1. Course Design

Course Title : COMPUTER SYSTEMS SERVICING NC II

Nominal Duration : 277 HOURS


Basic : 37 hours
Common : 80 hours
Core : 160 hours

Qualification Level : NC II

Course Description : This course is designed to develop & enhance the knowledge, skills, & attitudes of a
Computer Systems Service Technician, in accordance with industry standards. It covers
the basic and common competencies in addition to the core competencies such as to
install and configure computers systems, set-up computer networks and servers and to
maintain and repair computer systems and networks.

Trainee Entry Requirements :


Trainees or students wishing to gain entry into these qualification should possess the following requirements:
 Can communicate orally and in writing

 Can perform mathematical computations

 Must be physically and mentally fir

 Must be computer literate

 Must complete at least four-year basic secondary education or ALS Graduate or Senior High Completer
