Angles

Angles are the space between two intersecting straight lines measured in degrees at the point where they meet, called the vertex. There are four main types of angles: acute angles measure more than 0 degrees but less than 90 degrees, right angles measure 90 degrees, obtuse angles measure more than 90 degrees but less than 180 degrees, and straight angles measure 180 degrees. Angles can be named using letters at their vertices and numbered clockwise or counterclockwise. Vertical angles are opposite angles formed by two intersecting lines that are congruent. Adjacent angles share a vertex and one common side.
