Dear Sir / Madam

I am applying for the award to assist KZN GOVERNMENT BURSARY in funding my studies

for the 2023 academic year. I am currently in my second year, studying towards a Bachelor

of Science ( Computer Science and Information Technology) degree at the University of

KwaZulu-Natal,

I am a hardworking student, achieving a good aggregate for my most recent exams. I am

also involved in helping the youth of my community, by tutoring Mathematics, Computer

Science, and Information Technology high school students during the holidays. I have my
tutorial session in my community telling the youth why Computer Science is the most during

this time because The world in which we live is very reliant on technology. Technology has

an impact on almost every area of our everyday life, including employment, communication,

entertainment, and education. Consequently, there is a demand for people with the skills to

create, maintain, and fix the technology we use.

My father's job loss has unhappily left my parents unable to continue paying for my study

expenses after they paid for the first year of tuition. Regrettably, I won't be able to continue

my education if I don't get the funds.

If I'm selected for your bursary program, I'll use the abilities and knowledge I've gained to

thrive in my studies and give back to my community.

Thank you very much for considering me for the bursary. I appreciate any opportunity which

helps me achieve my academic and career goals.

Yours Sincerely,

Mhlengi Mbuyisa
