your locations then start your research.

b) Does the weather affect this tourist attraction? Explain. (For example,
is the main tourist attraction only offered during the short summer

Saskatoon, Canada (North/West)


1.a) The coldest month of the year in Saskatoon is January.
b) The average temperature in January in Saskatoon is 5 degrees F.
c) The average about 260mm of precipitation per month in Saskatoon.
2.a) The hottest month of the year in Saskatoon is July.
b) With an average of about 60 degrees F during that month.

3. a) The top three tourist attractions would be the Western Development
Museum, the University of Saskatchewan and the Meewasin Valley.
b) The Western Development is a museum so it is not affected by whether along
with the University of Saskatchewan which has buildings you can go in but the
Meewasin Valley would be not available to be toured during bad weather and
cold temperatures unless you choose to.
Quito, Ecuador (South/West)
1.a) The coldest month of the year in Quito is December
b) The average temperature in during that month in Quito is 14.4 degrees C
c) The average about 3 in of precipitation per that month in Quito
2.a) The hottest month of the year in Quito is August
b) With an average of about during that month 20 degrees C
of precipitation average per that month in Quito 1.25 inches
3.a) The top three tourist attractions would be the Old Town, Capilla del Hombre,
and Teleferico Quito
b) You would definetly not be able to go on the Teleferico Quito as in bad weather
it wouldn’t run along with the other ones being outside but able to visit at all
times.
Helsinki, Finland (North/East)
1.a) The coldest month of the year in Helsinki is February
b) The average temperature in during that month in Helsinki is –6 degrees celsius
c) The average about 40 millimetres of precipitation per that month in Helsinki
2.a) The hottest month of the year in Helsinki is July
b) With an average of about 17 degrees C during that month
of precipitation average per that month in Helsinki is 55 millimetres
3.a) The top three tourist attractions would be Suomenlinna, Helsinki Cathedral,
Esplanadi.
b) All of these being outside you would not be able to attend in bad weather
unless you choose too of course.
Perth, Australia (South/East)
1.a) The coldest month of the year in Perth is July
b) The average temperature in during that month in Perth is 6 degrees C
c) The average about 4.9 inches of precipitation per that month in Perth
2.a) The hottest month of the year in Perth is February
b) With an average of about 16 degrees C during that month

b) All of these are outside except the Perth Mint is both so in bad weather visiting
these sites are not recommended.

Final Reflection:
1. Of the locations you researched, which one has the “best” weather in your

I think Australia because of the warm temperatures all year even in the winter
they have above zero weather which is a huge plus. The
