Implementation of LDM2 Sample MELC (optional but highly recommended)
for Teachers

Reflection Questions:
 After answering and going through the outputs of your co-teachers, what do
you think are the adjustments that the teachers need to make in lesson
planning?
 What are the steps that you and your department/subject area teachers can do to
assist/guide them through these changes? What are the changes you need to
make as a Master Teacher/Head Teacher as you lead your group through these
changes?
 If there is a curriculum initiative by your region or division, such as developing
the Budget of Work per subject area that is based on the MELCS, how will you
guide teachers in bridging the connection of MELCS and this sample initiative?

Reflection

 As I go over the different output of my co-teachers, I discovered that teachers really

need an adjustment in adapting the new normal platform and modalities from the
traditional one. Be honest to my myself I also have the same adjustment. In the new
learning time there is a need to adjust Lesson Planning based on the most Essential
Learning Competencies (MELC) that would fit the needs of the time and teachers
must adapt to that attainable lessons for both teachers and the learners.

 As a Master Teacher and LAC Leader/Facilitator I must extend my help and

assistance to my co-teachers when needed. Since we are in the Pandemic era, I
encouraged my colleagues to do necessary adjustment s in the new normal teaching
and platform and to follow the safety protocols.

 The budget of work is the basis that the delivery of instruction of quality instruction
is ensured. I will impart to them the knowledge and skills that I already know. I will
guide and support them to the best of my ability, so that they will be equip in this
new normal teaching time.

3A - Lesson Design and List of targeted learning interventions + Learning tasks
Assessment in the for DL + Assessment methods in DL (optional but
Modalities highly recommended)

Reflection Questions:

 How can these lists of interventions help the teachers teach better in the new
learning delivery modality? Why is it important for every teacher in your team
to have them?
 What are the challenges in developing learning tasks in a Distance Learning
environment? What key competencies would you need to assist teachers in?
 What is the difference in assessing students in between traditional and Distance
Learning modalities? How can you guide teachers in bridging these gaps?

Reflection

 The lists of interventions aid the teachers track students in the completion of
answering their modules on the given time, but there are students returned the
modules without answering some of the activities. So then, the listed intervention is
now very important so that we can determine the plan and methods used to cater the
needs of our students.

 The primary challenge in cascading the above-mentioned assessment is the honesty

of the learners and parent in answering those materials. Considering the level of
comprehension in developing learning task in Distance Learning (DL) is a great
challenge. The teachers must look into different assessment types and make the task
doable to the learners.

 Assessment is the essential components of the instruction. In the Distance Learning

we are not allowed to face to face to our learners, we are using printed modular as
our modality. This is a problem on how to assist learners evaluation because the
parents have a big participation on it. I can say on the traditional assessment is the
suitable one for it is easy to evaluate learner’s output and immediately address
learners need while distance learning is supported by supervision of the parents and
guardians. In bridging the gap we plan and find ways to access to the student so that
we can easily evaluate their performance in this new normal time.

Reflection

 As a Master Teacher it is my duty to help and guide my co-teachers in assisting

students who are lagging behind through the preparation of Individual Monitoring
Plan. This can be identified through the results of their writing assessment and
performance. Appropriate intervention will cater to those students who are
unsuccessful I answering their modules.in the Individual Monitoring Plan is the
best way for the teacher adviser to know wether the students shows progress or not.
Give another intervention materials until such time students shows some progress.
Patience and perseverance are the virtue that the teachers should have so they will
