Rationale
This Work Immersion Portfolio will serve as a workbook for the students who will take
up the course/subject Work Immersion in Senior High School. The framework is based on
DepEd Order No. 30 s. 2017, entitled Guidelines for Work Immersion. This workbook will
essentially foster in-depth learning of the world of work and assessment of student’s
performance during work immersion. Furthermore, the purpose of this portfolio includes but is

WORK IMMERSION
Pre-requisite:
Course Description:
Work Immersion is one of the course requirements for graduation. A Senior High School
student has to undergo Work Immersion in an industry that directly relates to the student’s
postsecondary goal. Through Work Immersion, the students are exposed to and become familiar
competence. Specifically, the students are able to: (i) gain relevant and practical industrial skills
under the guidance of industry experts and workers; (ii) appreciate the importance and
application of the principles and theories taught in school; (iii) enhance their technical
knowledge and skills; (iv) enrich their skills in communications and human relations; (v) develop
good working habits, attitudes, appreciation, and respect for work. These prepare them to meet
the needs and challenges of employment or higher education after graduation. Duties and

JC Excellente Christian Academy Inc. is a non-stock, non-profit mission school founded, by God's
humble servants, Rev. Elvin M. Urbano and Ptra. Belinda DC. Urbano in June 2011. The desire to
train future Godly learners in the Philippines is the heart of the institution's vision.
With the administrations' powerful vision of transforming a 1,500 square meter lot into an
educational institution, the school started the Pres-school level with 24 pioneering learners. Years
later, the school elementary level was opened and gained its government recognition on December
23, 2013.
The 2014-2015 school year was composed of learners who became the first batch of elementary
graduates. As JC Excellente Christian Academy Inc. enlarged its boundaries in 2016, the second
building was constructed to house the high school students. In 2017, the institution's secondary
course was officially recognized by the government.
As part of the school's structural improvement in 2016, the computer and TLE laboratories were
constructed to cater to the demand of the school's growing population.
Through the years of continuous infrastructure and internal systems improvements, JC Excellente
Christian Academy established its name as an institution which cater to the needs of varying types of
students. It has been known in its community as a school that helps students maximize their potential
and enhance their leadership skills.
The school has been a member of the City of San Jose del Monte Private Schools Association since
2015 and has been gaining awards and recognitions from the inter-school contests held by the said
association, last 2017, the school ranked 9th place in the overall ranking of CSANPRISA
competitions.
JCECA also started to open its home to Campus Journalism in 2017. The school first joined the
Division School Press Conference in the same year and will continue to train future campus
journalists in the next year. The school is located at Blk 40, lot 73, Road 1, Minuyan II CSJDM
Bulacan.

DAY 1
We had a meeting with the teachers about which department they are going to assign us.
DAY 2
Today is the first day of our work immersion and today is also the day that we will receive our
tasks. The task that I received for today is to make an event proposal for our upcoming
intramurals. After that we had a meeting with a teacher that will give us our main task for the
whole month of march that me and my fellow administrators need to do. She explained it to us

Today is just the continuation of making the event proposal for our upcoming intramurals.
DAY 4
On day three, Me and my fellow administrators started the task that was given to us during the
meeting. We took pics of each classroom to make sure if it’s clean or not. We also received
another task from the teachers, we computed the answers on the survey that the teachers gave us.
DAY 5
On this day we started to make the posters that we are going to paste on the doors of each
classrooms.

Day 5 is just the continuation of making the posters and also the day that we paste them on
classroom doors.

Information with high confidentiality concerns is considered secret and must be kept confidential
to prevent identity theft, compromise of accounts and systems, legal or reputational damage, and
other severe consequences.
3. You have also learned the resolution and prevention of conflicts. What do you think is the
Conflict is a common, inevitable part of life. It exists because people don’t always get along or
agree. Because conflict is a normal part of everyone’s life, conflict resolution, or the ability to
resolve conflicts effectively, is a crucial skill for everyone to have. This is especially important
in the area of bullying prevention. Being able to resolve a conflict before it turns into bullying is
the most effective way to reduce the incidence of bullying in your organization.

Medical Certificate are important for security and civil purposes. Barangay Clearance is an
identity check if you are really a resident of that certain barangay. This is also a means to check
our personal profile . Police clearance is very important as it serves as a a proof that you don't
have any criminal record. This is also a means to know your identity. And medical certificate is
a document regarding our health issues. Whether we are physically healthy or not as of particular
moment. These credentials are essential in looking for a job, too. For these will attest your
credibility as a person.
