Phrases With Prepositions + Ing Form: First Bimester TEACHER: Nila Inés Núñez Almonacid
Some adjectives go with certain prepositions. There are no grammatical rules for
which preposition is used with which adjective, so try to learn them together.
We use:
At: to talk about skills and abilities: Ex: She is brilliant at maths.
About with adjectives of feelings. Ex: My neighbor is angry about the party.
However, sometimes we use of with feelings. Ex: He's scared of flying.
To to show the connection between people or things. Ex: My jacket is similar to yours.
