1.0 Introduction

This design note pertains to the Design of Seismic Arrester for Superstructure of Span 24.430 m
c/c from one side.

A separate system of Seismic Arrester control in both directions are introduced to cater for
seismic forces on the bearings as per Cl. 219.9 (iii), IRC : 6 : 2014.
