Your responsibilities
Ensure adherence to department budgets and minimize operating costs and overheads
Support departmental head in cost saving initiatives by conduct pre-operational risk assessments
and designing risk mitigation measures
Investigate the root cause HSE complaints put forward by government officials, employees,
customers, contractors and report the result to Department Head
Liaison with Govt. Officials / statutory bodies and coordinate during audits
Perform safety audits and inspect facilities, machinery, and safety equipment to identify and
correct potential hazards, and to ensure safety regulation compliance
Manage all required documentation, operational checks, and reports for the HSE Management
System to be compliant with OHSAS and ISO standards, including corrective and preventive
measures
Coordinate for HSE audit as per schedule
Compile all NCs, prepare corrective action and follow up for closure of NCs
Coordinate and participate in the investigation of accidents and near misses
Review and analyze accidents and near miss incidents and recommend corrective action
Arrange for firefighting training and mock drills for all employees as per statutory guidelines
Supervises the regular inspection of firefighting, safety and emergency response equipment and
coordinate for timely maintenance of same
Identify safety training needs, organize and co-ordinate safety training courses and prepare
training material where appropriate
Liaise with onsite contractors to ensure their compliance with Company safety regulations and
adherence to safety standards, including basic safety induction training
Manage the proper storage and filing of controlled documents
Prepare and timely submit all MIS & reports
Your background
Bachelor/master’s degree in Engineering/relevant engineering from a recognized university
Minimum 5 years of functional experience
