1 The Datadog for Startups Program provides eligible companies $30,000-$100,000 of Datadog Pro
credit for one year or until your next round of funding. Our goal is to help you scale your business,
applications, and infrastructure with our world-class monitoring platform. observability tooling.
The Datadog WHAT’S INCLUDED IN THE PROGRAM?
for Startups – The Pro tier of the Datadog platform (Infrastructure and APM)
Program – Access to the Datadog Learning Center
– Extended trials of other Datadog products
– A dedicated Program Manager (PM)
– A Customer Success Manager (CSM)
– An orientation for new Datadog users
– Quarterly class progress check-ins

WHAT’S EXPECTED OF ME DURING THE YEAR?

Ultimately, we want you to use Datadog to its full potential. We want you to see enough value from
the software that it becomes a critical tool for your growing business. That said, there are a few
small things we ask from you:

References
During the first month of the program, please provide us with three company names and the
primary contact information for classmates who are also part of your VC/Incubator class. We will
reach out to your classmates to offer them entry into the Datadog for Startups Program.
Testimonial
At your nine-month check-in, please provide the Datadog team with a five-six sentence testimonial
that can be used to promote the Startup Program to other startup companies.
Gartner Insights Review
At your nine-month check-in, you will be sent a Gartner review link to fill out.

of the resources you need to succeed.
Joining the Startup Program gives you access to a dedicated team that consists of two key people:
Your Success
Team
Program Manager Customer Success Manager
(PM) (CSM)

Each member of your account team focuses on different aspects of your growth with Datadog.
Program Manager
Your PM is your go-to while part of the Startup Program. They’re here to assist in anyway possible,
and can gather the necessary people/resources needed to get your questions answered.
Customer Success Manager
Your CSM will be your point of contact for Datadog and/or monitoring best practices and questions
regarding usage.

Outside of your core account team, you can also leverage the following resources:

3 Kickoff call
Two weeks after you join the program, your PM will schedule a kickoff call for you and your team.
The goal of this call is to introduce you to your Datadog support team and to ensure your continued
Class Quarterly success. Depending on the month of your kickoff call, you will be assigned to a startup class
matching that month.
Check-ins
Three- and six-month quarterly check-in
Going forward, your PM will schedule a check-in call every three months to address any questions
or outstanding issues you may encounter. Your three- and six-month check-in calls will include all
startups in your onboarding class. It will be an opportunity for us to answer any questions you may
have and discuss features that may be beneficial to you and your team.
Nine month check-in
At your nine month check-in call, you will meet individually with your CSM. This call is meant to reflect
on your usage and to discuss what steps we could take as your startup continues to grow.

4 To ensure you have everything you need to be successful as you ramp up in the Startup Program,
you will receive access to the Datadog Learning Center.

Datadog The Datadog Learning Center is your one-stop shop for hands-on Datadog training across all of our
products. We recommend starting with the Introduction to Datadog module and moving on to the
Learning Center other modules at your leisure.

Your Program Manager is here to answer questions you might have while in the learning center,
so be sure to leverage that resource should you need any assistance.
