Corridor DAY
.

A LIFT OPENS TO REVEAL A STUDENT IN MODERN CLOTHING.


Student
I hope I’m back now. (In an uncertain voice)
The student walks down the corridor. With music from the 80’s in the
background. A gruff voice

The foe

Enter (In gruff voice)

The student knocks on a classroom door.


INT. Class room

The student
This may sound like a strange question, what year is this?
The foe
It’s you.
The student
“What”
The foe
They said you weren’t really.
You must be having me confused with someone else.
“Then he runs out of the class room.”
The foe
Wait
HE pulls out a gun and fires it to the corridor
The student ducks from the gun fire. He pushes the button to open the
lift. The student goes inside the lift and presses a button in the lift.

INT. Lift
Student
That was a close shave
INT. corridor

The lift door opens. Note the scene is in black and white
The student exits the lift.

He pulls out a drink from his pocket. He begins to drink it, when he’s
tapped on the shoulder by a police man. He’s carrying a sign saying the
consumption of alcohol is criminal offense. The student is handcuffed by
the policeman. Student points at something. The student runs away. He
enters a lift.
The lift opens Bright sitcom lighting

He enters a classroom. He trips up. A laugh track plays.


INT. corridor
Teacher
You always were at the bottom of the class.
Laugh track plays
Student
That wasn’t even funny

Teacher
You couldn’t tell before, now you’re losing track of years.
(condescendingly)
Student
I asked for the year not be berated.

Teacher

Also, you asked me to remind you of the code to return to 2023 1-2-1-1-1
up up down. Whatever that means.
<A Smile came over his face>
Student
It means I can go home.
He enters the code.
The lift door opens in year 2023. He has returned his own time.

Night

He walks off into the distance. The lift door closes.
