Preliminary Tasks: “HR-Log”


 DO Warm-up – “Dynamic-Stretching Exercises”. Do it in 2 repetitions each exercise and recall
the fundamental dance positions of hands & feet in dancing.
 HR Log: Get your HR before and after doing the exercise and record it to your HR Log Sheet to
monitor your progress in your fitness goals.

(Reminder to the learners: When instructions are not clear to you, do not hesitate to ask assistance
from your subject teacher through phone or any available access)

Activity 1: Now, let’s dance…

1. Execute the basic dance steps presented above in 16 counts per step.
2. Follow the Step Pattern with the counting. (See Table A above)
3. You may use recorded/live musical accompaniment.
4. Ask/Request your elder or any member from the family to help you in the interpretation.
5. This time master the patterns introduced. (Optional: For those who have camera phones you may
record your final performance and send it either through email/fb messenger of your subject teacher
within two weeks.)
