SUBJECT DESCRIPTION This subject will help students understand public speaking in multiple contexts or situations. To gain this skill, public speaking will be explained from its three most important aspects: The Speaker, The Audience, and The Message. By mastering the concept and skill of these three aspects, the students will learn to be more creative in public speaking. This class will include class seminar, discussion, practice, and event organizing. This will allow students to have both conceptual and practical understanding of public speaking in multiple contexts. SUBJECT AIMS: 1. Understanding public speaking in multiple contexts 2. Understanding the three important aspects in public speaking: The speaker, The Audience, The Message 3. Develop self confidence when speaking before group 4. Improve the use of elements of public speaking: eye contact, posture, gesture, and voice 5. Listen critically and objectively 6.
