Testnet Instruction - Phase 8
Goals:
1. Understand the product
2. Test our exchange in real-time
3. Look for bugs and issues and provide feedback on the trading experience and potential
improvements
Instructions:
1. Create your account on our exchange and link your MetaMask wallet. (We have
whitelisted the wallet address you gave us and you must use that one)
2. You will be given $50,000 in “play” money to trade with.
3. Please make multiple trades, using all different tools and trading options from our
exchange. Please refer to the Testing Activities below and attempt to engage in as many
of these as possible. Note: during our test phase you may see issues with getting
“limit” orders filled vs “market” orders.
4. It will be helpful for us if you use the exchange on multiple browsers.
5. If you speak/read one of the non-English languages supported by GammaX, it would be
helpful if you tested with that language selected and report any issues you see.
6. Please keep a log of any issues/bugs you discover including the date, time and which
browser/device. . Report any bugs on your reward dashboard on the tab “Feedback”
7. For testnet discussion, please go on Discord on the #testnet-discussion channel (Please
reach out to our community managers to get a Beta Tester role to have access to the
channel)
3. After you have completed a few days of testing. Please fill out our survey form.
4. Remember, TestNet testers will also be granted priority access to the GammaX
MainNet, which will be launching early in 2023.
Testing Activities
1. Try to make at least one trade/day for latency testing. Multiple a day is highly
encouraged. For 5 days minimum.
2. Pay attention to the tooltips to ensure that they are prompted when you sign up/in.
3. Current order types: Limit, Market, Stop Limit, Stop Market, TP Limit,
Advanced. (Use as many of these as possible.)
4. Play around with chart functions.
5. Try canceling orders, and see if the orders are still appearing in the current
positions tab when canceled.
6. Attempt both withdrawal options (slow and fast) at the end of the activity period.
7. Explore the portfolio tab on both desktop and mobile.
8. Try to close a position from the multiple position tabs that are offered.
9. Try canceling orders, and see if the orders are also still appearing in the current
positions / current orders tab when they are canceled.
10. Check to see if the notification features work correctly in the Notifications tab
a. Notifications when orders are filled and canceled
b. Force the warning message to appear
c. Force the error message to appear
d. Ensure the success message appears
