1. Representation of A.P. State Temple Employees Samakhya, Vijayawada, dated: 30.9.2010 and others. 2. G.O.Ms.No.1303, Revenue (Endts.I) Dept., dt.20.10.2010. 3. G.O.Ms.No.1395, Revenue (Endts.I) Dept., dt.24.11.2010. 4. Recommendations of the Committee on PRC 2010, dt.5.1.2011. @@@ O R D E R: In the reference 1st read above, several associations of temple employees have requested to extend the scheme of compassionate appointment to the dependent employees of the temples on par with the dependent Government employees. 2. The Committee on PRC 2010, which has been constituted vide the references 2nd & 3rd read above, has furnished its recommendations to the Government and stated that it would be appropriate to extend the scheme of Compassionate Appointment which is available in the Government to the employees of the temples and other Endowment institutions. Further it is recommended that a temple or an Endowment institution would be treated as the unit for this purpose and the applicability would have to be with reference to the qualifications prescribed for the post to which the deceased employees children are to be appointed. 3. Keeping in view of the request of the temple employees and also in the light of the recommendations of the Committee, Government after careful examination, hereby extend the scheme of Compassionate Appointment which has been available in the Government to all the employees of the temples i.e., administration staff including religious staff duly treating the temple or an Endowment institution as a Unit for this purpose. 4. The Commissioner of Endowments Department, A.P., Hyderabad is requested take necessary action accordingly in the matter.
