ATTRIBUTES AND TITLES OF JESUS ARE IDENTICAL

TO THE ATTRIBUTES AND TITLES OF GOD YEHOVAH.

HENCE JESUS IS YEHOWAH

GOD YEHOVAH AND JESUS PERFORM SAME LEVEL ACTIONS PROVING

THAT JESUS IS YEHOWAH GOD. NO GREATER PROOF OF DEITY COULD
BE PRESENTED CONCERNING CHRIST THAN TO SHOW THAT HE IS
CALLED JEHOVAH. ON CLOSER EXAMINATION IT CAN BE SEEN
THROUGHOUT THE BIBLE THAT THERE IS IDENTITY IN THE ATTRIBUTES OF
LORD JESUS CHRIST AND YEHOVAH. Jesus is the son of God and the anointed one,
the Christ. But He is more than just an anointed one. But He is not just a creature,
anointed to be the savior of mankind. The most wonderful thing is that, the anointed
one is the only true God, Yahweh the son of God, Yahushua the son of man. That is why,
he is referred to as child, son, counselor, prince, king, God and eternal father, in one
single verse, in the stunning prophecy of Isaiah. Jesus is God, because he is the
Yehowah, the son of God, who became the son of man in Yahushua or
Jesus. The fact that, Yahushua is Yah or Yahweh is very clear from his name and
mission. Yah is the key word, in the name of God. In heaven HALLELU-YAH is heard, in
the worship of the triune God, before the completion of the redemptive Age. It means
praise to Yah. God himself, gave the name for Jesus, before his birth, with a clearly
stated reason. His name shall be called Jesus, because he will save his people from their
sins. Who else has a people, of his own, except Yahweh? Yahweh is the name of
God, as revealed in the Old Testament. Yahushua is the true name of Jesus, in the
New Testament. It means Yah is salvation. THUS, THE ATTRIBUTES OF
YAHWEH AND JESUS, PROVE TO BE ONE AND THE SAME. There are
numerous verses in the Bible, which show that, Yahweh and Jesus are claiming the same
attributes. Hence, in the ultimate analysis, one can easily conclude that YAHWEH AND
YAHUSHUA OR JESUS, ARE ONE AND THE SAME PERSON, THE ETERNAL SON
OF GOD.

JESUS AND YEHOWAH HAD THE SAME EXPERIENCE

EX 12 PESAH IS OF YEHOWAH. YEHOVAH GAVE SACRIFICE IN THE OT

AND JESUS CHRIST BECAME THE SACRIFICE IN NT. HENCE YEHOVAH
IS JESUS. YAHWEH IS YAHUSHUA ZECHARIAH 11:13 And Jehovah said unto me,
Cast it unto the potter, the goodly price that I WAS PRIZED AT BY THEM. And I
took the thirty [pieces] of silver, and cast them unto the potter, in the house of Jehovah.
MT 27 9-10 Then was fulfilled that which was spoken through Jeremiah the prophet,
saying, And they took the thirty pieces of silver, the price of him that was priced, whom
[certain] of the children of Israel did price; and they gave them for the potter's field, as
the Lord appointed me. Zechariah 12:10 And I will pour out on the house of David and
on the inhabitants of Jerusalem, the Spirit of grace and of supplication, so that THEY
WILL LOOK ON ME WHOM THEY HAVE PIERCED; and they will mourn for
Him, as one mourns for an only son, and they will weep bitterly over Him, like the bitter
weeping over a first-born. The One who was pierced is Jesus Christ. And John 19:37
specifically applies this text to Christ. Zech 13:6-7 And one shall say unto him, What are
these wounds in thine hands? Then he shall answer, THOSE WITH WHICH I WAS
WOUNDED IN THE HOUSE OF MY FRIENDS. Zech 14:9 And the LORD shall be
king over all the earth: IN THAT DAY SHALL THERE BE ONE LORD, AND HIS NAME
ONE.

BOTH YEHOWAH AND JESUS SHARE SAME NAME

AND DESIGNATION
BOTH SHARE THE HIGHEST PROPER NAME. "Have this attitude in yourselves
which was also in Christ Jesus, who, although He existed in the form of God, did
not regard equality with God a thing to be grasped, but emptied Himself, taking the
form of a bond-servant, and being made in the likeness of men. Being found in
appearance as a man, He humbled Himself by becoming obedient to the point of death,
even death on a cross. For this reason also, God highly exalted Him, and
BESTOWED ON HIM THE NAME WHICH IS ABOVE EVERY NAME, so that
at the name of Jesus every knee will bow, of those who are in heaven and on earth and
under the earth, and that every tongue will confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory
of God the Father." (Phil 2:5-11). Only one name is above every name YEHOVAH. Thus,
the passage is unmistakably referring to Jesus as YEHOVAH. The passage also proves
that YEHOWAH exists as a SEPARATE MANIFESTATION OF GOD.

YEHOWAH IS GOD’S PROPER NAME IN HEBREW. The word occurs 6,828

times in the Old Testament. That’s more than three times as often as the simple word for
“God” (Elohim 2,600 times; El 238 times). The most important text in the Bible for the
meaning of the name Yahweh is Exodus 3:13-15. “What is his name?” what shall I say to
them?’ God said to Moses, ‘I AM WHO I AM.’ And he said, ‘Say this to the people of
Israel, “I AM has sent me to you.”’ “The LORD (that is, YEHOWAH), the God of your
fathers, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, the God of Jacob, has sent me to you.”
THIS IS MY NAME FOREVER, AND THUS I AM TO BE REMEMBERED throughout all
generations”.
ABOUT THE PROPER NAME – JESUS. “And she shall bring forth a son, and thou
shalt call his name Jesus: for he shall save his people from their sins” (Mt 1:21). The
Hebrew form of Jesus is Joshua, and its fullest form YAHUSHUA, which means
YEHOWAH IS SALVATION. In addition Matthew tells in 1:23 that giving this name to
the baby is to fulfill the prophecy of Isaiah 7:14, which states: “Behold, a virgin shall
be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name
Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us”. Hence it is clear that
the inspired scripture wants us to understand there is connection between God
in their midst (Emmanuel), YEHOWAH and JESUS - the one who saves – BEING THE
ONE AND SAME PERSON. THUS, YEHOWAH AND YAHUSHUA (JESUS) ARE ONE
AND THE SAME.
BOTH HAVE THE SAME ATTRIBUTES AND
FUNCTIONS
JESUS IS CALLED "GOD". John 1:1-3 - "In the beginning was the Word, and the
Word was with God, and the Word was God." All things were made through Him. The
"Word" refers to Jesus (v17), the only begotten of the Father who became flesh and
dwelt among us (v14). This claims that Jesus is a separate individual from the Father
(He was with God), and yet He Himself possesses Deity (He was God). (Colossians
2:9; Philippians 2:5-8). YEHOVAH IS GOD. DEUT 7:9 Know therefore that Yehovah
thy God, he is God, the faithful God, who keepeth covenant and lovingkindness with
them that love him and keep his commandments to a thousand generations. DEUT 6:4
Hear, O Israel: Yehovah our God is one Jehovah: DEUT 4:35 Unto thee it was
showed, that t hou mightest know that Yehovah he is God; there is none else besides
him.

JESUS IS CALLED IN THE BIBLE AS THE: only one who is Lord; the only one
who is King of Kings; the only one who is  Lord of Lords; the only one to be exalted on
that day; the only one who is immortal; the only one who is Savior; the only one who
make wonders/miracles; the only one who we should worship; the only one who has
Glory and who doesn’t share his glory with anyone; the only one who is Holy
THE SAME ATTRIBUTES OF YEHOVAH AND JESUS PROVE THAT BOTH
ARE ONE. There are numerous verses in the Bible which show that Yehovah and Jesus
Christ are claiming same attributes. In the ultimate analysis of these verses, one can
easily conclude that Yehovah and Yahushua or Jesus are one and the same person, the
son of God. JER 17:10 I, Jehovah, search the mind, I try the heart, even to give every
man according to his ways, according to the fruit of his doings. REV 2:23 And I will kill
her children with death; and all the churches shall know that I am he that searcheth the
reins and hearts: and I will give unto each one of you according to your works. DEUT
32:39 See now that I, even I, am he, And there is no God with me: I kill, and I make
alive; I wound, and I heal; And there is none that can deliver out of my hand. JN 10:17-
18 Therefore doth the Father love me, because I lay down my life, that I may take it
again. No one taketh it away from me, but I lay it down of myself. I have power to lay it
down, and I have power to take it again. This commandment received I from my Father.
JN6:44 No man can come to me, except the Father that sent me draw him: and I will
raise him up in the last day.
JESUS HAS THE ATTRIBUTES OF GOD. God says there is no God apart from
Him. Jesus and God are both addressed by the same title FIRST AND LAST,
BEGINNING AND END. Hence both refer to the same God. Isaiah 44:6 I am the
first and I am the last; Apart from me there is no God." Now please cross reference this
with the words of Jesus in Revelation 1:17-18. And when I saw him, I fell at his feet as
one dead. And he laid his right hand upon me, saying, Fear not; I am the first and the
last, and the Living one; and I was dead, and behold, I am alive for evermore, and I have
the keys of death and of Hades. We can rightly conclude that both are one. REV 1:8, "I
am the Alpha and the Omega," says the Lord God, "who is, and who was, and who is to
come, the Almighty." Micah 5:2 A ruler would come from Bethlehem, but his goings
forth were actually "from of old" (Hebrews QEDEM), "from everlasting" (Hebrews
OLAM). That this is a prophecy of Jesus is confirmed by Matthew 2:4-6. Isaiah 9:6 - He
is called "Everlasting" Father (Hebrews AD). EVERLATING CAN HAVE BEGINNING
BUT NO END, HENCE NOT ETERNAL. Infinite holiness is a unique characteristic of
God. Man is not always holy (Romans 6:10-23; 1 John 1:8,10), but God is sinlessly
perfect. He is always holy, just, and righteous. Jesus also possesses this characteristic of
holiness. Acts 3:14; 4:27,30; 13:35; Hebrews 7:26; John 8:46; Hebrews 4:15; 1 Peter
2:20-23; Mark 1:24; Luke 1:35 (2 Corinthians 5:21; 1 John 3:5).

NOT ONLY DID JESUS CLAIM TO COME FROM HEAVEN, BUT HE SAID

THAT IT WAS "MY KINGDOM" ISN'T HEAVEN GOD'S KINGDOM? that you
may eat and drink at My table in My kingdom, and you will sit on thrones judging the
twelve tribes of Israel. Lk 22:30. Jesus answered, "My kingdom is not of this world.
If My kingdom were of this world, then My servants would be fighting, that I might not
be delivered up to the Jews; but as it is, My kingdom is not of this realm." Jn 18:36.

JESUS CLAIMED TO HAVE EXISTED BEFORE HE WAS BORN IN

BETHLEHEM, and "BEFORE THE WORLD BEGAN. He claimed to share the
glory of God. Jesus claimed the ability to forgive sins. Jesus claimed that He would
return in the clouds in glory. Jesus claimed to be the light of the world who
provides salvation. Jesus said He was the good shepherd, who searches for His
sheep. Jesus claimed to send the Holy Spirit (Helper). The same claim is made for
God. Jesus said that He raised Himself from the dead, even though the Bible says
that God did it.

JESUS POSSESSES ALL THE INCOMMUNICABLE ATTRIBUTES OF GOD.

Christ is eternal, as we noted in Micah 5:2, and in His titles, "the Alpha and the
Omega, the first and the last, the beginning and the end." He is omnipresent. In
Matthew 18:20, He said, "Where two or three have gathered together in My name, there
I am in their midst"; and in Matthew 28:20, He promised, "Lo, I am with you always,
even to the end of the age." He is omniscient. On the night Christ was betrayed, the
disciples told Him, "Now we know that You know all things, and have no need for
anyone to question You; by this we believe that You came from God" (Jn. 16:30). Later,
Peter appealed to Christ's omniscience in his own defense, John 21:17: "Peter was
grieved because He said to him the third time, 'Do you love Me?' And he said to Him,
'Lord, You know all things; You know that I love You.'" In Revelation 2:23 Christ
describes Himself in these terms: "I am He who searches the minds and hearts. He
is omnipotent. Philippians 3:21 says He "will transform the body of our humble state
into conformity with the body of His glory, by the exertion of the power that He has
even to subject all things to Himself." Hebrews 1:3 says He "upholds all things by the
word of His power." He is immutable, unchanging. This attribute could never be true of
any created being. Yet Hebrews 1:10-12 says, speaking of Christ, Thou, Lord, in the
beginning didst lay the foundation of the earth, And the heavens are the works of Thy
hands; they will perish, but Thou remainest; And they all will become old as a garment,
and as a mantle Thou wilt roll them up; As a garment they will also be changed. But
Thou art the same, And Thy years will not come to an end.
Hebrews 13:8 is a familiar affirmation of the immutability of Christ: "Jesus Christ is the
same yesterday and today, yes and forever." God's nature cannot change. God cannot
cease to be God. Colossians 2:9: "For in Him all the fulness of Deity dwells in bodily
form." And Hebrews 1:3 says Christ "is the radiance of [Jehovah's] glory and the exact
representation of His nature. Jesus is Jehovah God.

JESUS DOES WHAT JEHOVAH DOES, HE JUDGES, AS AT THE LAST DAY.

THIS IS A DEEPER LEVEL STATEMENT THAN MERE VERBAL. IT IS
ACTION EVENT STATEMENT. The parable of the separation of the sheep and goats
(Mt 25:31–46) extends Jesus’ role as judge and combines the titles of kyrios and Son of
Man.
JESUS - A NEW LAWGIVER OR THE SAME LAWGIVER? Jesus is the same
person who gave the law to Moses at Sinai and is thus the one who now has the right to
explain the law in its totality. Fulfilling all righteousness means being in
harmony with the direct will of God, not just adhering to external forms as
did some of the Pharisees. THUS, IN THE SERMON ON THE MOUNT,
JESUS, THE ORIGINAL LAWGIVER, TEACHES THE TRUE INTENT OF THE
LAW.
John 20:28. Thomas says, “MY LORD AND MY GOD.” In a Jewish climate,
there is only one possibility. He has to be Jehovah. THE GOOD
SHEPHERD. Jesus said: “I am the good shepherd: the good shepherd giveth his life
for the sheep. But he that is an hireling, and not the shepherd, whose own the sheep are
not, seeth the wolf coming, and leaveth the sheep, and fleeth: and the wolf catcheth
them, and scattereth the sheep. The hireling fleeth, because he is an hireling, and careth
not for the sheep” (John 10:11–13). Behind this assertion must stand Ezekiel 34.
There we first hear of the “hirelings”: “Woe be to the shepherds of Israel that do feed
themselves! should not the shepherds feed the flocks? . . . (Ezekiel 34:2, 4). The
remedy in Ezekiel is that God Himself will become the Shepherd: “For thus
saith the Lord [Jehovah] God; Behold, I, even I, will both search my sheep, and seek
them out. As a shepherd seeketh out his flock in the day that he is among his sheep that
are scattered; so will I seek out my sheep, and will deliver them out of all places where
they have been scattered in the cloudy and dark day. . . . I will seek that which was
lost, and bring again that which was driven away, and will bind up that which
was broken, and will strengthen that which was sick: but I will destroy the fat and the
strong: I will feed them with judgment” (Eze 34:11–12, 16). JESUS AS
KING. Nathanael says, “Rabbi, thou art the Son of God; thou art the King of Israel”
(John 1:49). “Jesus answered, My kingdom is not of this world: if my kingdom
were of this world, then would my servants fight, that I should not be delivered to the
Jews: but now is my kingdom not from hence [But now my kingdom is from another
place—NIV]. Pilate therefore said unto him, Art thou a king then? Jesus answered, Thou
sayest that I am a king [You are right in saying I am a king—NIV], To this end was I
born, and for this cause came I into the world, that I should bear witness unto the truth.
Every one that is of the truth heareth my voice” (John 18:36–37).Pilate saith unto them,
Shall I crucify your King? The chief priests answered, We have no king but Caesar”
(John 19:14–15). The true king of Israel was Jehovah. JESUS IS THE
LIGHT. Jesus says that He is the light (see John 8:12), the truth (see John 14:6), and
the life (see John 11:25).When we turn to the Old Testament, we find a number of
passages that identify Jehovah with light. Psalm 89:15 states: “Blessed is the people that
know the joyful sound: they shall walk, O Lord, in the light of thy countenance.” “The
Lord [Jehovah] is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? the Lord is the
strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?” (Psalm 27:1). Because Jesus is
Jehovah incarnate, all of the attributes of YEHOWAH can be applied to
Him.
JESUS WAS WORSHIPPED – PROVED HE IS GOD. JESUS THOUGHT OF
HIMSELF AS GOD. Jesus talks and acts like he is God. He accepted worship that He
knew was only for God. He claimed to have authority over God’s Law, and spoke of
using His own authority. WHEN HE WAS WORSHIPPED, AND ACCEPTED IT,
HE WAS SAYING THAT HE WAS GOD. PROVING IDENTITY IS IN DEEDS
NOT WORDS. JESUS RECEIVED WORSHIP - THIS WAS A DECLARATION
THAT HE WAS INDEED GOD. Even though Jesus never demanded the worship, he
accepts it and confirms it as proper. In John chapter 20, and Matthew chapter 28, we
read how Jesus receives worship and affirms this. Only Jehovah was to be worshiped by
the Jewish people. No thing or person was to be worshiped in His stead, and for those of
Israel who did worship other gods, the punishment was to be sure and final—stoning
(Deut 13:6–11). Despite this, the astounding claim is made in Matthew that persons
worshiped Jesus. The Wise Men sought the king of the Jews in order to worship him (Mt
2:2). When they finally found Jesus and Mary, they fell down and worshiped the boy
(2:11). After Jesus saved Peter from sinking as he tried to walk on the water, those in the
boat worshiped Jesus (14:33). Twice following the Resurrection, Jesus was worshiped
(28:9, 16).

EXPLICIT CLAIMS OF JESUS

NOTE THE FOLLOWING CLAIMS, WHICH EXPLICITLY DEMONSTRATE
THAT JESUS DID INDEED CLAIM TO BE EQUAL WITH GOD, IN THE
SAME SENSE AS GOD THE FATHER.THE DEITY CLAIMS OF JESUS WERE
DEEPER THAN UTTERING A FEW WORDS - IN THE SENSE HE WAS
CLAIMING THE ATTRIBUTES OF GOD AND PROVING THE CLAIMS TO BE
TRUE BY PERFORMING THE FUNCTIONS OF GOD WHICH ONLY GOD
COULD DO. I AM. In John 8:24 Jesus declared: “For if you should not believe that I
am, you will perish in your sins”. Many translations add the pronoun “he” after “I am”,
even though the pronoun is not contained after “I am” in any Greek manuscripts of John
8:24. The pronoun is not contained after Jesus’ other I AM affirmations in John 8:28,
58; 13:19; 18:5, 6, and 8. JESUS CLAIMED HE WAS THE “I AM” SEVEN TIMES IN
THE GOSPEL OF JOHN. THESE INSTANCES ARE ABSOLUTE “I AM” CLAIMS -
WITH NO SUPPLIED PREDICATE. Hence, they are not the same as statements such as,
for example, “I am the door” or “I am the shepherd.” These all have predicates following
“I am” whereas the seven “I am” statements listed above have no supplied predicate, but
rather the “I am” stands alone. Cleary this was an absolute and clear claim to deity. The
Hebrew phrase, anihu, which was translated egō eimi (“I am”) in the LXX. This was an
exclusive and recurring title for YHWH (Deut. 32:39; Isa. 41:4; 43:10; 46:4; etc.). Thus,
this title denoted YHWH alone (which the Jews clearly understood, John 8:59). Further,
Jesus’ claim to be the “I am” was not only seen in John 8:58 (as many assume), but note
the marked progression starting in 8:24, then, vv. 28, 58; 13:19; 18:5, 6, and 8. IT IS
WHEN WE TAKE ALL THE “I AM” STATEMENTS DO WE SEE THE THRUST OF HIS
CLAIM. THIS WAS A STRONG AFFIRMATION OF THE DEITY OF JESUS IS WELL
PROVED FROM THERESPONSE OF THE JEWS IN VERSE 59: THEY WANTED TO
STONE HIM, WHICH CLEARLY SHOWS THAT THE JEWS UNDERSTOOD JESUS’
CLAIM AS AN UNEQUIVOCAL CLAIM TO BE GOD. JESUS’ CLAIM TO BE THE “I
AM” WAS ESSENTIALLY A CLAIM TO BE YHWH, NOT A MERE JUDGE, ANGEL, OR
REPRESENTATIVE OF GOD, BUT YHWH.  Hence, salvation is predicated on believing
that the Son, Jesus Christ, is the eternal God, YHWH, the great “I am.” It should be
specially noticed that this kind of unique thematic arrangement which is so accurate and
well-planned is impossible for the ordinary writers unless inspired by Holy Spirit of
God. Jesus never said I am not God and do not worship me. Rather he proved to be God,
indirectly by his words and deeds and accepted worship. The statement of Jesus that
only God is good, does not mean that Jesus is not God and bad. Rather it only means
that since God is good and Jesus is God, Jesus is good.

BOTH YEHOVAH AND JESUS HAVE SAME

TITLES
THE ALPHA AND THE OMEGA - THE FIRST AND THE LAST. Jesus is "the
First and the Last" Rev 1:17-18. Yehovah is also the "the first and ... the last" Isa
44:6. KING OF KINGS. The phrase king of kings is used in Scripture six times. Once,
the title is applied to God the Father (1 Timothy 6:15), and twice to the Lord Jesus
(Revelation 17:14; 19:16). The other three (Ezra 7:12; Ezekiel 26:7; Daniel 2:37) refer to
either Artaxerxes or Nebuchadnezzar, kings who used the phrase to express their
absolute sovereignty over their respective realms (Persia and Babylon). The phrase lord
of lords is used by itself in Scripture twice and refers to God the Father (Deuteronomy
10:17; Psalm 136:3). In Revelation 19:16 Jesus is given the full title “KING OF KINGS
AND LORD OF LORDS” (Revelation 17:14 switches it: “Lord of lords and King of
kings”). The title indicates someone who has the power to exercise absolute dominion
over all His realm. In the case of the Lord Jesus, the realm is all of creation. In John’s
vision, Jesus is returning to judge the world and establish His earthly kingdom, as He
predicted in Mark 13:26. When Jesus is called “King of kings and Lord of
lords,” it means that, in the end, all other rulers will be conquered or
abolished, and He alone will reign supreme as King and Lord of all the
earth. There is no power, no king, and no lord who can oppose Him and
win. There are myriad references to this absolute rule of Jesus and His preeminence
over other rulers throughout Scripture. To mention just a few, Isaiah 40:23–24 says that
the Lord brings “princes to nothing” and makes earth’s rulers “emptiness.” The mere
breath of the Lord will “carry them off like stubble.” Daniel’s vision of the son of man in
Daniel 7:13–14 is of one whom he calls “the Ancient of Days” whose everlasting
dominion is over all people, nations and languages. In the New Testament, we get a
better view of the One these passages refer to. The writer of Hebrews speaks of the Lord
Jesus: “He is the radiance of the glory of God and the exact imprint of His nature, and
He upholds the universe by the word of His power” (Hebrews 1:3). The next verse
speaks of Jesus being “much superior” to the angels. Clearly, His rule over creation is
absolute. Paul makes the point that Jesus was humbled in His earthly
ministry and that His humiliation will result in glorification. In Philippians
2:5–11, Paul discusses the extent to which Jesus went to atone for sinners; Jesus’ perfect
obedience is the reason that “God has highly exalted him and bestowed on him the name
that is above every name, so that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven
and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to
the glory of God the Father” (vv. 9–11). The Suffering Servant becomes the King of kings
(see Isaiah 53:10–12). Finally, in the book of Revelation we see the Kingship of
Jesus made manifest. In chapter 5, the Lamb (Jesus) is the only one in all creation
found worthy to open the scroll containing the judgments of God (vv. 2–5). In chapter
11, we hear voices in heaven proclaiming that the kingdom of the world has become the
kingdom of Christ and that He will reign forever and ever (v. 15). In chapter 12, we read
that the authority of Christ is what causes Satan to be thrown down to earth (vv. 9–10).
In Revelation 17:12–14, the Lamb conquers all those arrayed against Him, and John
stresses that He conquers because He is King of kings and Lord of lords. Finally, in
chapter 19, we read of Jesus’ triumphant coming to strike the nations and tread the
winepress of the wrath of God, having the authority to do so because He is King of kings
and Lord of lords (vv. 11–16). Fundamentally, the idea of Jesus being King of
kings and Lord of lords means that there is no higher authority. His reign
over all things is absolute and inviolable. He is placed over all things, “far above all rule
and authority and power and dominion, and above every name that is named, not only
in this age but also in the one to come. And he put all things under his feet and gave him
as head over all things to the church, which is his body, the fullness of him who fills all
in all” (Ephesians 1:21–23).

MAJOR TITLES OF JESUS.

AUTHOR-PRINCE. Jesus is called "Author" in Acts 3:15 and Hebrews 2:10;12:2 and
"Prince" in Acts 5:31 (NIV). In each case the Greek word is the same: archegos, means
PIONEER, SOURCE, KING. "Author of salvation", the "author and perfector of our
faith" (Heb 2:10; 12:2). THE CHOSEN ONE. Jesus is "The Chosen One" par
excellence and been appointed by God to accomplish his task on earth. He
embodies all that Old Testament chosen ones were to have been. Jesus refers to his
apostles as those whom he has chosen, and church his also called God's "chosen by
virtue of being Christ's body. CHRIST, MESSIAH, ANOINTED ONE. The word
"Christ" is used to identify Jesus of Nazareth as that person whom God anointed to be
the redeemer of humanity. The significance of the name "Christ" lies in the fact that it
was a title granted to Jesus by virtue of his fulfillment of Old Testament prophecy and
by his resurrection from the dead. The name "Jesus" was a common Hebrew name and
is borne by other people in the New Testament including Barabbas and Justus (Mt
27:17; Col 4:11). But no one else bears the name Christ. It is significant that early
disciples of Jesus were not called Christians, the followers of Christ. FIRSTBORN.
Jesus is referred to by the singular form of the word "firstborn" (prototokos) in six
passages in the New Testament. He is called the physical firstborn of Mary in Luke
2:7, because he subsequently had brothers and sisters (Mt 13:55). In a spiritual sense,
he is called firstborn to differentiate him from the angels (Heb 1:6). He is the
firstborn of all creation (Col 1:15). And to those who believe in him he is the
"firstborn among many brothers" (Rom 8:29). He is unique among human beings,
because of his resurrection from the dead. He was the first one resurrected to die
no more, and thus he has the preeminence (Col 1:18; Rev 1:5). GOD. John 1:1 clearly
equates "the word" with God; in 1:14 it becomes clear that "the word" is Jesus. In John
1:18 some translations call Jesus "God the One and Only" (NIV). Romans 9:5 speaks of
"Christ, who is God over all, forever praised!" Grammatical rules permit rending
2Thes 1:12 as "the grace of our God and Lord, Jesus Christ." The same holds true
of Titus 2:13 ("our great God and Savior, Jesus Christ") and 2 Pet 1:1 ("our God
and Savior Jesus Christ"). Hebrews 1:8 calls the Son God; 1 John 5:20 says of
Jesus, "He is the true God and eternal life." Such texts confirm the impression
given indirectly in other places that Jesus merits the name "God" by virtue of his
mastery over wind and sea, personification of God's kingdom (Lk 11:20), ability to
forgive sins, and intimacy with the invisible Father etc. HOLY ONE OF GOD. In the
Old Testament, "the Holy One of God" is a divine epithet common in the prophets and
poetic literature used to communicate the separateness of the Lord. The New Testament
applies this name to Jesus (Mk 1:24; Lk 4:34; Jn 6:69; Acts 3:14 etc). LORD. Scripture
ascribes glory to Jesus Christ in numerous ways, but in naming him "Lord" it makes an
ultimate statement. In the Septuagint the word appears over nine-thousand times; in
over six-thousand of those passages kyrios replaces YHWH (YEHOVAH). Yet this is
precisely what Paul does in testifying that God the Father bestowed on the Son "the
name that is above every man" in order that all creation might acknowledge Jesus Christ
as "Lord (kyrios), to the glory of God the Father" (Phil 2:911). "Lord" thus serves as the
name par excellence for Jesus Christ. The Old Testament had predicted that a deliverer
would come in the name of Lord. He would somehow be the Lord himself. Jesus invites
reflection on this logically difficult truth in asking what David meant by affirming, "The
Lord [Heb. YHWH] says to my Lord…(Ps 110:1). "My Lord and my God!" (Jn 20:28).
ONE AND ONLY, ONLY BEGOTTEN. Jesus is called monogenes in five New
Testament passages which modern translations tend to render "one and only" (NIV). In
any case, emphasis falls on Jesus' singular status: He is uniquely related to the Father,
so close to him as to be one with him, yet as distinct from him as was necessary to allow
for full identification with humanity through the incarnation. Recent translations
correctly reflect that Jesus' status as "only begotten" underscores his
uniqueness rather than his place or mode of origin - it does not directly
refer to his virgin birth. Both as unrivaled expression of the Father's glory and as
distinct from any created human, he holds pre-eminence. He is monogenes, utterly
unique, in his person and saving role. SON OF DAVID. We can trace two lines of
interpretation regarding the Son of David in the Old Testament, one that draws
attention to a direct successor during the united monarchy, and the other that applies
the earlier promises to the coming of a future individual. Both are crucial to
understanding the title for Jesus in the New Testament. Mention of the Son of David
begins in the Old Testament with the oracle the prophet Nathan delivers to David (2Sam
7:12-16). God promises David offspring to succeed him. God "will be his father, " and
David's house and kingdom will be established forever. Numerous psalms highlight the
same excitement over the continuation of the Davidic line. The New Testament
addresses this issue by affirming that Jesus is both a direct descendent of David and yet
more than another human successor. Jesus was both "born through the seed of David
according to the flesh and "foreseen as the Son of God in power by the Spirit of
sanctification through the resurrection of the dead. In 2 Tim 2:8 we also find the
resurrection and Christ's having "descended from David" in a creedal context. SON OF
GOD. The phrase "Son of God" is a title used of Jesus to indicate that he is divine in
nature, just as the title "Son of Man, " among other things, indicates that he is human.
After his conversion and call to apostleship, Paul immediately began to declare in the
synagogues that Jesus was indeed the Son of God. SON OF MAN. Jesus frequently
refers to the Son of Man in the third person, causing some to assume he was not
speaking of himself. Nevertheless, the term seems to be not only a self-designation, but
Jesus' favorite one.

DESIGNATIONS BOTH YEHOWAH AND JESUS SHARE

BOTH YEHOWAH AND JESUS ARE CREATOR. COMPARE COL 1:15-17
WITH ISA 44:24 who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of all creation;
for in him were all things created, in the heavens and upon the earth, things visible and
things invisible, whether thrones or dominions or principalities or powers; all things
have been created through him, and unto him; and he is before all things, and in him all
things consist. Jehovah, thy Redeemer, and he that formed thee from the womb: I am
Jehovah, that maketh all things; that stretcheth forth the heavens alone; that spreadeth
abroad the earth (who is with me?).

JESUS IS CALLED JEHOVAH GOD. Mt 4:7 At tempation Jesus said: do not tempt
God your Lord. In Isaiah 6:5 the prophet said, "Mine eyes have seen the King, the LORD
(Jehovah) of hosts." Isaiah saw YEHOVAH. The Apostle John referred to this same
event and made it very clear that the Person whom Isaiah saw was actually Jesus Christ:
"These things said Esaias [Isaiah], when he saw His [Christ’s] glory, and spake of
Him (referring in the context to Christ)" John 12:41. The Old Testament repeatedly
refers to Jehovah as Israel's ROCK (Deuteronomy 32:3, 4, 18; Psalm 18:2; Psalm 62:1-
2). The New Testament clearly identifies this ROCK as Christ (1 Cor 10:4). In Exodus
3:14-15 we learn that JEHOVAH is the great "I AM." According to the Gospel of John,
Who is the great "I AM" (see John 6:35; 8:12; 8:24; 8:58; 10:9; 10:11; 11:25; 14:6; 18:5-
6). KING OF KINGS LORD OF LORDS. In Isaiah 24:23 and Zephaniah 3:15-
17 we learn that JEHOVAH Himself will reign in Jerusalem during the coming
kingdom age and will be in the midst of His people. The New Testament tell us about the
identity of this future, millennial King (Rev 19:11-16; 20:4,6) as Jesus Christ. Deut 10:17
says, "[JEHOVAH] YOUR GOD IS THE GOD OF GODS AND THE LORD OF LORDS,
the great, the mighty, and the awesome God." Yet Revelation 17:14 applies the title
"LORD OF LORDS" TO THE LAMB, JESUS CHRIST. In Isaiah 8:13-14 prophetically
states that JEHOVAH will be "for a STONE OF STUMBLING AND FOR A ROCK
OF OFFENCE." In 1 Peter 2:7-8 these verses in Isaiah are applied to Jesus Christ. In
Isaiah 6:5, when Isaiah saw his vision of heaven, with the Lord high and lifted up, he
said, "Woe is me, for I am ruined! Because I am a man of unclean lips, And I live among
a people of unclean lips; For my eyes have seen the King, the Lord [Jehovah] of hosts."
Yet the apostle John, referring to this same incident, writes that ISAIAH SAW
CHRIST'S GLORY, "AND HE SPOKE OF HIM" (Jn. 12:41). In the famous
prophecy of John the Baptist found in Isaiah 40:3, Jesus is called Jehovah: "A voice is
calling, 'Clear the way for [Jehovah] in the wilderness; make smooth in the desert a
highway for our God." Jer 23:5-6, Jehovah our righteousness - When I shall raise up for
David a righteous Branch; and He will reign as king and act wisely And do justice and
righteousness in the land. Jesus claimed to be Lord of the Sabbath, although the
Bible indicates that God held such title. "The First and the Last, Alpha and Omega". It is
a title that can hardly be shared with any created being: The Alpha and the Omega,
the first and the last, the One who is and who was and who is to come, the
almighty. In Isaiah 10:20, "Jehovah, the Holy One of Israel." And in Acts 3:13-4, Peter
tells the men of Jerusalem, "You delivered up [Jesus], and disowned in the presence of
Pilate, when he had decided to release Him. You disowned the Holy and Righteous
One."
THE NT WRITERS CLEARLY BELIEVED THAT THE
LORD JESUS CHRIST WAS THE INCARNATION OF
YEHOWAH GOD
"Into your hand I COMMIT MY SPIRIT; you have redeemed me, O Yahweh,
faithful God." Psalm 31:5. "And as they were stoning Stephen, he called out, ‘LORD
JESUS, RECEIVE MY SPIRIT.’ And falling to his knees he cried out with a loud
voice, ‘Lord, do not hold this sin against them.’ And when he had said this, he fell
asleep.’" Acts 7:59-60. Also see Acts 9:10-14, 17, 21.

"And it shall come to pass that everyone who CALLS ON THE NAME OF

YAHWEH SHALL BE SAVED. For in Mount Zion and in Jerusalem there shall be
those who escape, as Yahweh has said, and among the survivors shall be those whom
Yahweh calls." Joel 2:32. "because, if you CONFESS WITH YOUR MOUTH THAT
JESUS IS LORD and believe in your heart that God raised him from the
dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes and is justified, and with the
mouth one confesses and is saved. For the Scripture says, ‘Everyone who believes in him
will not be put to shame.’ For there is no distinction between Jew and Greek; the same
Lord is Lord of all, bestowing his riches on all who call on him. For ‘everyone who calls
on the name of the Lord will be saved.’" Romans 10:9-13. "To the church of God that is
in Corinth, to those sanctified in Christ Jesus, called to be saints together with all those
who in every place CALL UPON THE NAME OF OUR LORD JESUS CHRIST,
both their Lord and ours:" 1 Corinthians 1:2

"Yahweh is my strength and my song, and HE HAS BECOME MY

SALVATION; this is my God, and I will praise him, my father's God, and I will exalt
him." Exodus 15:2. "Salvation belongs to Yahweh; your blessing be on your people!"
Psalm 3:8. "For God alone my soul waits in silence; from him comes my salvation."
Psalm 62:1. "Yahweh is my strength and my song; he has become my salvation ... I
thank you that you have answered me and have become my salvation." Psalm 118:14,
21. "Declare and present your case; let them take counsel together! Who told this long
ago? Who declared it of old? Was it not I, Yahweh? And there is no other God
besides me, a righteous God and a Savior ; there is none besides me. Turn to
me and be saved, all the ends of the earth! For I am God, and there is no other. By
myself I have sworn; from my mouth has gone out in righteousness a word that shall not
return: To me every knee shall bow, every tongue shall swear allegiance. Only in
Yahweh, it shall be said of me, are righteousness and strength; to him shall come and
be ashamed all who were incensed against him. In Yahweh all the offspring of
Israel shall be justified and shall glory." Isaiah 45:21-25. "For it was fitting that he, for
whom and by whom all things exist, in bringing many sons to glory, should make the
founder of their salvation perfect through suffering." Hebrews 2:10. "And
being made perfect, he became the source of eternal salvation to all who obey him,"
Hebrews 5:9. "and crying out with a loud voice, ‘Salvation belongs to our God who sits
on the throne, and to the Lamb!’" Rev 7:10
"You are to speak to the people of Israel and say, ‘Above all you shall keep my Sabbaths,
for this is a sign between me and you throughout your generations, that you may know
that I, YAHWEH, SANCTIFY YOU.’" Exodus 31:13. "Then the nations will know that
I am Yahweh who sanctifies Israel, when my sanctuary is in their midst forevermore."
Eze 37:28. "to open their eyes, so that they may turn from darkness to light and from the
power of Satan to God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins and a place among
those who are sanctified by faith in me." Acts 26:18. "He is the source of your life in
Christ JESUS, WHOM GOD MADE OUR WISDOM  AND OUR
RIGHTEOUSNESS AND SANCTIFICATION AND REDEMPTION." 1 Cor 1:30.
"And such were some of you. But you were washed, you were sanctified, you were
justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and by the Spirit of our God." 1 Cor 6:11.
"Therefore God has highly exalted him and bestowed on him the name that is above
every name, so that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on
earth and under the earth, and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord,
to the glory of God the Father." Phil 2:9-11. "For he who sanctifies and those who are
sanctified all have one origin. That is why he is not ashamed to call them brothers," Heb
2:11. "And by that will we have been sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus
Christ once for all." Heb 10:10. "Simeon Peter, a servant and apostle of Jesus Christ, To
those who have obtained a faith of equal standing with ours by the righteousness of
our God and Savior Jesus Christ:" 2 Pet 1:1.

"And he said, ‘My presence will go with you, and I WILL GIVE YOU REST.’ And he
said to him, ‘If your presence will not go with me, do not bring us up from here.’"
Exodus 33:14-15. "Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you
rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and lowly in
heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is
light." Mt 11:28-30.

"loving the LORD your God, obeying his voice and holding fast to him,  for he
is your life and length of days, that you may dwell in the land that the LORD swore to
your fathers, to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob, to give them." Deuteronomy 30:20.
"For you have died, and your life is hidden with Christ in God. When Christ who is
your life appears, then you also will appear with him in glory." Colossians 3:3-4.

"See now that I, even I, am he, and there is no god beside me; I KILL AND I MAKE
ALIVE; I WOUND AND I HEAL;  and there is none that can deliver out of
my hand." Deuteronomy 32:39. "Also henceforth I am he; there is none who can
deliver from my hand; I work, and who can turn it back?" Isaiah 43:13. "I GIVE THEM
ETERNAL LIFE, and they will never perish, and no one will snatch them out of my
hand. My Father, who has given them to me, is greater than all, and no one is able to
snatch them out of the Father's hand. I and the Father are one." John 10:28-30.

"Because of your promise, and according to your own heart, you have brought about all
this greatness, to make your servant know it. Therefore, you are great, O Yahweh God.
For there is none like you, and there is no God besides you, according to all that we have
heard with our ears. And who is like your people Israel, the one nation on earth  whom
God went TO REDEEM TO BE HIS PEOPLE, making himself a name and doing
for them great and awesome things by driving out before your people, whom you
redeemed for yourself from Egypt, a nation and its gods? And you established for
yourself your people Israel to be your people forever. And you, O LORD, became their
God." 2 Samuel 7:21-24. "They shall not defile themselves anymore with their idols and
their detestable things, or with any of their transgressions. But I will save them from
all the backslidings in which they have sinned, and will cleanse them; and
they shall be my people, and I will be their God ." Ezekiel 37:23, "waiting for our
blessed hope, the appearing of the glory of OUR GREAT GOD AND SAVIOR
JESUS CHRIST, WHO GAVE HIMSELF FOR US TO REDEEM US from all
lawlessness and to purify for himself a people for his own possession who are zealous
for good works." Titus 2:11-14.

"The Spirit of Yahweh speaks by me; his word is on my tongue." 2 Samuel 23:2.

"You gave your good Spirit to instruct them and did not withhold your manna from
their mouth and gave them water for their thirst ... Many years you bore with them and
warned them by your Spirit through your prophets. Yet they would not give ear.
Therefore, you gave them into the hand of the peoples of the lands." Nehemiah 9:20, 30.
"Concerning this salvation, the prophets who prophesied about the grace that was to be
yours searched and inquired carefully, inquiring what person or time the Spirit of
Christ in them was indicating when he predicted the sufferings of Christ and the
subsequent glories. It was revealed to them that they were serving not themselves but
you, in the things that have now been announced to you through those who preached
the good news to you by the Holy Spirit sent from heaven, things into which angels long
to look." 1 Peter 1:10-12.

"For you are my lamp, O Yahweh, and my God lightens my darkness." 2 Samuel 22:29.
"Yahweh is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear?" Psalm 27:1. "For
with you is the fountain of life; in your light do we see light." Psalm 36:9. "The sun
shall be no more your light by day, nor for brightness shall the moon give you light;
but Yahweh will be your everlasting light, and your God will be your glory. Your sun
shall no more go down, nor your moon withdraw itself; for Yahweh will be your
everlasting light, and your days of mourning shall be ended." Isaiah 60:19-20. "I will
make a covenant of peace with them. It shall be an everlasting covenant with them. And
I will set them in their land and multiply them, and will set my sanctuary in their midst
forevermore. My dwelling place shall be with them, and I will be their God, and they
shall be my people. Then the nations will know that I am the LORD who sanctifies
Israel, when my sanctuary is in their midst forevermore." Ezekiel 37:26-28

"In him was life, and the life was  the light of men… The true light, which
enlightens everyone, was coming into the world." John 1:4, 9. "Again Jesus spoke to
them, saying, ‘I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will not walk in
darkness, but will have the light of life.’" John 8:12. "We must work the works of him
who sent me while it is day; night is coming, when no one can work. As long as I am in
the world, I am the light of the world." John 9:4-5. "I have come into the world as light,
so that whoever believes in me may not remain in darkness." John 12:46. "And I saw no
temple in the city, for its temple is the Lord God the Almighty and the Lamb. And the
city has no need of sun or moon to shine on it, for the glory of God gives it light, and its
lamp is the Lamb. By its light will the nations walk, and the kings of the earth will bring
their glory into it," Revelation 21:22-24.

"And you, Solomon my son, know the God of your father and serve him with a whole
heart and with a willing mind, for Yahweh searches all hearts and understands
every plan and thought. If you seek him, he will be found by you, but if you forsake
him, he will cast you off forever." 1 Chronicles 28:9. "But, O Yahweh of hosts, who
judges righteously, who tests the heart and the mind, let me see your vengeance upon
them, for to you have I committed my cause." Jeremiah 11:20. "I Yahweh search the
heart and test the mind, to give every man according to his ways, according to the fruit
of his deeds." Jeremiah 17:10. "Therefore do not pronounce judgment before the
time, before the Lord comes, who will bring to light the things now hidden in darkness
and will disclose the purposes of the heart . Then each one will receive his
commendation from God." 1 Corinthians 4:5. According to Paul, the Lord that is coming
is none other than the Lord Jesus Christ: "so that you are not lacking in any spiritual
gift, as you wait for the revealing of our Lord Jesus Christ, who will sustain you to the
end, guiltless in the day of our Lord Jesus Christ." 1 Cor 1:7-8. "And to the angel of the
church in Thyatira write: ‘The words of the Son of God, who has eyes like a flame of fire,
and whose feet are like burnished bronze. I know your works, your love and faith and
service and patient endurance, and that your latter works exceed the first… and I will
strike her children dead. And all the churches will know that I am he who searches
mind and heart, and I will give to each of you as your works deserve .’" Rev
2:18-19, 23.

"For the eyes of Yahweh range throughout the earth  to strengthen those whose
hearts are fully committed to him. You have done a foolish thing, and from now on you
will be at war." 2 Chro 16:9."Yahweh is in his holy temple; Yahweh’s throne is in
heaven; his eyes see, his eyelids test, the children of man." Ps 11:4. "So he said to me,
‘This is the word of Yahweh to Zerubbabel: 'Not by might nor by power,  but by my
Spirit,' says Yahweh of hosts… These seven are the eyes of Yahweh, which range
throughout the earth" Zechariah 4:6, 10. "To the angel of the church in Sardis write:
These are the words of him who holds the seven spirits of God and the seven stars. I
know your deeds; you have a reputation of being alive, but you are dead." Revelation 3:1.
"Then I saw a Lamb, looking as if it had been slain, standing in the center of the throne,
encircled by the four living creatures and the elders. He had seven horns and seven
eyes, which are the seven spirits of God sent out into all the earth ."
Revelation 5:6.

"You are Yahweh, you alone.  You have made heaven, the heaven of
heavens, with all their host, the earth and all that is on it, the seas and all that is in
them; and you preserve all of them; and the host of heaven worships you." Nehemiah
9:6. "For by him all things were created, in heaven and on earth, visible and
invisible, whether thrones or dominions or rulers or authorities - all things were
created through him and for him. And he is before all things, and in him all things hold
together." Col 1:16-17. "but in these last days he has spoken to us by his Son, whom he
appointed the heir of all things, through whom also he created the world. He is
the radiance of the glory of God and the exact imprint of his nature, and he upholds
the universe by the word of his power . After making purification for sins, he sat
down at the right hand of the Majesty on high," Heb 1:2-3.

"O Yahweh, our Lord, how majestic is your name in all the earth! You have set your
glory above the heavens. Out of the mouth of babes and infants, you have established
strength because of your foes, to still the enemy and the avenger." Psalm 8:1-2. "But
when the chief priests and the scribes saw the wonderful things that he did, and the
children crying out in the temple, ‘Hosanna to the Son of David!’ they were
indignant, and they said to him, ‘Do you hear what these are saying?’ And Jesus said to
them, ‘Yes; have you never read, " Out of the mouth of infants and nursing babies you
have prepared praise"?’" Matthew 21:15-16.

"Lift up your heads, O gates! And be lifted up, O ancient doors, that the King of
glory may come in. Who is this King of glory? Yahweh, strong and mighty,
Yahweh, mighty in battle! Lift up your heads, O gates! And lift them up, O ancient
doors, that the King of glory may come in. Who is this King of glory? Yahweh of hosts,
he is the King of glory! Selah" Psalm 24:7-10. "And I will be to her a wall of fire all
around, declares Yahweh, and I will be the glory in her midst." Zechariah 2:5. "None of

him!" Psalm 34:8. "But the LORD of hosts, him you shall regard as holy. Let him be
your fear, and let him be your dread. And he will become a sanctuary and a stone of
offense and a rock of stumbling to both houses of Israel, a trap and a snare to the
inhabitants of Jerusalem." Isaiah 8:13-14. "if indeed you have tasted that the Lord is
good. As you come to him, a living stone rejected by men  but in the sight of
God chosen and precious, you yourselves like living stones are being built up as a
spiritual house, to be a holy priesthood, to offer spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God
through Jesus Christ. For it stands in Scripture: ‘Behold, I am laying in Zion a stone, a
cornerstone chosen and precious, and whoever believes in him will not be put to shame.’
So the honor is for you who believe, but for those who do not believe, ‘The stone that the
builders rejected has become the cornerstone,’ and ‘A stone of stumbling, and a
rock of offense.’ They stumble because they disobey the word, as they were destined
to do." 1 Peter 2:3-8. "but in your hearts regard Christ the Lord as holy, always being
prepared to make a defense to anyone who asks you for a reason for the hope that is in
you." 1 Peter 3:15.

he went away, proclaiming throughout the whole city how much Jesus had done for
him." Luke 8:39.

you, O Lord, belongs steadfast love. For you will render to a man according to
his work. Psalm 62:11-12. "For he is our God, and we are the people of his pasture,  and
the sheep of his hand. Today, if you hear his voice, do not harden your hearts, as at
Meribah, as on the day at Massah in the wilderness," Psalm 95:7-8. "Behold, the Lord
Yahweh comes with might, and his arm rules for him; behold, his reward is with
him, and his recompense before him. He will tend his flock like a shepherd;
he will gather the lambs in his arms; he will carry them in his bosom, and gently lead
those that are with young." Isaiah 40:10-11. "Behold, Yahweh has proclaimed to the end
of the earth: Say to the daughter of Zion, ‘Behold, your salvation comes; behold, his
reward is with him, and his recompense before him.’" Isaiah 62:11. "For the Son of Man
is going to come with his angels in the glory of his Father, and then he will repay
each person according to what he has done ." Matthew 16:27. "I am the good
shepherd. The good shepherd lays down his life for the sheep… I am the good
shepherd. I know my own and my own know me, just as the Father knows me and I
know the Father; and I lay down my life for the sheep. And I have other sheep that are
not of this fold. I must bring them also, and they will listen to my voice. So there will be
one flock, one shepherd." John 10:11, 14-16. "My sheep listen to my voice ; I know them,
and they follow me. I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; no one can
snatch them out of my hand." John 10:27-28. "‘Behold, I am coming soon,
bringing my recompense with me, to repay everyone for what he has done ’
... He who testifies to these things says, ‘Surely I am coming soon.’ Amen. Come, Lord
Jesus!" Revelation 22:12, 20.

among men, even among the rebellious, that Yahweh God may dwell there." Psalm
68:18. "Am I a God at hand, declares Yahweh, and not a God afar off? Can a man hide
himself in secret places so that I cannot see him? declares Yahweh. Do I not fill heaven
and earth? Declares Yahweh." Jeremiah 23:23-24. "But grace was given to each one of
us according to the measure of Christ's gift. Therefore, it says, ‘When he ascended on
high he led a host of captives, and he gave gifts to men .’ (In saying, ‘He
ascended,’ what does it mean but that he had also descended into the lower parts of the
earth? He who descended is the one who also ascended far above all the heavens, that
he might fill all things.)" Ephesians 4:7-10.

"Your word, O Yahweh, is eternal; it stands firm in the heavens." Psalm 119:89.
"The grass withers and the flowers fall, but the word of our God stands forever."
Isaiah 40:8. "Heaven and earth will pass away,  but my words will never pass
away." Mark 13:31; cf. Matthew 24:35.

"O Israel, hope in Yahweh! For with Yahweh there is steadfast love, and with him is
plentiful redemption. And he will redeem Israel from all his iniquities ." Psalm
130:7-8. "Say to those who have an anxious heart, ‘Be strong; fear not! Behold, your
God will come with vengeance, with the recompense of God. He will come and save
you.’" Isaiah 35:4. "‘She will bear a son, and you shall call his name Jesus, for he will
save his people from their sins .’ All this took place to fulfill what the Lord had
spoken by the prophet: ‘Behold, the virgin shall conceive and bear a son, and they shall
call his name Immanuel’ (which means, God with us)." Matthew 1:21-23.
"‘O my God,’ I say, ‘take me not away in the midst of my days - you whose years endure
throughout all generations!’ Of old you laid the foundation of the earth, and the
heavens are the work of your hands. They will perish, but you will remain; they
will all wear out like a garment. You will change them like a robe, and they will pass
away, but you are the same, and your years have no end." Psalm 102:24-27. "But of
the Son he says ... And, ‘You, Lord, laid the foundation of the earth in the
beginning, and the heavens are the work of your hands; they will perish, but
you remain; they will all wear out like a garment, like a robe you will roll them up, like
a garment they will be changed. But you are the same, and your years will have no
end.’" Hebrews 1:8a, 10-12.

"And it came to pass in the year in which king Ozias died, that I saw the Lord sitting
on a high and exalted throne, and the house was full of his glory. And
seraphs stood round about him: each one had six wings: and with two they
covered their face, and with two they covered their feet, and with two they flew. And one
cried to the other, and they said, Holy, holy, holy, is the Lord of hosts: the whole earth is
full of his glory’. And the lintel shook at the voice they uttered, and the house was filled
with smoke. And I said, Woe is me, for I am pricked to the heart; for being a man, and
having unclean lips, I dwell in the midst of a people having unclean lips; and I have seen
with mine eyes the King, the Lord of hosts… And I heard the voice of the Lord, saying,
Whom shall I send, and who will go to this people? And I said, behold, I am  here, send
me. And he said, Go, and say to this people, Ye shall hear indeed, but ye shall not
understand; and ye shall see indeed, but ye shall not perceive. For the heart of this
people has become gross, and their ears are dull of hearing, and their eyes have they
closed; lest they should see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and understand
with their heart, and be converted, and I should heal them." Isaiah 6:1-5, 8-10. "Even
after Jesus had done all these miraculous signs in their presence, they still would not
believe in him. This was to fulfill the word of Isaiah the prophet: ‘Lord, who has believed
our message and to whom has the arm of the Lord been revealed?’ For this reason they
could not believe, because, as Isaiah says elsewhere: ‘He has blinded their eyes and
deadened their hearts, so they can neither see with their eyes, nor understand with
their hearts, nor turn-and I would heal them.’ Isaiah said this because he saw
Jesus' glory and spoke about." John 12:37-41.

"Who has performed and done this, calling the generations from the beginning? I,
Yahweh, the first, and with the last; I am he." Isaiah 41:4. "Thus says Yahweh,
the King of Israel and his Redeemer, Yahweh of hosts: ‘I am the first and I am the last;
besides me there is no god." Isaiah 44:6. "Listen to me, O Jacob, and Israel, whom I
called! I am he; I am the first, and I am the last." Isaiah 48:12. "When I saw him, I fell at
his feet as though dead. But he laid his right hand on me, saying, ‘Fear not, I am the
first and the last, and the living one. I died, and behold I am alive
forevermore, and I have the keys of Death and Hades. ’" Revelation 1:17-18.
"And to the angel of the church in Smyrna write: ‘The words of the first and the last,
who died and came to life.’" Revelation 2:8. "Behold, I am coming soon, bringing my
recompense with me, to repay everyone for what he has done. I am the Alpha and the
Omega, the first and the last, the beginning and the end." Revelation 22:12-13.
"‘You are my witnesses,’ declares Yahweh, ‘and my servant whom I have chosen,
that you may know and believe me and understand that I am he. Before me no god was
formed, nor shall there be any after me.’" Isaiah 43:10. "But you will receive power when
the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem and
in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth." Acts 1:8.

"I am Yahweh; that is my name; my glory I give to no other, nor my praise

to carved idols." Isaiah 42:8. "For my own sake, for my own sake, I do it, for how
should my name be profaned? My glory I will not give to another." Isaiah 48:11. "And
now, Father, glorify me in your own presence with the glory that I had with you
before the world existed… Father, I desire that they also, whom you have given me, may
be with me where I am, to see my glory that you have given me because you loved me
before the foundation of the world." John 17:5, 24.

"for my people have committed two evils: they have forsaken me, the fountain of
living waters, and hewed out cisterns for themselves, broken cisterns that can hold
no water." Jeremiah 2:13. "On the last day of the feast, the great day, Jesus stood up and
cried out, ‘If anyone thirsts, let him come to me and drink. Whoever believes in
me, as the Scripture has said, "Out of his heart will flow rivers of living water."’" John
7:37-38.

"Thus says Yahweh: ‘Cursed is the man who trusts in man and makes flesh his strength,
whose heart turns away from Yahweh. He is like a shrub in the desert, and shall not see
any good come. He shall dwell in the parched places of the wilderness, in an uninhabited
salt land. Blessed is the man who trusts in Yahweh, whose trust is Yahweh .
He is like a tree planted by water, that sends out its roots by the stream, and does not
fear when heat comes, for its leaves remain green, and is not anxious in the year of
drought, for it does not cease to bear fruit.’" Jeremiah 17:5-8. "Let not your hearts be
troubled. Believe in God; believe also in me." John 14:1. "which is why I suffer as I
do. But I am not ashamed, for I know whom I have believed, and I am convinced that he
is able to guard until that Day what has been entrusted to me." 2 Timothy 1:12. "And
behold, the glory of the God of Israel was coming from the east. And the sound of his
coming was like the sound of many waters, and the earth shone with his glory."
Ezekiel 43:2. "As I looked, thrones were placed, and the Ancient of days took his
seat; his clothing was white as snow, and the hair of his head like pure
wool; his throne was fiery flames; its wheels were burning fire. A stream of fire
issued and came out from before him; a thousand thousands served him, and ten
thousand times ten thousand stood before him; the court sat in judgment, and the books
were opened." Daniel 7:9-10. "I saw in the night visions, and behold, with the clouds of
heaven there came one like a son of man , and he came to the Ancient of Days and
was presented before him. And to him was given dominion and glory and a kingdom,
that all peoples, nations, and languages should serve him; his dominion is an everlasting
dominion, which shall not pass away, and his kingdom one that shall not be destroyed."
Daniel 7:13-14. "Then I turned to see the voice that was speaking to me, and on turning I
saw seven golden lampstands, and in the midst of the lampstands one like a son of
man, clothed with a long robe and with a golden sash around his chest. The hairs of
his head were white like wool, as white as snow . His eyes were like a flame
of fire, his feet were like burnished bronze, refined in a furnace, and his
voice was like the roar of many waters . In his right hand he held seven stars,
from his mouth came a sharp two-edged sword, and his face was like the sun shining in
full strength. When I saw him, I fell at his feet as though dead. But he laid his right hand
on me, saying, ‘Fear not, I am the first and the last, and the living one. I died, and
behold I am alive forevermore, and I have the keys of Death and Hades.’"
Revelation 1:12-18.

"Behold, a day is coming for the LORD, when the spoil taken from you will be divided in
your midst. For I will gather all the nations against Jerusalem to battle, and the city
shall be taken and the houses plundered and the women raped. Half of the city shall go
out into exile, but the rest of the people shall not be cut off from the city. Then the LORD
will go out and fight against those nations as when he fights on a day of battle.  On that
day HIS FEET shall stand on the Mount of Olives that lies before Jerusalem on
the east, and the Mount of Olives shall be split in two from east to west by a very wide
valley, so that one half of the Mount shall move northward, and the other half
southward. And you shall flee to the valley of my mountains, for the valley of the
mountains shall reach to Azal. And you shall flee as you fled from the earthquake in the
days of Uzziah king of Judah. Then the LORD my God will come, and all the
holy ones with him." Zechariah 14:1-5 "And when he had said these things, as they
were looking on, he was lifted up, and a cloud took him out of their sight. And while they
were gazing into heaven as he went, behold, two men stood by them in white robes, and
said, ‘Men of Galilee, why do you stand looking into heaven? This Jesus, who was
taken up from you into heaven, will come in the same way as you saw him
go into heaven.’ Then they returned to Jerusalem from the mount called
Olivet, which is near Jerusalem, a Sabbath day's journey away." Acts 1:9-12. "May he
strengthen your hearts so that you will be blameless and holy in the presence of our God
and Father when our Lord Jesus comes with all his holy ones ." 1 Thes 3:13.
"and to grant relief to you who are afflicted as well as to us, when the Lord Jesus is
revealed from heaven with his mighty angels in flaming fire, inflicting
vengeance on those who do not know God and on those who do not obey the gospel of
our Lord Jesus. They will suffer the punishment of eternal destruction, away from the
presence of the Lord and from the glory of his might, when he comes on that day to be
glorified in his saints, and to be marveled at among all who have believed, because
our testimony to you was believed." 2 Thes 1:7-10.

"For I Yahweh do not change; therefore you, O children of Jacob, are not
consumed." Malachi 3:6. "Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and
forever." Heb 13:8

FURTHER OT NT VERSE COMPARISON PROVES JESUS

IS YEHOWAH

Compare Isa 6:1- with Jn 12:39-41 For this cause they could not believe, for that

THERE ARE MANY OTHER PASSAGES ALSO IN THE BIBLE ABOUT
YEHOWAH WHICH ARE CLEARLY APPLIED TO JESUS CHRIST. THERE
ARE ALSO SPECIFIC PROPHECIES ABOUT JEHOVAH WHICH ARE
APPLIED TO JESUS CHRIST. Listing all of them are beyond the scope of this study.
The interested readers can easily find them through internet search.

Mt 12:6-8 But I say unto you, That in this place is one greater than the temple… For the
Son of Man is LORD OF THE SABBATH. Mk 14:61-65 Again the high priest asked
him, “Are you the Christ, the Son of the Blessed One?  "I am," said Jesus. "And you
will see the Son of Man sitting at the right hand of the Mighty One and
COMING ON THE CLOUDS OF HEAVEN." The high priest tore his clothes. "Why
do we need any more witnesses?" he asked. "You have heard the blasphemy. What do
you think?" They all condemned him as worthy of death. (Daniel 7:13-14).

IN THE OLD TESTAMENT BOOK OF ISAIAH IT WAS PROPHESIED THAT

GOD HIMSELF WOULD APPEAR TO HIS PEOPLE AFTER A VOICE CRYING
IN THE WILDERNESS PREPARES HIS WAY: Comfort, comfort my people, says
your God. Speak tenderly to Jerusalem, and cry to her that her warfare is ended, that her
iniquity is pardoned, that she has received from the LORD’s hand double for all her
sins. A voice cries: "In the wilderness prepare the way of the LORD ; make straight
in the desert a highway for our God. Every valley shall be lifted up, and every
mountain and hill be made low; the uneven ground shall become level, and the rough
places a plain. And the glory of the LORD shall be revealed, and all flesh shall see it
together, for the mouth of the LORD has spoken." … Get you up to a high mountain, O
Zion, herald of good news; lift up your voice with strength, O Jerusalem, herald of good
news; lift it up, fear not; say to the cities of Judah, "Behold your God!" Behold, the
Lord GOD comes with might, and his arm rules for him; behold, his reward is with
him, and his recompense before him. He will tend his flock like a shepherd; he will
gather the lambs in his arms; he will carry them in his bosom, and gently lead those that
are with young. (Isaiah 40:1-5, 9-11, ESV). "The voice of one crying in the
wilderness: 'Prepare the way of the Lord, make his paths straight. Every valley
shall be filled, and every mountain and hill shall be made low, and the crooked shall
become straight, and the rough places shall become level ways, and all flesh shall see
the salvation of God.'" (Luke 3:1-6, ESV). "I baptize you with water, but he who is
mightier than I is coming, the strap of whose sandals I am not worthy to untie. He
will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and with fire.  (Luke 3:16, ESV). He [John the
Baptist] said, "I am the voice of one crying out in the wilderness, 'Make
straight the way of the Lord,' as the prophet Isaiah said." (John 1:23, ESV). The next
day he saw Jesus coming toward him, and said, "Behold, the Lamb of God, who
takes away the sin of the world! This is he of whom I said , 'After me comes a man
who ranks before me, because he was before me.' I myself did not know him, but
for this purpose I came baptizing with water, that he might be revealed to Israel." And
John bore witness: "I saw the Spirit descend from heaven like a dove, and it remained
on him. I myself did not know him, but he who sent me to baptize with water said to me,
'He on whom you see the Spirit descend and remain, this is he who baptizes with the
Holy Spirit.' And I have seen and have borne witness that this is the Son of God."
(John 1:29-34, ESV). This means that when Jesus appears it is Yahweh
appearing because Jesus is Yahweh. To summarize: These verses affirm (1)
that John the Baptist is the voice of one crying in the wilderness who makes
the way for Yahweh God prophesied in the Old Testament book of Isaiah.
However, (2) John the Baptist made the way for Jesus Christ! Therefore, (3)
Jesus Christ is Yahweh God who was predicted to come to his people!

Thomas said to him, "MY LORD AND MY GOD!" Then Jesus told him, "Because you
have seen me, you have believed; blessed are those who have not seen and yet have
believed. (John 20:28-29). Instead of rebuking Thomas Jesus blesses his confession of
faith showing that Jesus was not opposed to being identified as Lord God.

Acts 2:38: Peter replied, "Repent and BE BAPTIZED, EVERY ONE OF YOU,  IN
THE NAME OF JESUS CHRIST for the forgiveness of your sins. And you will receive
the gift of the Holy Spirit. Since Jesus is the person we are baptized in the name of, or
into, it therefore follows that in the light of these important previous cultural practices –
Jesus is the God of the Christians.

So then, about eating food sacrificed to idols: We know that an idol is nothing at all in
the world and that there is no God but one. For even if there are so-called gods, whether
in heaven or on earth (as indeed there are many "gods" and many "lords"), yet for us
there is but one God, the Father, from whom all things came and for whom we live; and
THERE IS BUT ONE LORD, JESUS CHRIST, through whom all things came
and through whom we live. (1 Cor 8:4-6). HENCE OT YEHOVAH IS JESUS.

IN THE DAY OF THE LORD JESUS. (2 Corinthians 1:14). BY USING THIS KIND
OF LANGUAGE ABOUT JESUS SUCH AS THE “DAY OF THE LORD JESUS,” PAUL
SHOWS THAT HE BELIEVES JESUS IS YEHOWAH BECAUSE ACCORDING
TO THE OLD TESTAMENT THEY WERE EXPECTING THE DAY OF
YEHOWAH AND HIS GLORIOUS RETURN. Alas for the day! For the day of the
LORD is near, and as destruction from the Almighty it comes. (Joel 1:15). For
the day of the LORD is great and very awesome; who can endure it? … The sun shall
be turned to darkness, and the moon to blood, before the great and awesome day of
the LORD comes. (Joel 2:1, 11, 31). Therefore, on the day of the Lord Jesus,
when he returns, it is actually the day of YEHOWAH because he is
returning. The conclusion is that Jesus is YEHOWAWH.

According to the Hebrew Scriptures men gained JUSTIFICATION BY BELIEVING

IN YEHOWAH. In the same way, "Abraham believed God, and God counted
him as righteous because of his faith." (Galatians 3:6). However, in the very same
letter Paul makes it clear that it is faith in the Lord Jesus Christ that grants
eternal justification. THUS, ACCORDING TO PAUL, FAITH IN YAHWEH
AND FAITH IN THE PERSON OF JESUS CHRIST IS THE EXACT SAME
THING. THAT IS HOW PEOPLE OF OT GOT SAVED BY OBEYING
YEHOWAH. BOTH NAMES INDICATE THE SAME PERSON. Know that a man
is not justified by observing the law, but by faith in Jesus Christ. So we, too, have
put our faith in Christ Jesus that we may be justified by faith in Christ and not
by observing the law, because by observing the law no one will be justified (Galatians
2:16). Here belief in Christ has the same power as belief in YEHOWAH with
respect to justification of human beings. Just as faith in YEHOWAH granted
justification, so does faith in Christ. Jesus is YEHOWAH in that it is in him
that eternal justification is found.

In Eph 1:19-23 it is stated that the Lord Jesus has been exalted to the highest
position imaginable, one belonging to God; and that Christ spiritually fills
his entire church with his presence and also filling everything else as well
(Eph 4:7-10).  This is an attribute of Almighty God because only he is everywhere and is
able to fill all things.

Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with

God: But made himself of no reputation,  and took upon him the form of a
servant, and was made in the likeness of men… : And being found in fashion as a
man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross.
Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is
above every name: That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow,  of
things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth; And that
every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God
the Father. (Phil 2:6-11). Was it not I, the LORD? And there is no God apart from me,
a righteous God and a Savior; there is none but me." Turn to me and be saved, all you
ends of the earth; for I am God, and there is no other. By myself I have sworn, my mouth
has uttered in all integrity a word that will not be revoked:  Before me every knee
will bow; by me every tongue will swear. (Isa 45:21-23).

For by him all things were created: things in heaven and on earth, visible
and invisible, whether thrones or powers or rulers or authorities; all things
were created by him and for him. He is before all things, and in him all
things hold together. And he is the head of the body, the church; he is the beginning
and the firstborn from among the dead, so that in everything he might have supremacy.
(Col 1:16-18).

So that He may establish your hearts without blame in holiness before our God and
Father at the coming of our Lord Jesus with all HIS saints. (1 Thes 3:13). This will
happen when the Lord Jesus is revealed from heaven in blazing fire with HIS
powerful angels. (2 Thes 1:7). This very fact is reiterated in the gospel of Matthew and
Mark: ‘For the Son of Man is to come with HIS angels in the glory of his Father, and
then he will repay every man for what he has done.’ (Mat 16:27). At that time men will
see the Son of Man coming in clouds with great power and glory. And he will send
HIS angels and gather his elect from the four winds, from the ends of the earth to
the ends of the heavens. (Mark 13:26-27). The angels and saints belong to
YEHOWAH. YEHOWAH is sovereign over all creation and thus it belongs to
him. This shows that Jesus and YEHOWAH are one and the same since
Jesus is said to own the angels and saints. Bless Jehovah, ye HIS angels,
That are mighty in strength, that fulfill his word, Hearkening unto the voice of his word
(Ps 103:20). Praise ye him, all HIS angels: Praise ye him, all his host. (Ps 148:2)

YOU HAVE TO BELIEVE THAT JESUS IS YEHOWAH SAVIOR. THEN ONLY

YOU SHALL BE SAVED. “That if you confess with your mouth, ‘Jesus is
Lord,’ and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.
For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that
you confess and are saved. As the Scripture says, ‘Anyone who trusts in him will never
be put to shame.’ For there is no difference between Jew and Gentile— the same Lord
is Lord of all and richly blesses all who call on him,  for, ‘Everyone who
calls on the name of the Lord will be saved .’” Rom 10:9-13. Here, the Lord whom
one is supposed to call on for salvation is the same Jesus that a person must confess in
order to be saved. Thus, Paul identifies Jesus as the Yahweh spoken of in Joel
2:32!

Hebrews quotes Psalms 102’s account of God Almighty creating all things and applies it
to the Lord Jesus Christ! Of the Lord Jesus Christ Hebrews 1:10-12 says: He also says,
"In the beginning, O Lord, you laid the foundations of the earth, and the
heavens are the work of your hands. They will perish, but you remain; they
will all wear out like a garment. You will roll them up like a robe; like a
garment they will be changed. But you remain the same, and your years will
never end.” Of God Psalm 102:25-27 says: Of old You founded the earth, And the
heavens are the work of Your hands. "Even they will perish, but You endure;
And all of them will wear out like a garment; Like clothing You will change
them and they will be changed." But You are the same, And Your years will
not come to an end. Here Jesus is explicitly identified as Yahweh the creator
God.

My brothers, show no partiality as you hold the faith in our Lord Jesus Christ, the Lord
of glory. (James 2:1). James 2:1 refers to Jesus as God (Ps. 24:7-10;Zech. 2:5). "Simeon
Peter, a servant and apostle of Jesus Christ, To those who have obtained a faith of equal
standing with ours in the righteousness of our God and Savior Jesus Christ (2
Peter 1:1). They are godless men, who change the grace of our God into a license for
immorality and deny Jesus Christ our only Master and Lord. Jude 1:4 Here Jesus
is called “our only Master” and “Lord” (Kyrios). This elevates Christ above all creation
because YHWH is Master and Lord of all believers. Jesus must be YHWH.

Revelation 5:8-14. JESUS RECEIVES THE SAME EXACT HONOR THAT GOD
DOES which would be sheer idolatry if he were nothing more than a
creature, no matter how highly exalted a creature he may be. Revelation
22:6 it is the Lord, the God of the spirits of the prophets who sent his angel.
So it is God Almighty who was the one to send the angel. However, in verse
16 of the same chapter it is Jesus who sends the angel! The angel said to me,
"These words are trustworthy and true. The Lord, the God of the spirits of the
prophets, sent his angel to show his servants the things that must soon take place.
(Revelation 22:6). I, Jesus, have sent my angel to give you this testimony for the
churches. I am the Root and the Offspring of David, and the bright Morning Star
(Revelation 22:16).

IN OT PERIOD THE PEOPLE OF ISRAEL SAW AND

HEAD FROM GOD. WHEN OT PEOPLE SAW AND
HEARD GOD, THEY WERE SEEING AND HEARING THE
SAME PERSON YEHOVAH SON - JESUS CHRIST AS A
SEPARATE MANIFESTATION

"Thus the Lord [Yehovah] used to speak to Moses face to face as man speaks to his
friend" (Ex 33:11). 70 ELDERS OF ISRAEL ALSO SAW YEHOVAH AND DID NOT
DIE:  "Then Moses and Aaron...and 70 elders.. saw the God of Israel...they beheld God,
and ate and drank" (Ex 24:9-11). The being that Moses and the seventy elders of Israel
saw and spoke with, the same being that brought Israel out of bondage "For they drank
from the supernatural Rock which followed them, and the Rock was Christ"  (1Cor 10:4).
Moses entered the cloud of glory and spoke with the Lord on Sinai Ex 24:16-18. Moses
asked the Lord to "show me Your glory" (a request He granted:  And Yehovah
answered him saying:  you cannot see my face; for man shall not see me and live … I will
cover you with my hand until I have passed by; then I will take away my hand, and you
shall see my back; but my face shall not be seen. (Ex 33:18-23). We also find in Numbers
12:6-8 "And he said, Hear now my words: If there be a prophet among you, I the LORD
will make myself known unto him in a vision, and will speak unto him in a dream. My
servant Moses is not so, who is faithful in all mine house. With him will I speak mouth
to mouth, even apparently, and not in dark speeches; and the similitude of the LORD
shall he behold: wherefore then were ye not afraid to speak against my servant Moses?"
Unlike any other servant of the Lord, Moses spoke with Him "face to face" Deut 34:10.
AS YOU CAN SEE FROM THE ABOVE SCRIPTURES, GOD ALMIGHTY WAS
SEEN; BUT IT WAS NOT GOD THE FATHER.  THE OT SEEN GOD IS NOT
YEHOVAH FATHER, WHO CAN BE SEEN ONLY THROUGH JESUS. JESUS
SAID THAT NO ONE HAS EVER SEEN THE FATHER Jn 6:46. Yet, God
Almighty was seen Ex 6:2-3.  AND GOD CAN NEVER BE SEEN. HENCE IN OT
PEOPLE SEE AND HEAR JEHOVAH SON. THE HOLY SPIRIT APPEARS AS
A FLAME OR WIND BUT NEVER IN ANY HUMAN FORM. THEREFORE,
WHEN WE REALIZE THAT GOD WAS SEEN IN THE OLD TESTAMENT, IT
WAS NOT THE FATHER OR THE HOLY SPIRIT. HENCE THIS WAS OUR
LORD AND SAVIOR JESUS CHRIST, APPEARING IN PRE-INCARNATE
CHRISTOPHANY. HENCE WHENEVER GOD IS SEEN IN THE OLD
TESTAMENT, IT IS THE PRE-INCARNATE CHRIST. Moses was seeing the
Word before it was made flesh or became flesh. CONSIDER THESE VERSES: Jn 1:1
became flesh and dwelt among us. FROM THEN ON, WHENEVER JOHN THE
APOSTLE REFERS TO "GOD" HE IS REFERRING TO THE FATHER, BECAUSE THE
WORD HAD BECOME INCARNATE IN THE MAN JESUS, AS SON AND HENCE
NEEDS THE REFERENCE POINT GOD THE FATHER, PROVING THAT FATHER IS
ALSO THE MANIFESTATION OF GOD. EVEN THOUGH FATHER IS ADDRESSED AS
GOD PROPER, STILL THAT GOD PROPER IS PART OF TRINITY, WITHIN TRINITY.

YEHOVAH IS THE ONLY GOD AND SAVIOR – SO IS

JESUS CHRIST
ISA 45:21-25 Tell ye, and bring them near; yea, let them take counsel together: who hath
declared this from ancient time? who hath told it from that time? have not I the LORD?
and there is no God else beside me; a just God and a Savior; there is none
beside me. Look unto me, and be ye saved, all the ends of the earth: for I am God, and
there is none else. I have sworn by myself, the word is gone out of my mouth in
righteousness, and shall not return, That unto me every knee shall bow, every
tongue shall swear. Surely, shall one say, in the LORD have I righteousness and
strength: even to him shall men come; and all that are incensed against him shall be
ashamed. In the LORD shall all the seed of Israel be justified, and shall glory. The Bible
says that “if you confess with your mouth, ‘Jesus is Lord,’ and believe in your heart that
God raised him from the dead, you will be saved” (Rom. 10:9). Joel 2:32: "And it will
come about that whoever calls on the name of [Jehovah] Will be [saved]." Both Acts 2:21
and Romans 10:13 quote that passage, applying the title Yehowah to Christ. In Isaiah
45:21-22 YEHOVAH says, "Look unto ME and be ye saved...there is none else." In John
3:14-16 we are told to look unto the crucified One to be saved!
In Isaiah 43:11, GOD SPEAKS: "I, EVEN I, AM JEHOVAH; AND THERE IS NO
SAVIOR BESIDES ME. The title "Savior" is reserved in Scripture for God. That is
why Paul, writing to Titus, applied the name God and the word Savior both to Jesus
Christ. Titus 2:11-13 … looking for the blessed hope and the appearing of the glory of our
great God and Savior, Christ Jesus. SALVATION IS BY CONFESSING THAT
JESUS IS YEHOVAH WHO DIED AND ROSE FROM THE DEAD. JESUS IS
YEHOVAH. YEHOVAH DOES NOT SHARE THE WORK OF SALVATION.
SALVATION BELONGS TO YEHOVAH. IF JESUS IS NOT YEHOVAH HE
CANNOT SAVE.

THE BIBLE IS CATEGORICAL THAT, THERE IS NO SAVIOR EXCEPT,

YAHWEH THE GOD. ONLY GOD CAN GIVE ETERNAL LIFE. JESUS GIVES
ETERNAL LIFE. ONLY YEHOVAH IS LORD, ONLY YEHOVAH SAVES. IF
JESUS IS NOT YEHOVAH CALLING ON JESUS FOR SALVATION IS
BLASPHEMY. IT IS THE NAME OF JESUS CHRIST, WHICH THE NEW
TESTAMENT GLORIFIES AS SAVIOR AND GOD. Acts 2:38 Then Peter said unto
them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the
remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. Acts 3:6 Then Peter
said, Silver and gold have I none; but such as I have give I thee: In the name of Jesus
Christ of Nazareth rise up and walk. Acts 4:10,12 Be it known unto you all, and to all the
people of Israel, that by the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom ye crucified, whom
God raised from the dead, even by him doth this man stand here before you
whole.... Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under
heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved. Acts 4:18 And they called them,
and commanded them not to speak at all nor teach in the name of Jesus. Acts 5:40 And
to him they agreed: and when they had called the apostles, and beaten them, they
commanded that they should not speak in the name of Jesus, and let them go. Acts 8:12
But when they believed Philip preaching the things concerning the kingdom of God,
and the name of Jesus Christ, they were baptized, both men and women. Acts 9:27 But
Barnabas took him, and brought him to the apostles, and declared unto them how he
had seen the Lord in the way, and that he had spoken to him, and how he had preached
boldly at Damascus in the name of Jesus. Acts 16:18 And this did she many days. But
Paul, being grieved, turned and said to the spirit, I command thee in the name of Jesus
Christ to come out of her. And he came out the same hour. Acts 26:9 I verily thought
with myself, that I ought to do many things contrary to the name of Jesus of Nazareth.1
Cor. 1:2 Unto the church of God which is at Corinth, to them that are sanctified in Christ
Jesus, called to be saints, with all that in every place call upon the name of Jesus
Christ our Lord, both theirs and ours: Philip. 2:9-11 Wherefore God also hath highly
exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name: That at the name of
Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under
the earth; And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of
God the Father.

THE NAME OF GOD – JESUS IS YEHOVAH

THE ORIGINAL WORD NAMES YAH, YHWH, YEHOVAH, AND
YAHUSHUA PROVE THAT JESUS IS YEHOVAH. YEHOWAH IS
PRIMARILY THE SON OF GOD WHO BECAME THE SON OF MAN IN
YAHUSHUA (JESUS). YAH is the key word, in the name of God. In heaven
HALLELU-YAH is heard. It means praise to YAH. This word is uttered in the worship in
heaven Rev 19:1-6. That is why YAHUSHUA is also worshipped in heaven in the book of
revelation. The name of Jesus Christ was given by God. Yahushua is the true name of
Jesus Christ in the original scriptures. It means YAH is salvation. His name shall be
called Yahushua because he shall save his people from their sins. Notice that he has a
people of his own. Only God has a people of his own. Mt 1:21. IN THE EVENT OF
THE VIRGIN BIRTH OF JESUS CHRIST THE TRINITY WAS INVOLVED. Lk
1:35 The Holy Spirit will come upon you, and the power of the MOST HIGH will
overshadow you, and for that reason, the holy offspring shall be called the Son of God.
Jesus got the name Yahushua not in an ordinary normal manner, just as Joshua the
helper of Moses got it. God gave the name for Jesus before his birth with the clear stated
reason that HE WILL SAVE HIS PEOPLE FROM THEIR SINS. So, HIS NAME HAS A
SPECIAL MEANING AND MISSION INBUILT IN IT which only God is capable of
fulfilling. And the very fact that Jesus has indisputably fulfilled his mission ipso facto
proves his deity.
BIBLE NEVER SAYS THAT YEHOVAH OF OT IS NOT THE YAHUSHUA OF
THE NT. On the otherhand the Bible makes it clear that Yehovah of OT is the
Yahushua of NT. Both Yehovah and Yahushua have taken title expressions such as IAM,
GOD, KING, LORD etc. Father cannot be seen by men. But both be Yehovah and
Yahushua or Jesus were seen by many. Jesus even said that WHEN ABRAHAM SAW
YEHOVAH IN THE OT, ABRAHAM WAS ACTUALLY SEEING JESUS. Jn 8:56
Your father Abraham rejoiced to see my day; and he saw it, and was glad. Thus, the
name of Jesus Christ was not like many other Joshuas, and all Joshuas are not God. But
this Jesus Christ is different from others because of many reasons associated with him
such as predetermined name, virgin birth etc.
THE NAME YEHOVAH IS NOT IN THE NT – BECAUSE IT IS THE SAME AS
YAHUSHUA OR JESUS. HENCE WORSHIP DUE TO JEHOVAH IS PAID TO
JESUS. As wonderful as Yahweh’s Name is, there is a name which has even greater
significance and importance: Therefore, God exalted him to the highest place and gave
him a name which is above every name; that at the name of Jesus every knee should
bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and that every tongue should confess
that Jesus Christ is Lord to the glory of God the Father. Phil 2:9-11. Compare this
passage with ISA 45:23-24 By myself have I sworn, the word is gone forth from my
mouth [in] righteousness, and shall not return, that unto me every knee shall bow, every
tongue shall swear. Only in Jehovah, it is said of me, is righteousness and strength; even
to him shall men come; and all they that were incensed against him shall be put to
shame.

HISTORY OF THE ENGLISH WORD JESUS

We got the English name word Jesus when transliterated 3 times: from Hebrew to
Greek, from Greek to Latin, and then from Latin to English. Before 16 th century, there
was no English word Jesus, as there was no letter J in English. Uttering the name
correctly is honoring the person. Yahushua is the original Hebrew name for Jesus. The
word Yahushua (Jesus) means YHWH or Yehovah saves. Mt 1:21 … and she shall bring
forth a son; and thou shalt call his name Jesus; for it is he that shall save his people from
their sins. Some think that even the ideographic meaning of the Hebrew letters of
YHWH – YAH can prove trinity. The word YHWH comes from the Hebrew letters - yod
he wav he. YHWH means the self-existing eternal I AM. The name YHWH or Yehovah is
often expressed as LORD both in OT and NT. But those who deny the trinity and the
deity of Jesus wrongly argue that Yehovah is only God the father, and Jesus is not
Yehovah.

USAGE OF LORD
OT JEHOVAH IS THE NT LORD. THE WORD "JEHOVAH" AND THE WORD
"LORD" IN THE NEW TESTAMENT OF THE NEW WORLD TRANSLATION
IS THE SAME GREEK WORD "KURIOS. A distinct proof that Christ is Jehovah is
to be seen in the New Testament title of Lord which is applied to Him. YEHOWAH is a
Hebrew term which is not brought forward into the New Testament. Its equivalent is the
Greek term KURIOS (LORD), which title is also applied to the Father and the Spirit. It is
a justified to treat the name YEHOWAH of the Old Testament as the same as the New
Testament name LORD (KURIOS). Because that is the natural meaning of many exalted
declarations: ‘Lord of all’ (Acts 10:36). ‘Lord over all’ (Rom 10:12), ‘Lord of glory’ (1 Cor
2:8), and ‘King of Kings, and Lord of Lords’ (Rev 17:14; 19:16). In light of this it may
be said that someday all shall confess that Jesus is  LORD Phil 2:11. Hence
YEHOVAH JESUS.
