Welcome to the Learning Activity Sheet (LAS) “Assemble Computer Hardware”. This
learning activity sheet contains background information, learning competency code, directions,
instructions, acitivities, guide questions, rubric, reflection and references for the learners to
complete core competencies of “Install and Configure Computer Systems”
You are required to go through a series of learning activities in order to complete each topics
of the (LAS). Follow these activities on your own and answer the activity evaluation at the end
of each learning activity.
If you have questions, don’t hesitate to ask your teacher for assistance.
You will learn to perform of install application software based on software installation guides,
end-user requirements and software license agreement, you will experience the different
scenarios in unit assembly necessary to complete the work in accordance with established
procedures in Computer System Servicing, you must learn to do actual hands-on to application
software. The basic procedures should be considered in the installation process, mastery of the
skills to create one for the computer hardware unit is essential for successful project.
Install Application Software based on software installation guides, end-user requirements and

Directions/Instructions:
In this activity, you will master the skills of install application software based on software
installation guides, end-user requirements and software license agreement, step by step process
must be followed to complete the work and accordance with the system requirements in the
assembled units of Computer Systems Servicing. You will watch two video clips via link
below;
Activity 1: Practice the “New Normal” preventative measures in your activities; refer to

office. Use a short white bond paper and be creative for the documentation.
Activity 2: Practice the “New Normal” preventative measures in your activities; refer to
health protocols at the closure section of this activity.
Tools/Equipment/testing devices:
Working PC units with ready peripherals devices drivers to be installed application software,
Mobile Phone with data connection, Flash drive and DVD OS installer and CDs/DVDs drivers
for the devices, Smart phone, LCD projector etc..
Supplies/Materials:
Basic tools, peripherals devices manuals for devices installation, papers, pen, e-module, videos
related to install application software and DVDs installer storage media.
Procedures:
1. Gather all necessary materials and supplies, peripherals devices and drivers
to configure, and install software for 64 and 32 bit operating system and
apps utilities & drivers.
2. Follow the company’s recommendations/instructions on certain software
consider the bit whether 32 or 64 bit for installation.
3. Apply OHS in installing software to complete computer whole set
functional PC both hardware and software. Do it one at a time.
4. Install the apps according to the user needs for completing the process of
computer hardware and software installation, follow procedures undertaken
to complete the job.
5. Make a report/documentation of the completed installed software
installation with accordance to procedures.
6. Ask for help from your computer teacher any correction and suggestions.
Activity 3: Practice the “New Normal” preventative measures in your activities; refer to
health protocols at the closure section of this activity.
Direction: Follow and perform the given procedures in this activity. Safety precautions must
be observed when working. You will be rated in accordance with the rubrics
provided after the task: (e.g. anti-virus, video editor, productivity softwares etc...)
Note: To complete the task, you must follow the procedures. If you
encountered some errors, ask for assistance from your teacher
demonstration and your return demonstration will follow after you
practice and enhance your skills in install application software. Make sure that all
computer components and systems software are functional, devices are working and
free of conflict.
