MODULE 4

Rights and Duties of Employees & Employers, Confidentiality in the Workplace, and

Conflict Resolution

To wrap-up everything you have learned today, read and answer the following questions:

1. Being a trainee or an employee someday, how will these rights and duties help you in your

job? Answer this in two sentences.

ANSWER:

As a trainee, I will use the rights and duties in doing my job by means of abiding by it and

applying it to my job. It's critical that I understand my rights and duties as a trainee or potential

employee in order to contribute to a safe and healthy work environment for myself and my

coworkers.

2. What is the implication to you of learning the confidentiality of data information? How will

you apply it now?

ANSWER:

Information with high confidentiality concerns is considered secret and must be kept confidential
to prevent identity theft, compromise of accounts and systems, legal or reputational damage, and
other severe consequences.

3. You have also learned the resolution and prevention of conflicts. What do you think is the

importance of all of these at home, in school, in an organization or in the company?

Conflict is a common, inevitable part of life. It exists because people don’t always get along or
agree. Because conflict is a normal part of everyone’s life, conflict resolution, or the ability to
resolve conflicts effectively, is a crucial skill for everyone to have. This is especially important
in the area of bullying prevention. Being able to resolve a conflict before it turns into bullying is
the most effective way to reduce the incidence of bullying in your organization.
MODULE 5

Appreciating the Importance of Credentials

To wrap-up everything you have learned today, read and answer the following questions on a

sheet of paper.

1. What are the different parts of a resume?

ANSWER:

● Header. Include your name, full address, phone number and email. ...

● Professional Objective (optional) This is a phrase or sentence that highlights your

intentions and accomplishments. ...

● Qualifications Summary (optional) ...

● Education. ...

● Experience. ...

● References.

2. In what ways can a resume be arranged? Which do you think is best to use?

ANSWER:

Work experience should always be listed on a resume in reverse chronological order. Your work
history should go back in time from top to bottom: your current or most recent job on top, then
the previous one below, all the way to the oldest, but still relevant job.

3. Why are these credentials such as Barangay Clearance, Police Clearance, Mayor’s

Clearance or certificate and Medical Certificate important?

ANSWER:

Credentials such as Barangay Clearance, Police Clearance, Mayor's Clearance or Certificate and
Medical Certificate are important for security and civil purposes. Barangay Clearance is an
identity check if you are really a resident of that certain barangay. This is also a means to check
our personal profile . Police clearance is very important as it serves as a a proof that you don't
have any criminal record. This is also a means to know your identity. And medical certificate is
a document regarding our health issues. Whether we are physically healthy or not as of particular
moment. These credentials are essential in looking for a job, too. For these will attest your
credibility as a person.

4. Why do you need to attach a resume to an application letter?

ANSWER:

Resumes, usually accompanied by customized cover letters, get sent to employers to determine
your eligibility and qualifications for a job. Employers use resumes to get a deeper understanding
of candidate skills, strengths and experience.
