company’s requirements.
● All other mentioned avenues mentioned under Marketing
Pavilion and Social Media Campaign will be provided for
the company.
● An informal event based on company's marketing
campaign can also be organized
