Job Title: Manager - Mining Development and Operations

Dear Managing Director of Finance and Corporate Services (MD-FCS),

I am responding to your advertisement in the CMTL website on December 2022 for a post of
Manager for Mining Development and Operations. I will demonstrate my commitment to this
position based on CMTL’s seeking for suitably qualified personnel for the mining development
and operation manager. I am confidence that I have strong work experience in mining and good
skills related on this position. I believe I could make a strong contribution to the CMTL.
I obtained a Bachelor Degree of Mining Engineering from Universitas Pembangunan Nasional
‘UPN’ Veteran Yogyakarta, Indonesia. I am currently work as a Drilling and Blasting Officer
(D&BO) as well as assist my co-worker of Development and Extraction Officer (D&EO) in
Mineral Directorate of ANPM. During 4.5 years I have learn a lot of my principal tasks of D&BO
such as create a template of drilling and blasting, assessing drilling and blasting plan, perform
inspection to explosive materials and all accessories tools been used for blasting, perform
monitoring to drilling and blasting activity in quarry front, perform vibration monitoring to the
existing structures near to quarry site that generate from blasting, produce vibration report, record
and maintain drilling, blasting and vibration report, coordinate with Polisia Nasional de Timor-
Leste to ensure explosive materials been build and storage based on approved standard
applicable. In addition, I also work together with D&EO to assess new and extension mining
application for both local and international companies in order to comply with Mining Code,
carry out inspection to quarry front activities such as digging, loading and transport from
extraction area to crusher plant, carry out inspection to company weighbridge to ensure the
quantity of Construction Materials been reported in daily report synchronises or similar or same
with transported materials, ensure the submission of daily and quarterly report been reported and
submitted, perform an audit activity to the quantity of materials extracted, record and maintain
daily report, take part in Mining Code dissemination within Territory of TL including RAEOA
and Atauro municipality, prepare work program and budget for Mining Code dissemination and
public consultation for Mining activities. Both my principal tasks and work together with D&EO
gave me experiences how to manage and control Mining Activity particular for Construction
Materials within Territory of TL.

I am enables to work in a team, have good analytical thinking, prioritize the work to meet
deadlines, excellent communication in writing and verbal as well as experience in mining area.

Furthermore, I have a good knowledge of AutoCad, Surpac, windows XP, Microsoft excel and
Microsoft office I believe that my knowledge, communication skills and experiences are the top
notch and will help me to assists the Managing Director of Mining and Business Development in
day to day operations to achieve the goals of CMTL.
