Climate Change
INTRODUCTION
Climate Change is caused by people, climate change is a challenge that we
face right now. Based on the University of California, climate change can be
defined as the rising of the global temperature causing precipitation and wind
patterns to change that can last for years. According to the article made by the
National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, it is said that the effects of
climate change are being experienced now, and these effects are not just the
rising temperature but also affect ecosystems and communities in the United
State and also globally. This challenge or issue we are facing right now can be very
little to life-threatening if not solved. To make the impact very little we need to
act now and start making solutions to prevent Climate Change irreversibly.
BODY
The temperature is changing right now. The Philippines is included in
Southeast Asia, where there has been an increase in temperature, according to
PAG-ASA and the IPCC. It was discovered that cold evenings are declining in
frequency while hot days, nights, and heat rays are increasing. People are now
noticing how this might have a significant impact on their life. Particularly for the
farmers because the drought makes the soil unfit for plant growth. A result of this
is that farmers will not be paid. This may potentially be fatal and result in heat
stroke, skin conditions, etc.
The Philippines is extremely susceptible to the effects of climate change,
including rising sea levels, more frequent occurrences of extreme weather, rising
temperatures, and heavy rains. Exposure to natural hazards is to blame for this.
The Philippines are situated in the area of the world that is most vulnerable to
cyclones, with an average of 20 cyclones each year, of which 7-9 make landfall.
Sea levels in the Philippines are increasing far more quickly than the global
average due to storm surges, endangering low-lying regions with permanent
deluges. If this continues, in the next several decades, storm surges and high tides
can combine with the sea level rise and land subsidence to further increase
flooding in many regions. When this happen many will be affected.
CONCLUSION
We are now experiencing the effects of Climate Change right now, even now
as you are reading this. This issue if not solved as fast as we can, the effects
can be irreversible. This can be the cause of the loss of many lives. We should act
now to prevent these life threatening events. To prevent this, we should to it one
step at a time. And the most effective way to lessen the problem is don’t abuse
our natural resources instead plant more tree sand conserve wild life. Through
this there’s a possibility that the earth can go back to its natural biodiversity
